As riders and online shoppers, we know it can be tough to buy a new bridle or pair of boots without trying them on. That's why we moved the fitting room to your living room (or barn)! From breeches to blankets, if you or your horse can try it on, you can return it, free! Just use the pre-paid return label included in your order within 60 days from the purchase date. And of course, please make sure the item is in like-new condition with original packaging (we said 'fitting room', not 'war room'!).

The Thinline Anatomic Hunter/Jumper Girth is a beautiful European manufactured leather girth lined with ThinLine material. These girths are:

  • Breathable, anti-microbial, and no-slip/no-rub. ThinLine lining keeps your horse comfortable and your saddle in place. This girth does not slide, bunch, or pinch your horse's skin.
  • Easy to clean and very durable!
  • No need for sheepskin; dirt will not stick to ThinLine.
  • Horses never have a skin reaction to ThinLine.
  • Keep them cool and comfortable so they can perform better.
On the outside, fashionable and great looking quality leather. Against the horse, unbeatable comfort. If your current girth size is a tight fit, order one size larger.

Thinline Anatomic Hunter/Jumper Girth is rated 2.4286 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Came Apart The thinline came apart on one end. The material is not suitable for the stress that something like a girth puts on it. Inlove my Thinline pad and bareback pad but this is a fail.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Girth split after little use Loved the girth at first until it split like the other person's did. Unfortunate since otherwise it's great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Made a big difference I have an older horse (24!) who can get very grumpy about girthing when it's cold. His attitude improved vastly with this girth- I think largely because it stays soft and flexible when it's cold. I have had no issues with splitting ( knock on wood ) but I'm also very careful not to over tighten on my old man. I purchased one size up from his old girth.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Girth falls apart I had the same issue as the other reviewer with the photo of the girth that split. Mine did exactly the same thing. Fortunately, the material sewn down the middle kept the grith from splitting completely and kept the saddle -- and me -- from coming off the horse. This is completely unacceptable quality. Do not buy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from undecided While I love the thinline products this one is only OK. It does have a lot of stretch to it so that can be a good thing and it can also be a bad thing. While the girth lives up to the stay in place and comfort that thinline is famous for I really prefer the style, look and quality of the old design.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't Buy This Girth! I've used this girth for 4 months on one horse. It appeared to fit well, no rubbing or skin irritation, and has nice elastic. The girth split in half while I was riding today- only the outer elastic kept the entire girth from snapping in two. The material just completely separated into two. Very poor quality! Girth was lightly used and well cared for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Girthy mare approves This is a very stretchy soft girth that my mare seems to like quite a lot, even though it's a bit less wide than previous girths I've used on her. I would recommend it. However, due to its stretchiness, I am concerned that I'm going to have to buy a small size next time.
