Worked great for us!
Our Haflinger can't keep a mask on -- he's always rubbing it on trees, rocks, etc. This is the only one that has been "natural" or low profile enough he hasn't been annoyed by the velcro, etc. For $12 , order multiples. These masks are great. The horse size fit our larger headed Haffie just fine.

Has a lot of potential!
Great potential. Unfortunately sizing is a little funky. I originally bought an oversize for my quarter horse with a huge jowel, and it fit almost perfect around the eyes. Plenty of clearance. The ears were a tad big but nothing crazy. Definitely outlasted the other standard type nylon flymasks with halter tag but since it was a tad baggy it eventually succumbed to it's fate with two mouthy boys. I had purchased two horse sized ones for my gaited horses with no jowel but the horse size was too small for my quarter horse and even on my second smallest horse smoothed his eyes a bit. Horse size ended up fitting my smaller girl that would typically wear a cob size. If there was an in between oversize & horse using the oversized eye pockets it would be about perfect as perfect gets. I love the soft material around the eye seams and the lightweight material tp keep them cool
But definitely needs a couple modifications before being my go-to.

Bad fly mask! It won't stay on and the holes in the ears are too big and flies got in and they were all bleeding inside

fly mask flimsy
Bought 3 of these fly masks last year. My horse is very bug sensitive and is almost devoid of hair in her ears, so bugs bite. I cut the eye pieces out for 24/7 wear 8 months a year. The ears are way too small on the warmblood size and wore the hair off on the tips of her ears which did not grow back over the winter therefore scarred. The material is very cheap. This year cut the very tips off mask but caused the material to unravel. Won't be buying again. Gave 3 stars bc cheap so bought 3 on sale & worked & stayed on & in place except for her hair being rubbed off. .

Stayed on for all of five minutes
May work for normal horses; does not work for idiot horses who like to remove their clothes. The ears were also rather small and difficult to put on.

Super fit!
The SmartPak Comfort Fly Mask w/ SmartCore Technology is an amazing value! This mask is great quality for the price and the fit is unbeatable. I love that the material over the eyes is constructed to truly sit away from the eyes. All of my horses find this mask super comfortable, and therefore, leave it on! I also appreciate the UPF 50 and added forelock hole. I always have a few of these on hand to rotate through when I am washing fly masks, too!

The only mask I’ll buy now!
I have bought about 10 of these masks by now and keep them all in rotation based on season (color) and which need to be washed. They are great quality and they fit perfectly. I love the mesh material they use for the eyes, it is a thicker material that stands away from the eye. The material of the mask itself is very soft and seems to be very durable, I wash these masks after a day or two of use (only 3-4 hours of turnout) and have yet to have a rip or tear.
For reference, my horse is a 21yo Appendix gelding 17h with a bit of a smaller head for his size but huge ears. The Oversize fits him perfectly, enough room for his ears but not too large for his smaller head.

Waste of money - insufficient eye material
I bought this because it has a forelock hole and the photos looked like the mask would fit well. However when I got it, the eye part does not leave enough room for my horse's eyes and his eyelids and lashes rub on it! Which is confusing because other photos look like they have ample material in the eyes. And as others noted the ears are small. I am so disappointed, I hate buying junk and then having to throw it away.

Great but had a key flaw for my horse
I love the materials and netting - esepcially the netting for the eyes-it is fine gauge and stiff so won't fall into the horse's eyes. The problem is that the depth of the netting around the eye holes was too shallow. The eyelashes of my horse popped through the netting. What a disappointment. Hope Smartpak can refine the sizing on this product. Otherwise it is nicer than others on the market.

Didn’t fit my horses eyes right
The fabric between the eye openings was too thick between the eyes so the openings were rubbing right up against and almost blocking the eyes. I tried it on another horse and it didn’t fit that one either. This needs more narrow fabric between the eye openings. I’ve used other brands of this type of Lycra fly mask and have been happy with them which is why I ordered this thinking they’re all the same. Very disappointed in the fit.

good
good material. runs a bit small. eyes are a bit too close to the head and could rub eyelashes on horses with bigger eyes, i cant speak on durablility as ive only used in the trailer for shipping.

Love these for my show horses but the ears are a bit short for the Horse size. Trying oversized this time around. Don't think they are durable enough for horses that live together but for those in the barn they are soft and easy to put on. Just suggest making the ears much longer!

Love the fit around the eyes and cute patterns
I've used a lot of different types of fly masks over the years and I've decided I really like these pull on types. No Velcro to get nasty-dirty or get torn off, no rubbing off or dulling of facial hair because of the soft stretchy fabric.
I've been using the WeatherBeeta stretch mask, which I still like/use - that one has roomier ears. The SmartPak version has more shape to the eyes, which is why I like this one. The SmartPak one also comes in more colors and patterns. The horse wearing this mask usually wears a cob size halter/bridle and the cob mask fits her well. Her ears fill the ear mesh all the way to the end, but it works (her ears aren't particularly small).

Best fly mask I've owned
These check all my boxes. Light weight. Cool. Cover the ears. Forlock hole. I have Icelandics and their forlocks are HUGE and poofy. So forlock holes are a must. They stay on mostly, but they can get any fly mask off. So if they can get any fly mask off, I choose these. Easy to wash in a machine, and dry in a dryer.
There's just ONE thing I dont understand about ALL of these stretchy bug eye masks. NO matter where you buy them. Why do the eyes and ears alway have to be black? It absorbs heat from the sun. Why not use white or silver or any light color?

Don't do it!
RUBS THEIR FACE SO BAD! The ears run very small and my mare who used to live in a fly mask because of eye problems and has never once pulled on off has gotten this off multiple times.
She has only worn it a out 5 days and the hair is rubbed off the front and sides of her face where the seams are. Highly recommend looking for another option!

Great quality
This just came today and I love it already. My OTTB had a big giant draft head and the OS fits great, my only complaint is the ears, they don’t quite fit his giant donkey ears but with some adjustments in how it’s placed on his head I got it to where it shouldn't rub them. The mesh over the eyes is stiffer than other brands like it and so far seems like it won’t fold in on his eyes.

Great Fly Mask!
This fly mask is perfect for everyday use with horses who are good with their clothing. I bought the horse size for my small size horse and it fits good but if you have a horse who loves to roll of the mask i would recommend sizing down as these masks are very stretchy. The color is beautiful (light eucalyptus). The eyes are very roomy and the forelock hole is awsome!

Good fit, keeps flies out of my horses eyes
I was looking for something to keep the flies off my mare when I am working with her. It was important that I could see her eyes and she had something small on her face. Besides it looks quite sweet on her.

Great Fly Mask!
I absolutely love this fly mask! It’s incredibly soft and seems to be very comfortable for my horses. The fine mesh around the eyes has a good shape to keep the mesh off the horse’s eyes. I also love that this fly mask has an opening for the forelock! This fly mask fits true to size. My cob sized horse fits perfect in the cob and my standard sized horse, fits great in the horse size as well. I’d recommend this fly mask for anyone with a sensitive horse who prefers a softer fly mask!

Easily torn
My senior gelding wore this for about a week. It fit him so well and it never fell off in the field. Unfortunately it tore pretty easily and he can no longer wear it. I assume one of the youngsters in his herd is to blame.

Great comfort, Wish it lasted longer!
I generally love these as they provide a better mesh for vision (in my opinion) than others. However I go through about one of these every 2 months in summer . The Lycra stretches and despite keeping it clean and washing it, it ends up becoming looser and looser over time :( For moneys sake, I’ve switched back to the velcro ones that are the more robust mesh, but less visibility for the horse.
