Sizing is far, far too small
My pin headed horse that usually has a sagging issue with most cob sized products barely has three inches of room to attach the velcro closed
I've rated this as a one because this is not up to smart pak's usual standards. And they are only barely usuable due to the small size
Being horse people they should be able to compare their sizing to cashel before selling the product
If you purchase buy the bigger size.

It came with ears but the ad says without.
Ad says without ears but it came with. I cut them out. The eye is a little too flat on his face so I’m not sure if it’ll work.

Fits all my horses!
Very happy with this. Bought one for each of my 3 horses, each with a different shape head, and the fit was great on each horse. And so far they stay on. Just wish they weren’t made in China

Poor stitching
I bought 2 masks last fall to be ready for this fly season. They are nice but one of them had defective stitching on the velcro on the cheek piece. The velcro is very wide and strong yet the stitching to attach it is pretty flimsy. It's a shame because everything else is very nice. I don't see them lasting very far into the season. After 3 days the velcro strip is already separating. You might think about reinforcing the stitching in the future.

Decent fly mask
This fly mask does run a little large but personally I don't mind it for my horse. It gets the job done and seems comfortable for him. I do wish it had a forelock hole as I've noticed his forelock is getting rubbed a bit thin, so I swap between this mask and his Farnam one to try to cut down on that. This mask also really doesn't hold up well to repeated washings. The first few washes it came out great but now the stitching is coming undone and the trim around the ears is almost entirely gone. Aside from that I do like it and it's a decent price so I'll probably continue to buy. Would like to see improvements in it in the future though.

Easily Comes Off
I love the quality of this fly mask but unfortunately it won’t stay on my horses head very long. He has an average Quarter Horse head and we have not experienced this problem with different, and cheaper, fly masks in the past. I’d return it but doubt it’s possible after using it a couple weeks unsuccessfully.

Huge Disappointment
I will not buy these again. I run a boarding facility and urged each boarder to purchase one of these with free personalization due to the great reviews. Many did. Having the names on each mask looks very professional and is easy to identify. After the first washing, a lot of the stitching came undone on one mask. I reported it to SmartPak and it was replaced but now almost all of them have some sort of problem related to the stitching coming out. Not only around the ears but even the jaw strap. The velcro on one of the jaw straps is actually shredding. I wash all of the masks the same way. Close up the velcro so they don't cling together. The Cashel masks wash great with no problems, year after year. I will be repairing the SmartPak masks at no charge when I can because I feel guilty recommending a product that has been such a disappointment.

Good not great
I have bought several of these because I liked the price and the colors of trim. They do seem to hold up well but I would prefer if they had a spot for the forelock to pull through. The horses always come in with their forelocks smashed in their eyes or worn thin.

Great product. Fits well and the wide Velcro strap is nice. My horse wears a cob size so it’s a challenge finding fly masks that fill his face well. This one fits perfectly.

Love it but one issue
I really like this fly mask, it feels very comfortable, fits well, attractive, and sturdy, etc. My only issue is the fact that it does not have a hole for the forelock. I have Gypsies and they have a LOT of forelock to deal with. When you have them made again you might want to consider adding a forelock hole.

Great fly mask
Fly mask has good coverage. Runs a tad large. Cob size fits my normal sized horses well (including both a QH and a warmblood). Horse size fits my larger horse who is borderline between full size and oversize bridle size. Like the Velcro closure. Seem duable, but haven't had them long enough to know that yet.

Favorite mask
I bought this ahead of the fly season. I had the same one last year and it’s been my favorite mask of several brands. It got lost for a while and sadly it was out of stock so I could not reorder it last year. Now I have a back up, and my original one. It’s in great shape, fits well, is not easily pulled off by neighboring equines and is well made.

Great fly mask
Bought this mask last year on clearance. Reviews said it ran large I didn’t find it overly large and wished I had bought 2 more for the three horses we own. I bought 3 new ones this year and they ran a little smaller . We have a small quarter horse old fella kinda pony sized fits well . The other two are normal horse size they fit well . The mask is nice , has soft fabric on ear and nose area nice mesh on eye area. The nose area doesn’t rub either it’s very soft. The trim is light blue , navy or silver. The Velcro tab is very large and provides a secure fit it stays on! They wash well in machine and hang dry . I got the one without ears my horses are annoyed by the ear cover and will rub them. I just use a little Swat ointment there. I’m very happy with these fly masks and I’ve used just about everything out there.

Excellent quality!
Love this fly mask! Soft around the ears and jawline to prevent rubbing, great quality Velcro, easy to use and clean. Does run a little big, the cob size fit my girl perfectly, she usually wears a horse size bridle. The embroidery is beautiful and she hasn’t been able to take it off. Highly recommend!

So pleased!
I bought this fly mask over 3 months ago - took advantage of the free embroidery. It has held up wonderfully for my horse who spends upwards of 2 hours/day 6 days/week in a paddock. The velcro closure is wide and easy to close AND open. Other masks would deteriorate around the eyes: not this one! Material holding up great!
