Heavy Duty Fly Mask!
I've gone through several different fly masks and the SmartPak Classic Fly Mask is by far the most durable! My mare is the destroyer of fly masks and loves to share her hobby with neighbors as well. Not with this fly mask! I love the XL Velcro closure which is strong and the Velcro does not get weak! The maintenance for this mask is simple, I hose it down and leave it out to dry. The fit is also perfect, my OTTB mare is always between a horse and a cob size. I ordered a horse size that fit her but I think she would also fit in a cob as I still have Velcro room in the horse size. Overall, great fly mask and it has lasted me 2 seasons!

Excellent protection
I love these flymasks. They fit so well, provide so much coverage. Look attractive and provide excellent protection to our amazing retired thoroughbreds.

Great fit and durability
I have purchased several of these masks. My mare has yet to figure out how to remove them and they fit well, doing the job they were intended to do.

Love ease of on and off with the wide velcro strap
Love the ease of on and off with the wide velcro strap. Fits very good in cob size on my mare with her pretty Arab head.

Best Fly Mask for Mischievous Horses!
My horse, Kimchi, and his neighbor are habitual fly mask shredders. It has taken me a long time and many, many purchases to find a fly mask that will last longer than just a couple of days with these two troublemakers and this one has passed the test! I love that the Velcro strap is super wide, making it difficult for him to slip out of. I am very impressed with the fit of this fly mask.
Additionally, I got it embroidered with my horse’s name on it and it looks amazing! I can’t believe how affordable this fly mask is for its quality. Overall, I am incredibly pleased with the quality, price, and durability of the SmartPak Classic Fly Mask. If you have a horse that tends to slip out of its fly mask or has a mischievous neighbor who likes to rip them, I highly recommend giving this fly mask a try!

Ear was ripped within 2 weeks
The fly mask is nice, but the material that covers the ears is not durable what do ever. Ripped to pieces within 2 weeks and my horse and his pasture mate are very docile.

horse can't see through fabric
Last summer I wrote and very positive review saying that the fly masks were very durable and stayed on my Houdini mare. Bought 2 more this year for my other 2 mares. Took one off to shake out. Looked through it and found if in the shade ok, but if in the sun sight is limited. Looking toward the direction of the sun (not directly at the sun) I was almost totally blinded. Did not put the mask back on her. Bought a thinner mesh riding fly mask by Cashel. Removed the Smartpak classic fly mask from another mare and put on an old Cashel classic. Looked through the Cashel and sight was acceptable.

Broke in two days
I just put the fly mask on my horse and on day 2, the velcro strap totally separated from the mesh. It now just dangles under his chin. Very disappointing.

What I Needed!
I have only had this mask on my horse for a few days (she already tried to take it off, too), but it's been holding up well! It's held its shape & the velcro is strong. It is a little big on my tb though but that was my sizing error.

Not Impressed
I bought like 5 of these fly masks and used them this season. Not a single one of them made it through the season. They are all ripped, especially the ears. They do not hold their shape, so they don't stay awake from the horse's eyes.

Quality & value.
I like these masks, except my horse tears the ears every time. It's nice to have soft ear fabric, but it doesn't hold up. I've been making new ears and sewing them onto the masks until the whole thing needs to be replaced. Yes, I'm that cheap. But I'm a seamstress, and the rest of the mask is still viable. So, I repair them because I can.

Not recommended
1) the mega wide Velcro is obnoxious to work with
2) within a couple days the mesh ripped away from the trim. Awful quality.

great if your horse has no forelock
This fly mask is great value for money. The ones I bought lasted two summers with 24/7 turnout--unheard of for a fly mask! My one complaint is that there's no hole for your horse's forelock. I ended up having to cut holes for my Haflingers' thick forelocks. Because of this, I won't be buying them again now that they're (finally!) showing serious wear. If your horse's forelock isn't that thick, though, this is a great value!

DESTOYRED in 3 days!
I loved these masked. They used to hold up well. Bought one this year in the orange coral color, had it embroidered and everything. My horse DOES NOT destroy blanket and they normally last a long time. Not this fly mask. It lasted 3 days on my horses face before some how it was ripped to shreds. Part of it looked like someone took a box cutter to it. Very disappointed with this since I spent the extra $10 to get it embroidered. My horse currently needs to have a mask on 24/7 due to headshaking syndrome

Sturdy
This fly mask has wide Velcro fastener, and seems to be heavy duty. I only wish it was softer material, instead of stiff mesh.

Nice fly mask
This fly mask is made of a nice flexible mesh material and plush fleece around the edges. I think it is more comfortable than the flymasks that I've used for years (from a different manufacturer) and may be easier to keep clean.

I bought this maybe two months ago and everyday I would arrive and it would be off of my horse's face because of the weak velcro! I washed it maybe 3 times and the velcro wouldn't even stick anymore.

Outperforms Noble Outfiters Guardmand fly mask
Earlier this year I broke down and bought and expensive Fly mask for my horse that’s normal good at keeping things on his face. Well, that mask lasted not even 24 hours before it was off and the Velcro was a mess. I bought the Smartpak fly mask on sale with free embroidery. This mask has far Outperformed the expensive one by months. super SOFT, LIGHT weight, and the Velcro is very nice. Will definitely buy another one when they go on sale again!

Great deal on a nice flymask
These are very nice fly masks. Comparable to more expensive versions. I do wish there was a hole for the forelock but other than that, a great value!!

Strange fit around ears
I bought two cob sized masks for my Arabian and Rocky Mountain horses. There seems to be too much distance between the ears, so the masks pushes down on the part of their ears near the forelock. My Arabian tried to rub his off and my mare just seemed uncomfortable. I'm going to try to alter them so they fit better. Otherwise, the masks seem well made and the velcro is extremely adhesive.

Well made but rubs my mare's face
This mask is very sturdy and stays on very well. However it has given my mare two small rubs just below/behind her ears on both sides. It may work well for other horses though- she has sensitive skin, is out 24/7 so wears a mask 24/7 and in Florida is constantly sweaty and rolling in sand. All factors that contribute to rubbing I'm sure. I still use it for trailering and days when I am washing/drying her other mask (a cheap Farnam mask that shockingly doesn't rub at all).
