Yes and ???
I really like the concept, however I have not figured out a simple way to slide a whole bale of hay in.

Easy to snare a whole square bale
This net fits easily over a large square bale. I cut the hay strings after snaring the bale. Durable net provides slow feeding with minimal waste.

Unsafe for horses with shoes if nets on the ground
First let me say the quality is top notch! They were exactly what I was looking for....a full bale, ground feeding hay net. I've had this product about 3 weeks now. However, one of my horses has shoes and he's been caught in the net twice now. First time was minor, a bit of net had caught and wedged in his hind shoe and he was dragging it behind. Luckily, I was standing right there and easily unhooked him. The second time, I saw him dragging the net into the pasture. Ran out and found he had stuck his entire front hoof inside the rope and had wound it so tight around his leg, it would not pry off. I had to flip the entire hay bale over and over about 8 times to release the twisted tension and then was able to get his leg out. The net was also wedged under his shoe and it took some force to pull it out. I've had zero issues with the 3 horses without shoes. I bought this type of hay net to have it set on the ground...I'm not strong enough to lift and hang a full bale. I'll say again, I thought the hay nets were very well made, they just won't work for a horse with shoes.....or hang them if you can!

I have a total of six of these and absolutely love them!!! They slide easily over a square bale and stand up to daily use. I've had 3 of them for two years and one of them just broke a string but only because my horse bit through it.
