Great protection at a great price
These are substantial splint boots. My girl is a 17H, fairly big boned Thoroughbred. Medium for front legs & Large for hind legs. Fit perfectly and look pretty snazzy. They stay put for dressage & even for her learning to jump. Love these boots!!

Love the price, gave my horse bowed tendons
My horse loves to play in turnout and after a few years I decided to replace his turnout boots. I loved the price of these boots so I decided to try them. They kept slipping down and twisting when he was outside, so we had to make them a little tighter. The next day both his back and front tendons were swollen. Kept the boots off for a week to let the swelling go down and tried them again. Same result. I ended up throwing them in the garbage.

Nice gray boots
I was so excited to find sport boots in gray! These feel nice, not too thick or stiff. They are a little wide for my average 16h TB, so the front boots overlap a little but it doesn’t seem to be a problem. Good for everyday use and lessons.

Good deal
I've only used them on my horse twice, but the fit is good. How long they will last remains to be seen.
Would love to see them in purple. ;)

Good Boots
I bought these to replace another pair. They’re not as stiff as others I’ve used. I use these during cooler weather when my horse doesn’t sweat as much.

Reasonably priced and do their job
My oldenburg gelding is a big mover and ends up interfering behind. These boots are easy to put on, conform nicely to his legs and protect them well from bangs and nicks. The only downside is that I do have to replace them fairly frequently because he is hard on them simply due to his movement. Grateful for the reasonable price for that reason.

Easy on/Easy off...easy to clean!
My horse always needs sport boots for riding and turn out. Suffice it to say, I have lots of experience with various options. These boots have great velcro (very strong) and they are easy to get on and off. It is mud season in the northeast right now - a quick rinse and a wipe and they are ready for the next outing.

A very Smartbuy!
I bought these a month ago and have used them a few times. Really happy with the quality for the price point! These aren’t too heavy either. I previously returned some more expensive Eskadron boots because the faux fur was sooo thick there was no way my mare could wear them in the warmer months! These Smartpak boots are perfect and definitely keep out debris.

Great turn out boots
I bought two pairs of these, one for each of my horses. I use them during turnout and really like them. I have a young WB mare who is relatively chill outside but still gets slightly squirrely and an older TB mare who loves to run. These boots stay on both of the girls. I also like how simple they are for the guys to put on and take off the horses. They have also been holding up really well, and they do get beat up.

Good basic boot
I have a mare who insists on racing around the round pen at warp speed and knocking her legs together so I wanted something that would offer protection from these occasional knocks but not add much bulk. These are considerably thinner than some sports boots but actually provide a good amount of dissipation (tested on my own forearm). I got them on sale and would not have wanted to spend full price on them, but for what I paid I feel it was fair. So far they seem to be holding up just fine with just some light scuffs where she has rubbed. I have not had any issues with them slipping down.
The fronts seems to be extra long, meaning they overlap quite a bit, but the Velcro seems to fit in the right place. The back are almost too short, meaning the two edges just meet, but again the Velcro appears to be in the right place. I ordered cob size for my fine boned 15.3 thoroughbred.

Stretch and fall down after 3 rides
I bought these over a month ago for flatting. I was concerned about the sizing, she is a 14.2 pony with 10" front and 12" hind. After talking with a representative they said that the mediums should be perfect since these boots tend to run a little small. They were the tiniest bit big, but still workable. After 3 rides the velcro has stretched out horribly and the boots fall down so they either cannot be used or have to be adjusted mid ride. I absolutely would not recommend these if your horse is inbetween sizes, has small legs, or you plan on using them a lot. I guess you get what you pay for and next time I'll buy another set of higher quality boots.

Grieat product. Very protective for turnout
My horses were coming in from time to time with nicks and cuts and even a spur, from turnout. These sport boots were just the answer. Very reasonably priced and are holding up so well.

Awesome buy!
Bought these because my horse hates neoprene, and I didn't have a huge budget for sheepskin. Excellent quality boot for the price, my horse loves them, and they look great. 17H OTTB is wearing a large! Size chart is accurate. Would definitely buy again! Wish they came with black fleece so I could show in them!

Super comfy, great quality, and cute!
I bought these for my 16.2h bigger boned OTTB and the mediums fit his front legs perfectly! They are durable, easy to clean, and look adorable on him. They are also comparatively cost-effective and do a great job of protecting his legs. I'm also just not personally a fan of using leather/lambskin products if I can avoid purchasing them, so this is a wonderful option in leg protection for your horse!

love these for the price
I love these for the price, but for the largest size made I wish they were a little longer. I have a 16.2 hand warm blood and they could really be an inch longer.

I bought these about 3 weeks ago and so far I’ve used them a handful of times and love them. They fit my 15.3 hand thick paint gelding perfectly (mediums), easy to wipe off, very supportive, and they look very nice on. I would give them a 5 star rating but haven’t had them long enough yet to see if they hold up over time. Good job smartpak

Need to make them in in size SMALL
I bought a pair of the medium for our very solid large pony, based on the size recommendations, and unfortunately they are too big. I've decided to keep them and make due because the pony sized options available are really limited. If I could get them in a small though, the mediums would be more appropriate as hind boots for very large ponies or smaller horses.

Great Boot until you wash them
I purchased the white front boot two months ago for my Gypsy Vanner in a medium. I have been very happy with the fit for him and how the boots have held up using them 4-5 times a week. They run very large! The medium fits him perfectly over his feathers and swallows my 16 h TB who normally always wears a medium in boots. I washed them in the washer for the first time and sadly had some damage when they were done. The stitching is loose and some of the white coating is peeling off. Going forward I will probably hand wash these. I purchased these on sale and got a great deal. They do a good job while riding so I will repurchase simply because I struggle to find a boot for my Gypsy Vanner and these work for schooling at home.

Love them!
Finally some turn out boots that fit my 16.3 h thoroughbred! Large is usually too roomy and mediums are usually too small, so these perhaps run big but they fit him perfectly!

Save your money
Elastic is way too big, and when velcroed some of the strap hangs off. The stiching aslo doesn't last.

Update to my last review ... boots don't last
I bought these boots about 3 months ago. I use them on one horse approx. 5 days per week. They've all but fallen apart. They get normal wear but nothing out of the ordinary. The fleece interior wears down quickly and all the stitching is coming undone so the boots are literally falling apart. Yes, the sizing is way off on the hinds (far too big) but I could at least work with that. These weren't super expensive but I could have applied that money toward boots that would have lasted. I'm very disappointed in these boots.

Great for everyday flatwork/dressage
I bought these a while ago for everyday flatwork and they've held up nicely and are super easy to clean. I just scrub the inside and outside with soap and water (even the fleece) and air dry them and they come out looking brand new!

Amazing & Durable!!
I’ve had these boots for a while now and they go on my Grand Prix horse for schooling and hacking at home. He’s notorious for destroying boots and when I came to the barn with these new ones, everyone told me he’s gonna shred them when I ride. A few months later, there is absolutely no damage to them at all except for a few light scratches where they rub. Not to mention they look good too. Very pleased with these boots and will definitely purchase again if I ever need new ones.

Great boots!
Needed these for a dressage clinic recently. Was way too hot for regular wraps. Fit well, good protection, and washed up well for next clinic. Reasonably priced. Exactly what we needed!
