Stretch and fall down after 3 rides
I bought these over a month ago for flatting. I was concerned about the sizing, she is a 14.2 pony with 10" front and 12" hind. After talking with a representative they said that the mediums should be perfect since these boots tend to run a little small. They were the tiniest bit big, but still workable. After 3 rides the velcro has stretched out horribly and the boots fall down so they either cannot be used or have to be adjusted mid ride. I absolutely would not recommend these if your horse is inbetween sizes, has small legs, or you plan on using them a lot. I guess you get what you pay for and next time I'll buy another set of higher quality boots.

Great schooling boots
My 16 hh TB wears these and needs only M for the front, but L for the hind.

Grieat product. Very protective for turnout
My horses were coming in from time to time with nicks and cuts and even a spur, from turnout. These sport boots were just the answer. Very reasonably priced and are holding up so well.

Awesome buy!
Bought these because my horse hates neoprene, and I didn't have a huge budget for sheepskin. Excellent quality boot for the price, my horse loves them, and they look great. 17H OTTB is wearing a large! Size chart is accurate. Would definitely buy again! Wish they came with black fleece so I could show in them!

Super comfy, great quality, and cute!
I bought these for my 16.2h bigger boned OTTB and the mediums fit his front legs perfectly! They are durable, easy to clean, and look adorable on him. They are also comparatively cost-effective and do a great job of protecting his legs. I'm also just not personally a fan of using leather/lambskin products if I can avoid purchasing them, so this is a wonderful option in leg protection for your horse!

love these for the price
I love these for the price, but for the largest size made I wish they were a little longer. I have a 16.2 hand warm blood and they could really be an inch longer.

I bought these about 3 weeks ago and so far I’ve used them a handful of times and love them. They fit my 15.3 hand thick paint gelding perfectly (mediums), easy to wipe off, very supportive, and they look very nice on. I would give them a 5 star rating but haven’t had them long enough yet to see if they hold up over time. Good job smartpak

Need to make them in in size SMALL
I bought a pair of the medium for our very solid large pony, based on the size recommendations, and unfortunately they are too big. I've decided to keep them and make due because the pony sized options available are really limited. If I could get them in a small though, the mediums would be more appropriate as hind boots for very large ponies or smaller horses.

Great Boot until you wash them
I purchased the white front boot two months ago for my Gypsy Vanner in a medium. I have been very happy with the fit for him and how the boots have held up using them 4-5 times a week. They run very large! The medium fits him perfectly over his feathers and swallows my 16 h TB who normally always wears a medium in boots. I washed them in the washer for the first time and sadly had some damage when they were done. The stitching is loose and some of the white coating is peeling off. Going forward I will probably hand wash these. I purchased these on sale and got a great deal. They do a good job while riding so I will repurchase simply because I struggle to find a boot for my Gypsy Vanner and these work for schooling at home.

Love them!
Finally some turn out boots that fit my 16.3 h thoroughbred! Large is usually too roomy and mediums are usually too small, so these perhaps run big but they fit him perfectly!

Save your money
Elastic is way too big, and when velcroed some of the strap hangs off. The stiching aslo doesn't last.

Update to my last review ... boots don't last
I bought these boots about 3 months ago. I use them on one horse approx. 5 days per week. They've all but fallen apart. They get normal wear but nothing out of the ordinary. The fleece interior wears down quickly and all the stitching is coming undone so the boots are literally falling apart. Yes, the sizing is way off on the hinds (far too big) but I could at least work with that. These weren't super expensive but I could have applied that money toward boots that would have lasted. I'm very disappointed in these boots.

Great for everyday flatwork/dressage
I bought these a while ago for everyday flatwork and they've held up nicely and are super easy to clean. I just scrub the inside and outside with soap and water (even the fleece) and air dry them and they come out looking brand new!

Amazing & Durable!!
I’ve had these boots for a while now and they go on my Grand Prix horse for schooling and hacking at home. He’s notorious for destroying boots and when I came to the barn with these new ones, everyone told me he’s gonna shred them when I ride. A few months later, there is absolutely no damage to them at all except for a few light scratches where they rub. Not to mention they look good too. Very pleased with these boots and will definitely purchase again if I ever need new ones.

Great boots!
Needed these for a dressage clinic recently. Was way too hot for regular wraps. Fit well, good protection, and washed up well for next clinic. Reasonably priced. Exactly what we needed!

Strange fit
I love the look of the boots and the price is right. Plus I got mine personalized with my mares name and it is adorable. However they are a little big even going with the smallest size and when putting them on, in order to get them snug enough I have to pull a little harder than usual and ut pulls the boot around too much and so I have to be careful not to shift them too much.

Nice but run big
From reading other reviews I was pretty sure they would be big and they are but they still fit my 15.2 h Arab gelding. If you made these in small you would have a million dollar item .my horse likes these far better than the neoprene boots I had. Easier to apply. So yes they are big but for the price they are awesome!!

Weird Fit
I think for the price these boots are decently made, but wasn't crazy about the fit. I bought the size my mare normally wears in her other boots and the front was slightly large and the back was slightly too small. I felt like if i went a different size they wouldn't work at all. These did there job for a good schooling boot

Nice sport boot for the cost
We have several pair at our barn at this point to the extent that we are customizing them so we can quickly identify which boots belong w which horse! Wash well. Sizing is only downside however. Large and Med Hinds are same height and only differ in circumference.

Eh
I bought these in front and hind boots for my horse to have on during turnout, as he likes to bang his legs on things. I like them, but they always come off during turn out and the velcro wraps too far around the leg to fully connect. He thought that the velcro not connecting was awesome and chewed the straps off the front ones. Would probably be fine just to ride in, but do not recommend buying these as turn out boots.

No durability.
About six months ago, I bought two fronts and two hinds while the buy-one-get-one deal was on. Since then, I have ridden in them maybe twice per month, typically for important lessons when I want to look fancy. I have washed them maybe once each month, but probably not even that often -- and starting around Christmas I thought that the stitching around the bottom edge of the faux sheepskin lining was looking weak. I didn't inspect the stitching more closely, though, and I should have done. The stitching has now completely come apart from the entire bottom edge of each hind boot!! Attached photos show the problem. My horse can interfere a little when he's being lazy, and I recognize that they were REALLY cheap boots even before the sale, but I can't deny how disappointed I am. I have used these boots maybe 15 times total, and I already have to re-stitch them myself (or hotglue them or something??). Next time, I'll make sure to buy higher quality boots. This is really unacceptable.

Great Boots
These boots are perfect every day leg protection boots. I made the switch from neoprene lined to fleece lined, and worried about the washability of the boots after use. These boots have held up wonderfully to weekly machine washings, air drying, and weekly use. The only thing I can't get off of the boots is the red paint from a cavelletti. I'll take what I can get! ;-) These are a great boot for the value, especially if you can get them when Smartpak runs their "exclusive to smartpak" sales. Totally worth it! I have a set of 4.

Nice and supple
I have had these boots for two years now and use them on multiple horses a day. They have held up great and clean up nicely after putting them through the wash. They are supple so they are not bulky and fit the horses legs well.

Sizing is off
Really like the quality and price of these boots, but the mediums are just way too big. I have a 15 hand horse and the medium fronts fit barely, but the hinds are too long. Would love if they came out with a size small as I have two other small horses I’d buy them for!

Great boot
Its hard for me to give these a fair rating since we have only used these once so far. My farrier, who is also a trainer, indicated that I should have these. I don't compete with my QH but I do lung him often. They are a good quality and 90% of my smartpak products are great. I think for the price they are reasonable.
