I bought two of these for my horses several months ago. 1) No rips or tears so far. 2) Better coverage than other more expensive flysheets I have purchased. 3) Stays centered, no sliding off to one side. 4) Bellyband straps are short enough to keep the fabric tight to the belly, so my mare can't get her back legs caught in the fabric when she's kicking at flies. My gelding is a little thinner. I had to tie the back bellyband strap in a knot so the fabric wasn't hanging down. His legs are long enough that he caught his leg in the bellyband of a different brand flysheet and ripped it apart. 5) Pull tabs on all Velcro closures. Great idea! So much easier to get the Velcro apart, rather than trying to stick my fingers in between the Velcro to pry it apart. 6) Extra Velcro buckles/straps, on the detachable neck cover to keep the cover securely in place. Nice long Velcro strap that attaches to the fly mask, also has a pull-tab. 7) Great idea to make the Velcro closure on the front of the sheet like a clamp. The one side fits in between the two Velcro flaps, which hold both sides of the front in place. No pulling apart behind the buckles, as the sheets normally do. 8)Last but definitely not least, the Geometric pattern definitely does keep the flies off. They may land on other areas of the horse, but not on the flysheet itself! I definitely recommend this flysheet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by HRRCO from Good sheet, not for horses in a herd! I got this at the beginning of the season and it just didn't hold up to group turnout. I usually go for the Ultimate Fly Sheet for the warranty and will go back to that. This is a great light sheet, but not at all durable and the front closure can be a bit of a pain/isn't adjustable. Did a great job protecting from the sun and flies didn't even land on my mare. I ordered two of these and my mare in a run without other horses is doing fine in hers.

Rated 1 out of 5 by eabobeck from Terrible closure design- do not buy This sheet has a front closure that is not adjustable. There is a sandwiched velcro closure. From day 1, the interior velcro comes unattached leaving scratchy velcro to run against the horse's skin. This is a really terrible and welfare poor design. I would return this sheet if I could. The cost is too high to have significant design flaws such as this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by hankypoodle from Love this fly sheet! I bought this for my sensitive OTTB who has been breaking out in hives horribly and is sensitive to the flies. I thought he would be too hot or irritated, but I LOVE this sheet so far! He has stayed cool and happy and his hives are gone! I’m sure once it rains, it’ll be a different story- but thrilled so far! It also has a loop at the top- I put it through his fly mask so he doesn’t rip that off as well and it’s been doing the trick!!! No more ninja moves and losing every fly mask 😂

Rated 4 out of 5 by Wonderbud21 from Awesome Sheet!! Flies have been bamboozled! I bought this for my horse a couple months ago cause he was getting chewed up by bugs. Ever since I bought this he has had no more bug bites anywhere on him. I haven’t seen any flies landing on him either, they have officially been bamboozled!! The only complaint I have is that the anti-rub material located on the neck cover and shoulders is nowhere to be seen on the tail flap. Because of this, a nice chunk of my horses tail has rubbed off. I have ended up cutting off the tail flap to prevent it from rubbing off any further. I do hope Smartpak will add the anti-rub material to the tail flap and butt area in the future. Other than that, great product I will recommend to others!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by TMcMahon from Bad Head “Trip” for flies! Lol I’ve been using this sheet on my QH mare who is sensitive to biting flies. Surprisingly, it seems to be working fairly well. Flies don’t seem to want to land on it! Time will tell as to it’s durability, but so far so good. Happy with my purchase!

Rated 5 out of 5 by cheri from LOVE THIS SHEET! I've had a lot of trouble finding any sheets that fit my Friesian. This one fit perfectly - true to size. The neck cover is just a little small for him but still works fine. The material is soft even though it's a mesh. What I really like is that someone finally put some thought into a sheet - the closure at the front is perfect - NOT buckles! The belly cover is built so it's secured with only 2 straps and won't end up hanging down despite the usual THREE straps to keep it on. Tail cover is nice and long. The material is really light and my horse looks very comfortable in it. LOVE IT! Thank you for the great design!
