Nice girth, but the sizing is way off
As others had mentioned, this girth is sized very small. I bought a 48", which should have easily fit my horse, but was 2" too short to reach the 1st billet holes. Instead of exchanging for a bigger size, I returned & am waiting for the memory foam SP girth to arrive.

Great Quality for Schooling
I have a pony in a therapy barn who needed to go up a size in a girth. This girth does the trick! Seems well made, but they’ve only been using it for a week or two so I’ll have to check back in to report on it’s longevity. But overall, good buy for the price point.

Nice girth, worth the money, definitely runs short
Loving this girth so far, it seems like it will hold up well, it's a nice thickness and definitely worth the money.
Like other reviewers have said, it runs SHORT. I needed a 48" so I sized-up to a 50" based on other reviewers, but I probably could have gone with a 52" so make sure you size up!

Fabulous Girth for the price
I bought this girth to replace an Ovation fleece girth because my mare
gained weight (& muscle) & I got a different saddle with shorter billets. We buy nearly all our horse related items from SmartPak so decided to buy SP brand. My only complaint is the SP girth although 2" longer is NOT longer than the Ovation fleece girth. Which is disappointing since I needed the extra 2". I recommend buying one size bigger. I have only been using the girth for 2 weeks so I can't speak to the durability.

Doesn’t slip!
Comfy, less sweat And doesn’t slip!! My new gelding is built so that girth’s tens to slip back onto his chest & belly. This girth, along with a breast collar, works wonders! Really like the ring for attachments, too. Highly recommend!

Check sizing
I had to return it- I ordered a 46” but this was way too short - a scant 45” from tip of buckle to tip of buckle. Even with elastic at both ends there was no way I could buckle it. This is the second one with the same problem- but I used the other on a different horse so can’t return it. It seems very nice but I can’t use it.

Issue with sizing
The quality seemed good for the price, however I ordered a 56" which was the same size as a leather girth I ordered from another dealer, but the SmartPak girth was too short. I had to return it and find a 58" similar style from another dealer.

Not as fluffy as the other brands, but it will still work the same. Hopefully it won’t collapse like the other SmartPak girth’s.

My mare likes tgis girth
My mare can be a bit girthy with a elastic end leather girth so I decided to try this one. I noticed a difference. Having elastic on both ends makes birthing easier when she bloats. I bought a second one so I could use one while washing the other. I've only had them for a few weeks so I cannot comment on their durability.

Returned Girth
I bought this girth about 4 weeks ago. My horse approved but returned it do to the billet buckle rusting underneath the roller. I was very surprised. Called SmartPak who exchanged it for a different brand and reported it to quality control. I did find that the girth is stretchy but that did not effect its usage. As my said it was horse approved. This could have been just this one.

Bought 2 and loved them at first
Ordered two of these girth’s and thought they where great when I received them. However I’ve only had them a few weeks and was just at a show where it rained. The girth’s where never left out in rain. Only got damp from what water got through the saddle to them and they rusted...... I have other girth’s that are 5 years old that aren’t rusted.
