Great features.
My horse and I are very happy with this hackamore. It adjusted well (I have a small Arabian) and I like the slots which allow the cheek pieces to adjust position with movement of the hackamore. I like that it is stainless steel. My horse has developed mouth issues. He is much more relaxed with this hackamore.

Most attractive hackamore, but quite long shanks
This is the highest quality hackamore I have found (short of importing from Germany). Good leather, very smooth sturdy metal. The bridle hooks on the noseband look way better than the typical buckles. However, I think they are unnecessary. I usually don't adjust that part of a hackamore, and the one time I tried with this one it wouldn't work - there is not enough room under the leather cover for both tails to fit if you try to shorten the noseband. It will just look uneven if you only shorten one side. I would like to see a hackamore with one solid noseband, no buckles to (not) be adjusted.
If you are considering buying this or the Herm Sprenger - BUY THIS ONE. They are comparable in price and this is much better quality. Plus, the slits at the top of this one (absent in the Sprenger) are essential to keep the cheekpieces being pulled towards the eyes. The only reason to consider the Sprenger over this is because the shanks are shorter on that one. But if you need shorter shanks, I would go with a flower hackamore.
I few improvements I would like to see:
- an option for a shorter shank
- more room in the upper slits - some bridles to not fit through or don't slide easily.
- noseband without any sort of buckles. or at least not have extra holes that aren't even usable
- keepers that hold the folded leather together by the rings
Bottom line: I use this on my big warmblood that needs extra leverage. I use a flower hackamore for every other horse. If I was going to show, I would want this noseband over any other currently available (even if I put it on the flower shanks).

Very high quality
This hackamore is very well made. The leather was a little stiff and i had a hard time adjusting the nose piece. My head stall straps did nit fit into the curved openings that were meant to prevent the leather from interfering with my horses eyes. Because of this I had to return the hackamore.
