The tough 1200D ripstop exterior is made of RePET®, a fabric created from recycled plastic. Each sheet saves approximately 315 water bottles from going into a landfill! This sheet features a unique cut that is specially designed to provide an ideal fit for Quarter Horses and other stock breeds with a broader shoulder and hindquarters, a cutback wither, and a shorter drop. The sheet still has all the features and dependability you know and love about Deluxe turnouts, with the added bonus of being better for the environment. Its uncompromising quality and construction include breathable waterproofing to keep your horse warm, dry, and protected, silky nylon lining that's smooth against his coat, comfortable fleece padding at the withers, generous shoulder gussets for freedom of movement, and a roomy tail flap. Quick-clip front closures make taking this sheet on and off a breeze, and combined with cross-belly surcingles and nylon/elastic leg straps, provide a secure, adjustable fit.

Nice, substantial sheet!
I spent some time on the phone with Courtney (from SmartPak) debating about the correct size. My horse measures 75, but he is a very stocky built QH with a very wide butt and chest. Courtney suggested going with the 76, which I did. It fits him perfectly! The only criticism I have of this sheet is that I wish the tail flap was longer to provide more coverage. I also purchased the neck rug (in a medium) and it fits great, too--very nice coverage! I love the clips on the sheet at the chest and leg straps--so much easier than buckles! Very happy to see sheets/blankets specifically for stocky horses! Definitely happy with this purchase, and have already recommended it to a couple of friends!

Not enough drop, short in length
Odd sizing. The sheet definitely is not what I would say a true fit for a stocky horse. Disappointed.

Fits well
My horse wore this blanket 10 times and unfortunately I had to return/exchange it. The Velcro that held the front closed started to rip off. The Velcro did a great job keeping the front closed but the stitching was too close to the edge. Smart park was willing to exchange it for the same one and I am hoping the stitching holds because this turnout fits my quarter horse well. The rest of the sheet is well made. Just too expensive to have Velcro rip do soon.

Waste of money
They leak and the D rings for the neck cover come off the blanket very easily. The sewing is defective and no hardware is reinforced.

Don't waste your money on this sheet.
I LOVE SmartPak sheets and blankets, the Ultimate ones with the 10 warranties at least. This is the first Deluxe one I've gotten because it was on clearance and it was a stocky fit and their old stocky fit ones fit my quarter horses perfectly. Anyway, I got this sheet on January 21st, had it on and off my horse since today (January 31st) and the white piping has been totally and completely ripped off the blanket. I have no idea how this happened since the part of fabric that ripped off was in the middle of 2 other pieces of fabric. This horse isn't particularly hard on blankets, he's had an Ultimate one for 2 years and it isn't showing any wear and teat on it. Also, the sheet didn't appear to be compromised at all the night i put it on, and hes in a stall with a run by himself so no rough housing occured. I'm going to continue to use the sheet since it doesn't seem to be severely compromised, just the piping is gone, but I'm going to be surprised if it lasts the rest of the season. I was initially happy with the quality and fit of the sheet, that's the only reason why I gave this 2 stars and not 1, but I'm only going to spend my money on their Ultimate line of blankets and sheet from now on. I'm just glad I bought this blanket on clearance so I didn't have to pay the full price. I've been trying to add the pictures that I took of the damage but the website keeps saying the files are too large too add.

Nice Balnket BUT....
I think this is a quality blanket for a reasonable price. I was impressed by all its features and it fits my horse well. Unfortunately, it's lass than 2 weeks old and I'm having issues with a chest buckle that won't close .
