Best fly mask I've owned
These check all my boxes. Light weight. Cool. Cover the ears. Forlock hole. I have Icelandics and their forlocks are HUGE and poofy. So forlock holes are a must. They stay on mostly, but they can get any fly mask off. So if they can get any fly mask off, I choose these. Easy to wash in a machine, and dry in a dryer.
There's just ONE thing I dont understand about ALL of these stretchy bug eye masks. NO matter where you buy them. Why do the eyes and ears alway have to be black? It absorbs heat from the sun. Why not use white or silver or any light color?

Don't do it!
RUBS THEIR FACE SO BAD! The ears run very small and my mare who used to live in a fly mask because of eye problems and has never once pulled on off has gotten this off multiple times.
She has only worn it a out 5 days and the hair is rubbed off the front and sides of her face where the seams are. Highly recommend looking for another option!

Great quality
This just came today and I love it already. My OTTB had a big giant draft head and the OS fits great, my only complaint is the ears, they don’t quite fit his giant donkey ears but with some adjustments in how it’s placed on his head I got it to where it shouldn't rub them. The mesh over the eyes is stiffer than other brands like it and so far seems like it won’t fold in on his eyes.

Great Fly Mask!
This fly mask is perfect for everyday use with horses who are good with their clothing. I bought the horse size for my small size horse and it fits good but if you have a horse who loves to roll of the mask i would recommend sizing down as these masks are very stretchy. The color is beautiful (light eucalyptus). The eyes are very roomy and the forelock hole is awsome!

Good fit, keeps flies out of my horses eyes
I was looking for something to keep the flies off my mare when I am working with her. It was important that I could see her eyes and she had something small on her face. Besides it looks quite sweet on her.

Great Fly Mask!
I absolutely love this fly mask! It’s incredibly soft and seems to be very comfortable for my horses. The fine mesh around the eyes has a good shape to keep the mesh off the horse’s eyes. I also love that this fly mask has an opening for the forelock! This fly mask fits true to size. My cob sized horse fits perfect in the cob and my standard sized horse, fits great in the horse size as well. I’d recommend this fly mask for anyone with a sensitive horse who prefers a softer fly mask!

Easily torn
My senior gelding wore this for about a week. It fit him so well and it never fell off in the field. Unfortunately it tore pretty easily and he can no longer wear it. I assume one of the youngsters in his herd is to blame.

WANT to love it

Great Fly Mask!

Great comfort, Wish it lasted longer!
I generally love these as they provide a better mesh for vision (in my opinion) than others. However I go through about one of these every 2 months in summer . The Lycra stretches and despite keeping it clean and washing it, it ends up becoming looser and looser over time :( For moneys sake, I’ve switched back to the velcro ones that are the more robust mesh, but less visibility for the horse.

So far so good!
I was a little worried about this fly mask at first. My horse has been killing his recently and it’s mainly the Velcro that dies. Since this one is Velcro free I figured I’d give it a shot. He’s had it on for almost a month, I haven’t had him get it off once while out to pasture and it’s still in good condition.

Bought this because my horse has to wear a fly mask 24/7. It did fairly well for a couple weeks but then one of the ears ripped off.
But to be fair he lives in a wooded pasture with no stall time

Cute, Comfy, and Lasts!
My mare is a habitual destroyer of fly masks. While she LOVES to have them on, within days there normally are holes and tears…kinda defeats the purpose of the whole thing. For the first time, we’ve had a mask last for more than a week! The fit is perfect and I really appreciate the large, structured mesh eye covering so it pops up and around her eye and stays that way. We have 95+ days in the high desert but I have yet to see her left sweaty when taking it off. The pattern is adorable and the price is right. Will be buying a few extra “just in case”. Bravo SmarkPak!

Nice improvements
I have bought the original design that didnt last long (less then a week). Things I like about new mask Bug eyes, much better material and stays away from horses eyes. EARS also a better material then on older style of this mask BUT MAKE THEM BIGGER! Velco on to to secure to the hauler. FORELOCK opening. Overall a comfortable fit. THINGS TO IMPROVE Make those ears bigger. Just an average horse ears barely fit in and I had to get Kensignton mask for my floppy eared kid. I think the same velcro strap that you have on a top would be good for the nose band to secure to the halter or bridle if you use mask for riding also. Overall a very nice improvements and a good mask for the price

improved design
Love the new design but find the fit runs smaller. Mesh is heavier and stays away from the horses eye. There is also fleece betwee the eye mesh and mask. My horse has worn the "horse" size for years but this year find it is very snug and the ears are not long enough. will move up to the oversize

Mixed feelings
I bought a couple of these masks a few weeks ago. I love the colours and the light, cool design. I love the spacious pockets for the eye area and the mesh for the ears. However, my horses easily take them off; I think they lasted about a day before they started taking them off constantly. I tried using the velcro tabs on the poll area to tie them, but they ended up tearing the tab off completely somehow. I think part of the problem may be that the mesh for the ears is a bit small, and my horses do not have proportionately large ears. The masks are also quite torn up by now, so I don’t know how long they will last.

Great fit, great price, great colors!
I love these fly masks. I bought different colors for each of the horses. They fit perfectly - on a quarter horse head and a thoroughbred head. The eye mesh is great. It is a little stiff which holds it off the eye. I bought the oversize one for our Quarter Horse gelding who does have a big head. They go on easily, but my horses have kept them on all day. I will definitely buy more of these fly masks.

Horses like it and leave them on
These have surprised me. Fit well, both allow me to slide over face, like the opening for forelocks (a must have for my Paso Fino). My houdini gelding has not gotten this one off yet and my mare has pulled it off only 2x on very warm days. Other masks come off within hours. My only complaint is why black eyes and ears?? Sheep/deer flies and green heads are attracted to black so they are currently swarming their ears and eyes (not biting but still annoying them) and its much hotter.. White or light grey would be such a better choice plus cooler.
