Perfect for Child
I bought these gloves for my son who began riding this year. He rides in a heated arena but as we know they are not too warm for the horses so his hands would get chilled. I bought the red and black ones and they fit his hands perfectly. I got the "These are awesome Mom" so I know I did good.

I've been buying these gloves for years. They are perfect for year round riding in AZ. However, on the most recent pair that I purchased, the velcro closure was reversed on one glove. Not a big deal, but it should have been caught by quality control.

SSG all weather gloves
The gloves look decent and fit exactly to my husband's hands, but my husband does have smaller hand in men, so the "men universal" size might run small for men. It is not thick at all which might not be too warm during winter but its name explains: it's for all weather. It's a good buy overal.

Favorite Gloves
I absolutely love these gloves for everyday riding, schooling, and casual shows. My first pair lasted for years and always washed up beautifully. I am a woman with a wide palm, and I wear the Men's Universal. The thinly insulated version of these gloves are fantastic for winter too. Overall SSG gloves are really excellent.

Best Gloves, Hands Down!
I have worn these gloves for years, and I am never disappointed in them. They are truly an all-weather glove. Furthermore, they are durable beyond belief and wash/dry beautifully. I groom, muck, and ride in these gloves, and I have yet to tear a hole in a pair yet. After a couple of years, the surface of the palms begins to wear off, but that is to be expected according to how I abuse them. I keep one pair for everyday use, and one pair for show. If I lose a pair, it's no big deal because they are so affordable. These gloves are one of my "riding staples."

great everyday gloves
I have used these gloves for years! I really like them for everyday use, but I do prefer nicer leather show gloves. They don't have any tack to them which I wish they had a little.
Great everyday gloves, that hold up well, and last through several washes.

Very comfortable all-purpose glove
These gloves are as described. They're comfortable and look good and they're priced right. The palms might run a little narrow as I had to buy a large size to fit my palm and the fingers are a bit long. Otherwise it's the perfect glove for riding and they stand up well to stable chores, too.

they are worth spending a little more on - I lost one of my gloves and needed a new pair! I usually wear the crochet ones, but I like these ones a bit better, and hold up a bit better too.

My Favourite
After having my old pair of these gloved, and they started to rip in the palm after many of use. I was a little tentitive about getting the same pair of these because it seems that recently very good old prouducts that have changed for the worse and become very bad quality. But these have changed for the better. The palm is made of a new material, not sure what it is but it does it's just and the back is still nice and stretchy giving a near custom fit. I love them more than my last pair and so far these have survived 6 months. Very good glove to buy.

Great pair
These gloves are very versatile, good for any temperature. It has enough stretch so that when it gets really cold I can wear a pair of thermal glove liners underneath and the combination gives me warmth without interfering with dexterity.

Gloves That Last
I have been using these gloves for 17 years. The number one reason is because they last a long time. Other reasons I love them are because they are comfortable, they breathe(not unbearably hot),have lots of grip wet or dry, and the color lasts. I ride about 5 days a week now for about 45 min a day but when I was training I rode alot more and they held up well then. I have bought other brands which twisted in the fingers and came apart at the seams. These will last at least about a year with lots of wear if they are used lightly shoot they might last a lifetime!Also I like these for show too because they are cool,stylish and have lots of grip.Plus I hate to change things too much when I show. I like to use the same things I school in when I show.GLoves , boots ect.

best gloves out there
I use these gloves 5 days a week and only buy a new pair every other year. They are awesome! Even when the sueded grippies wear off after a year, they still grip better than other brand new gloves- even when wet. I would consider myself to have a large hand for a woman, but I wear a men's universal size, so be sure to pay attention to the measurements when choosing a size. These are hands down the best gloves out there and the only ones I use!

Every once in a while you find a product that completely satisfies you. You don't want any other kind so you completely skip that section when browsing your tack catalogs. That's how I feel about these gloves! I wear them exclusively, and they last and last and last! I hope they never stop making them!

They feel like you're not even wearing gloves
Love theses gloves! I never used to wear gloves because I had to take them off to do everything, until I found these. They don't get in the way of anything I'm doing. I've found that these gloves are universal. My hands are cool in the hot summer months and my hands stay warm in temps down to 10 degrees. They wash and wear nice. They don't shrink or stretch out; these gloves hold their shape nicely. I won't use any other glove when I'm out around the horses. Best purchase I've every made!!!

Comfortable, not durable
I am on my third pair of these gloves in a year and a half. They are extremely comfortable - I love the aquasuede fabric, but they don't last. Every pair I have owned ends up with holes on my ring finger (this is also true of another style SSG glove I have, which also has the aquasuede). As much as I like them, I will not be buying them in the future, as they simply do not "wear like iron" as the company suggests.

Fun and Fantastic
These gloves fit and wear well. I wash in cold water and drip dry; they look like new. Easily repaired if the stitching begins to wear. Plus they come in fun colors and patterns. We may have to show in conservative styles and colors, but at least we can have fun while schooling! In my neck of the horse world these gloves can be worn 3/4 of the year.
