Rated 5 out of 5 by SmartPaker Ali from The perfect everyday pad! I have had the SmartPak Canvas Work Pad for going on three years now and it is by far my favorite day-to-day pad. The size of this pad is perfect as I sometimes train in my show saddle which has a larger skirt than most work saddles and the durability is unmatched. I have ridden in this pad multiple times a week for years now and have had no issues with the durability and it only shows signs of wear on the leather pieces, showing that they are doing their job! This pad is also super easy to clean and I usually just brush it off after rides. If I know my horse will get really sweaty, I will sometimes add a liner to keep it from getting super wet and have had no issues with it slipping or moving at all. You cannot beat this pad for the price and durability, I will certainly be buying again in the future if mine ever wears out.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Midwest from Nice pad but too slippery This is a nicely made pad, so I'll give it stars for that, but whatever the fleece is made from is so slippery on my horse's back my saddle slides all over. Never had this issue with another western pad. I also find that because of this, it really pushes on my horse's withers even though I pull it up into the gullet before I get on. Seems like a good value but just isn't working for us. ☹️

Long enough along the spine that my saddle doesnt hang off either the front or back edge. Cheap enough that I wont feel bad tossing it and buying a new one down the road. Will definetly buy again.

The pads look sharp on our horses and are easy to keep clean. We use them daily and they hold their fill. They still look brand new after months and months of use! We get compliments on the pad wherever we go and HIGHLY recommend them!
