Rated 5 out of 5 by MNGal from Gets the blankets clean! Works well to get the blankets clean and remove as much horse smell as possible. To have your blankets come out clean on the first wash I'd recommend removing hair and brushing off as much dirt as possible before washing. Additionally I'd use a slightly bigger machine to let the blanket tumble around a lot. If you do these couple things this blanket wash does stupendous! Obviously it's not a miracle worker so if you put a muddy, hairy disaster into a tiny washing machine your blanket won't come out spotless. I removed hair and dirt before washing and used a large front load machine at the laundromat for each blanket and I'm very happy with how clean it got my blankets in one wash. I will purchase again when my bottle runs out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SmartPaker Megan from Works Great! I decided this year to go with the SmartWorks Blanket Wash to clean my blankets before storing for the summer. Admittedly, I did not put them in the washing machine. Instead I used a hose head with a soap dispending attachment, filled it up with blanket wash, and gently scrubbed away all of the dirt and grime from the summer. I was impressed! The Blanket Wash has a lovely fresh scent, and my blankets were left as clean as they could be without being professionally washed, smelling great, still waterproof, and in excellent condition. My only regret is that I didn't think to take before and after photos of my blankets!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Ckp44 from Great product - does not affect water proofing I was hesitant to wash blankets myself thinking I would mess up the waterproof layer, but the reviews were so good I decided to give it a try. Definitely not disappointed! The blankets came out looking like new, I did have to wash one blanket twice because the mildew smell was really strong, hence the 4 stars. I promptly tested the sheet in an all night rain storm, and my boy was totally dry the next morning. Will be using it on neck covers next and buying more!

Rated 5 out of 5 by SmartPaker Jill from Year round staple for horse laundry Once you try this SmartPak blanket wash you will never launder your horse clothing and even saddle pads without it. A total staple in my laundry room. Blankets come clean and the "horsey" smells go away. I've used this on soiled white saddle pads and even they come cleaner than usual. It really penetrates to lift dirt and manure stains and the fresh smell it leaves behind is a welcome gift. Once you try it, you'll never go without having it on your shelf.

Being so small I decided to wash it on my own, This soap, omg, the blanket came out like NEW. When I returned it to the owner, she said the same thing and wanted me to send her the link to this soap. I don’t normally do reviews, but for this product I just had to.
