Solid support for my 50 pound western saddle. Installs easily and looks neat.

Doesn't fit a western saddle the best
It's a easy to set up saddle rack and I would see it working great for English saddles but it doesn't work the best for western saddles. It's not long enough.

Well made product
It is well made and looks like it will not chip and will last a long time. Mine didn't come with screws to mount so I had to purchase separately but still a 5 star product.

Very sturdy
I got these racks to hang up my 4 saddles. They are very sturdy and hold my husbands old heavy saddle with no problem. It has helped me get my tack room organized.

Ok, but not for all saddles
I got two of these for my tack locker, and I like them a lot more than the original ones that were in there (the kind that's just a piece of wood with a hook that hangs off a screw eye). They're sturdy and well made with a nice painted finish. But they hold saddles at a bit of an angle towards the wall and that causes some drawbacks. The rack I installed on the bottom (but still high enough to put a bin underneath) was fine, but I also installed one above that, and the angle it held the saddle at made it really hard to lift that saddle off. The other problem is that it smashes forward flaps against the wall. Not a problem for my dressage saddle, but not great for my jumping saddle. Because of those things, I wouldn't buy these racks again. There are plenty of others out there!

Watch for Slipping
A new tack room was built and some of these saddle racks were installed. They are sturdy, but the angle toward the wall causes my western, synthetic, youth saddle to silde, causing the horn to be in contact with the bracket. I don't like that.

Solid
These are solid and easy to install. They keep saddles neat and tidy in the tackroom and can hold your helmet below.

Great quality
I have had two of these up in my barn for a year and they are great. When I bought them they were cheaper, and they have gotten much more expensive. To expensive for a simple saddle rack.
