This halter features stylish triple stitching for a polished look, and the rolled throat latch helps create an even more refined appearance. Last but not least, the throat latch has an easy-to-use snap that makes taking it on and off a breeze.

Beautiful, quality halter.
I bought this as a show halter and had it shipped to the horse show. Everything was perfect! I can't imagine a nicer halter at any price. It came after about a week, including with the engraved name plate, and it was oiled and supple right out of the package. This is probably the 5th one I have purchased, including at least two as gifts. They last forever even in daily use at the barn, even hanging outside on the paddock gates in the rain and heat. Unless you want something cheap and flimsy, get this halter. I can't say enough good things about it, especially for the price.

Fabulous halter
I just got this halter in the mail. I bought one for my horse as I loved the one I got for my daughter's pony. The pony's is black and this is dark brown. It is so beautiful! I got it with a nameplate and it really looks nice. I feel it looks much more expensive than it was. It came well oiled and ready to go. I would definitely recommend this halter

Gorgeous Halter
I just received my halter, which I ordered with an engraved nameplate, and I am thrilled with it. It is beautiful quality, nicely oiled, and the nameplate is affixed perfectly to the halter. I've ordered halters and nameplates from other sources and had to find a way to get the name plate installed myself, so I was so pleased to see that SmartPak did it for me. I could not be happier with this product!

Great halter, great price!
This is my third halter of these that I have purchased! They are well made, good quality and pretty! They are extremely durable. I replaced one of mine this year due to other horses chewing on it, but if not for that it would have lasted much longer!

Nice Quality
I bought and returned the other SmartPak leather halter at a lower price point for this one. Excellent quality, pleased with the purchase. However, full MSRP seems a bit high (which is why I only gave it 4/5 stars). I was able to purchase at a 20% discount.

Halter is nice looking, but when I received it was still dripping wet with dye, which left red stains on EVERYTHING, including the shipping box, hands & clothes, floor of my car, and my white horse, despite several attempts to clean the dye off.

Decent quality
I purchased this halter in black for a dark grey horse and was disappointed when it arrived and had brass fittings. The picture for the black halter is a little misleading because the picture has a black halter with silver tone fittings. The quality of the leather was decent and sturdy. I called to exchange the halter for one that was black with silver fittings and I couldn't be happier with the customer service I received. I easily returned the halter and received the correct one a few days later. I would recommend purchasing the soft padded leather halter over this one if you want a softer, higher-quality leather and overall look.

I am VERY happy with my purchase! This halter is of great quality.It's absolutely gorgeous. The leather is beautiful and supple and the hardware seems very strong and durable. it was very easy to adjust because it wasn't too stiff. I bought this for my 2 1/2 yr old filly.This is her first halter of her own because I've been using hand me downs since she's grown so fast. I love it!!!

This is a really great quality halter! Soft, but strong leather and beautiful brass hardware. The clip on the troatvlatch is super supple and easy to use. I got the chestnut color for my red chestnut Hannoverian and it's gorgeous on him. He's usually a horse size so I bought the halter in a horse size and it fits well. I love that it came with the personalized name plate already attached so I didn't have to beg my husband to do it! Will definitely repurchase if my guy chews this one like he did his last halter....

Very nice leather, sturdy hardware. My 17.2h thoroughbred wears a horse size bridle with an OS browband. I got him a horse size halter and it fits him pretty well. The crown piece could be a little longer but everything else is perfect. I got a customized name plate and I am very happy with how it turned out.

Beautiful Halter
I love this halter. It is such a beautiful halter and the color is perfect for my mare! My mare spends most of her day outside with the halter hanging on the fence and even though it has been raining for the better part of this month it has not lost any of its original color. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone.

I bought this halter about a month ago but haven't started to use it yet a I am waiting for my horse's current halter to be ready for replacement. But the halter looks very nice. The stitching is good and the quality of the leather feels like halters I have seen that are much more expensive.

Fancy and practical
I bought this halter for my horse's 20th Birthday-- and I was not disappointed. It is a beautiful supple black leather and just a little fancier than the brown. I listened to the reviews and purchased the Cob size since it was described as running large--and it fits perfectly. Bhagyar is a 15.1 Dutch/Arab cross.
