Great fit, great price, great colors!
I love these fly masks. I bought different colors for each of the horses. They fit perfectly - on a quarter horse head and a thoroughbred head. The eye mesh is great. It is a little stiff which holds it off the eye. I bought the oversize one for our Quarter Horse gelding who does have a big head. They go on easily, but my horses have kept them on all day. I will definitely buy more of these fly masks.

Horses like it and leave them on
These have surprised me. Fit well, both allow me to slide over face, like the opening for forelocks (a must have for my Paso Fino). My houdini gelding has not gotten this one off yet and my mare has pulled it off only 2x on very warm days. Other masks come off within hours. My only complaint is why black eyes and ears?? Sheep/deer flies and green heads are attracted to black so they are currently swarming their ears and eyes (not biting but still annoying them) and its much hotter.. White or light grey would be such a better choice plus cooler.

Great fit
I have been using this for a month now to see if my horse would tolerate it. The gnats love his ears and this has helped greatly! The only fault I can see is the way it sits over his eyes. The darts cause this to touch his eyes no matter how much I move it around. It was trashed in the mud last week and washed out very well!

Do not stay on :(
I bought 4 of these for each of my horses. I absolutely love that there is no velcro to deal with...BUT...They do not stay on. As soon as the horses lay down to roll they come right off :(
I think the material is great and I really wish they would stay on because I don't enjoy dealing with velcro, especially once it becomes muddy.

Nice improvements
I love the improvements done with the mesh over the eyes since I had to stop using my last one due to it sitting too close to my horse's eye as these masks weren't really sized for warmblood head shapes. I will say I still think the sizing is a little off as the ear mesh seems ever so slightly too short in addition to the spacing of the ear holes being kinda weird. The ear part sits strangely on both of my horses and while one is fine with it the other one keeps rubbing the mask off his ears (still keeps it on though). Most horses in my barn have this fly mask and it fits some perfectly and others not so much. Smartpak has been great about fixing the things on this mask that needed it so I'm happy to keep purchasing each iteration as the price point is great and I have faith they'll sort out the sizing issue eventually too.

pretty color but poor quality
The color and pattern are very pretty. The fabric however leaves much to be desired. In two days my horse has managed to get it off four times because it didn't fit well even though he is a quite standard size "horse" head. The fabric shredded easily. Zero stars for durability!

Almost perfect
I have purchased several masks of this type from other companies. Set of the iMesh was always to close on my Percheron quarter horse cross. This mask has a lovely large mesh eyepatch is that clear my horses prominent eyes very well. Unfortunately the ears are too small for her ears. They are probably about a half inch short for a good fit.

I will purchase more!
It’s a great price, fits well. Some reviews said the mesh gets in their eyes. I did not have that experience. It’s a stiff mesh that gives plenty of room (maybe SP updated the mask this year). It does run small. The horse in the photo is 15.2hh and always wears a horse size, which is what I got but it’s snug. I imagine it would be too small for a warmblood type. I’m not sure how it will hold up yet.

Good sizing
Of the 3 or 4 fly masks I've bought from SmartPak, this is the first one that isn't stupidly huge and actually stays on the horse's face. I would give 5 stars but I don't think the 5th time should be the charm for buying the correct sized fly mask, especially when they were all SmartPak brand and labeled as cob sized.

needs upgrading
I have bought a few of these because I do love the colors, forlock hole for my Halfie, and the sun SPF feature, but, the ear fabric tears very easily and the face fabric stretches out too quickly. The area over the eyes lays on top of the eyelid which is a big flaw. I'm hoping Smartpak will give these an upgrade in quality and size.

Stays Wet
The mask itself works well. It does fit my warmblood a little strange around his eyes. The main issue is that it gets wet in the morning dew and stays wet for the day. We ended up taking it off in the morning because my horse is prone to hair loss and fungus. Other than the drying feature the mask worked great for my horse.

Didn't last long!
I really wanted to like this flymask. It was affordable, worked great, fit my small quarter horse fantastic (cob size mask). However, it lasted 1.5 days. We take it off in the evenings, so she only wore it from morning to evening 1 day, and morning to afternoon the next day before the entire left ear unraveled and came off! Disappointed, because it fit her so well, and helped keep her eyes covered (she has eye cancer).

Extra Comfortable Fly Mask
I got this fly mask for my horse Duncan, because he sometimes gets turned out with his halter on over his fly mask and he was getting a really bad rub on his nose, so I wanted to get him something that was a softer material. This mask definitely did the trick! I love how stretchy and soft the material is. I also noticed that Duncan doesn’t really sweat in it even on super-hot days because of the breathability and moisture wicking components. I found that when the flies got completely unbearable this summer, I could actually put this mask on under Duncan’s bridle and ride with it. It honestly made such a difference in his head shaking from the bugs and the mask stayed in place great our whole ride. Another great thing about this mask is how easy it is to clean, when it gets dirty I just throw it in the wash on with my other horse laundry and will even put it in the dryer and it always comes out looking brand new! Duncan has a pretty large head (normally wears an oversize halter), but I got the horse size in this mask and it fit him great. The stretchy material really helps, and it was super easy to slip right over his face. I would definitely recommend this mask to anyone looking for a more comfortable and breathable option for their horse to keep protected against the bugs.

Not for my horse
My horse thought it was scary to put on. The eye darts kind of rub the brows and seem uncomfortable. They come very close to rubbing the eyes themselves. It also did not fit well with a halter. Overall my horse was not impressed and neither was I. I’ll give points for it being lightweight and the eye darts holding their shape well though.

Small Fit, not for large horses
It seems like a nice mask, but is not cut for larger horses. I have a 17hh OTTB. Its tight across his forehead, to the point that the mesh eye holes are tight against his eyes.

Love to see my horse in this because I know it keeps his eyes and ears free of flies, gnats and mosquitoes. And he looks so cute in it! I read that the pattern also helps deflect bugs, for some reason, they don't like the pattern.

Do not get wet!!!
I bought two of these fly masks and I loved them at first. Easy to slip on and doesn't cause any rubs on the horse. Everything was great until one of my horses pulled his off one day in the rain and the next day when I went to go get it, it was completely disintegrated. Covered in holes and barely hanging on by a thread. Then a couple days later the same thing happened to the other one. I have bought these kinds of fly masks before and never has this happened to me. Very disappointed in this one

Much better than expected
I purchased two of these masks. When they arrived I thought they wouldn't last long because I questioned their quality. But they are holding up well. The horses like them and haven't taken them off. I particularly like the eye covering. They are big enough to allow plenty of space around the horses' eyes. They are also very easy to get off and on. I would buy them again.

Have two that my ponies are wearing. Have been wearing for three weeks and still intact

Nice, sleek look
I've had this style for my mare for about a week now. I love the look of it and how the stretchy part fits. The eye bubbles aren't centered over her eyes, so usually there's part of the top of the bubble that's touching the top of her eyes, no matter how I try to tug it around. I like the design and how easy it is to put on and off and how it has a forelock hole so forelocks don't get all yucky underneath the mask. I also like the length and how much of the face it covers. My mare has been wearing this 24/7 for about a week now and seems comfortable in it, but every few days I have to go find it because she lost it. However, I don't know if she's rubbing it off or if the other horse is pulling it off of her. She's not one to lose her masks very often, but I've only ever had the Velcro under the jaw style before. The material is thin and soft, but so far seems to be decent quality. I suppose it all depends on your horse which style of fly mask to get, but I wouldn't rule this one out.
