Great pad but not for a dressage saddle
First off, I LOVED this half pad! It's gorgeous, nice channel along the spine, very soft and super flexible. The Thinline piece has a new grippy surface. The problem is that the cut is for a jump saddle. It did not fit well under my dressage saddle at all. I compared it to the Thinline Perfect Pad and that is cut for either. The Thinline piece on this pad is definitely cut specifically for a jump saddle. Even if I went up a size (17.5 saddle, the medium was too short) it wouldn't have fit correctly as the front is very forward cut. If they make one for a dressage saddle, I'll be the first one to order!

Worth it!
I love this product. I am working with my saddle fitter to find a comfortable fit for my horse that is adjustable while she builds muscle during her rehab. This is such a nice product, worth the money.

Exactly what I ordered
After saddle fit issues with a new horse, we had our fitter adjust a new saddle and recommend an appropriate half pad. So far, this pad has been great. The black looks nice and provides the extra comfort my horse needs with his saddle. I also love the zipper bag it came with to keep it clean when not using.

Not quite like the picture
Note that the left hand pommel side with the fluff is not how the pad actually is. The fluff is missing from most of the side in what looks to be a purposeful design and logo placement. It really looks odd and uneven as if if got ripped off by accident vs a purposeful thing. At first I thought my pad was damaged, but no. The sheepskin also feels synthetic but I was pretty sure it was supposed to be real sheepskin and for the price, it should be.

Super Quality!
I've had this pad for about 2 years now and still is almost like new! I only use this pad on 1 horse, but still use it about 5x per week. It has held up extremely well. Be aware that it is quite fluffy (thick), so if you are looking for a thinner pad, I would look elsewhere. However, this is an excellent half pad in my opinion!

Love it but it’s expensive for such a little thing
Have not been able to try it out yet due to weather, so don’t know if it will work for my horses yet. Can not comment on durability either since I just received it.

Seems to be a nice pad
Seems nice and looks like it will work out for my horses, but have not used it as yet. I was waiting for another order of the shims to go into this pad. Those just arrived yesterday, so need to try everything out before I can fully review this pad. The sheepskin is very plush. It’s a very expensive pad to have to order shims at an extra cost of $70. My Mattes saddle pads come with the shims. Wish they would include all the shims needed with the pad.

A must have
I bought this as a last ditch effort to get my saddle to fit my Appaloosa. It is so easy to shim and use. I absolutely love it! It really helped my saddle fit. My appy is happy again!

Sizing is misleading
I bought this to replace my current setup (mattes half pad with thinline contour on top). This combo works very well, so streamlining my routine and appearance was worth the price. HOWEVER, what thinline won’t tell you, is that they’ve only put 16.5” (length wise/spine)
of the thinline product atop this lovely sheepskin pad. I didn’t even try it on, knowing this is not going to be offering the claimed protection. Why on earth do they think 16.5 inches is adequate?! The basic contour pad measures 21”. What up with that? I’ll be sticking with my old combo. Too bad they didn’t use more logic carrying this out because it really is a fantastic concept.
*This review was for a size medium, claimed to fit 17.5” saddles.*
