Fits my boy really well

Size Up for a Stocky Horse
Read the other reviews and sized up for my QH. He normally wears a 72 and even the 75 is a little snug in the shoulders. Otherwise it fits like a glove. My only complaint is that it needs some fleece at the withers, it rubbs the mane there after several hours of wear. My black gelding has stayed cool under it in 80 degree weather with only a little sweat around the shoulders. Compared to similar brands sheets I like this one better because the sides are longer and it does not slide.

Hardy but the horse runs hot!
I bought this sheet after it was clear that my horse is allergic/very agitated by fly bites. It is hot where I live, so any cover on a horse is expected to cause heat but I could not use this during the day - only at night. The material is not porous like I thought it would be. However, it is very good quality. The stitching is strong and the material seems like it will hold up for a long time! Also very easy to clean off with a hose and light scrub.

This item is great
I have used these sheets all this year for my boys in SC that have bug allergies. I had one of the previous version (2 years ago) and with many repairs, they made it through the year. When the new version came out, Smartpak made good on the 3 year guarantee and replaced 2 of the sheets at no charge. This is the first year I used them and believe it or not, they have held up very well. I did do a couple of repairs but am very happy with the durability of the material they are made of. They are put away for the winter but I will be pulling them out again at the first sign of bugs in the spring. Thanks Smartpak for a great product and standing behind what you sell.

Great Airfow
I bought two of these fly sheets at the beginning of the summer and now that fly season is coming to an end, I feel like I can give a full review. I am very particular on my fly sheets because I do not want my horses to get hot in them. The great thing about these is they can be out in the sun all day and my horses don't get to hot. Also the mesh part is super strong and I had no tears all summer! I love all the features it has and thought it was a fair price for it. Now the downfall is about a month ago the colored lining on the sheet started to come off on one of them and once that comes off the mesh starts to unravel. Now the same thing is happening to my other one also. They are great fly sheets, but for the price I paid I am upset it only lasted one summer. I recommend finding something else and spending an extra $100 so you can at least get a couple years out of them.

Love this bubble wrap!
My new horse has a biting bug allergy and this blanket has saved him. He's so bothered by the flies, that he immediately stands quietly as soon as I put it on. He seems to do ok wearing it in triple-digit heat if he's in his stall with a strong fan on him. With this blanket, the SmartPak Kensington leg wraps and a spandex fly mask, he's comfortable while the other horses clearly are not.
I bought it late in the season; so, there was only an 81" available and he usually wears a 76-78"; so, it's a little long (head to tail) on him. However, I felt ok buying this size because he's very round and I saw the other reviews on shoulder rubbing. Even being a little big for him, it has held together, stays straight on him and does the job. I'm impressed with how durable it is because he's been itching/rubbing all over. It's amazing you guys have a 3-year warranty on this blanket...I'm so impressed!

Best Fly Sheet I've Ever Bought!!
I bought this fly sheet just under a month ago, and my horse has been wearing it every day since. It doesn't even have a snag in it! It still looks brand new (minus the dirt from rolling in the mud, of course.) I have always bought Rambo fly sheets (and spent a lot more money!) just to have to replace them the next year. I am super impressed with this fly sheet and will definitely be buying one for my other horse (who is currently wearing his ripped Rambo that I bought earlier this season).

Not the best fit, but a good fly sheet
I bought this because of the 3 year guarantee. My horses seem to know how to destroy a fly sheet in a matter of weeks. This one has only been on a month and is doing great, but it does snag when my horse gets itchy before I can get him brushed. The fit isn't real great and I have noticed flies flying inside the blanket on his back because it doesn't lay flat on him. There is about a 2 inch gap on his back. At least it isn't ripped up yet! That's the plus side for sure.

No air flow
Smartpak was kind enough to send this as a replacement for a flysheet that my mare shredded after 1 week. We just happened to be in the middle of a nasty heatwave and I came out to the barn to find my mare drenched in sweat from head to toe. It’s a fine sheet but no air flow. I’m pretty positive that I wouldn’t buy another like it because of that reason.

Very good Fly sheet, but a little hot for Fl
I bought this for my pony, and a 69 fit him perfectly. He is shaped like a quarter horse, about 14.1, and it only rubbed his shoulder minimally. I am happy with the fit and the protection against flies, but it's still a bit too hot for Florida. I keep my horses out as much as possible, they have a lot of shade in their pastures, and he sweats a ton with this on. The only issue I had with the durability of the material is the velcro straps did NOT hold up to vigorous rolling in the pasture, but of course, Smartpak had that covered with their guarantee, and when I couldn't keep the sheet together anymore they promptly sent me a new one. For this reason I will always buy Smartpak products when available.

Does the Job!
I am so happy I bought this fly sheet for Coin, my Appaloosa. Those big blood sucking flies were eating her alive and then regular flies would land all over her to eat the blood. She was miserable and it made her very angry, rude, and mean, to me and the other horses who were strongly ignored by the flies.
She was very still and cooperative as I dressed her in her lovely new two piece outfit. The open weave kept the flies out and
let the breeze blow through. Luckily I already had a turn out harness on her, which you MUST have to fasten the fly sheet in place.
When a little girl came out to ride for the first time I removed the fly sheet to saddle her and there was not a mark on her! I attached a lead to the harness and helped the child mount and Coin was as good as gold.
After a little while I removed the lead and the little girl rode Coin by herself and Coin was WONDERFUL!
After the ride I unsaddled her and put the fly sheet back on her and turned her out, as happy and sweet as she used to be before the flies came.

Great fit, all the features
Been using this for a month and so far it's held up great. It fits well - neck is long enough, doesn't rub, belly is covered and mare seems to like it. I've washed it once and it came up like new. It has chest clips (better than buckles!) and gives great coverage. Seems strong without being stiff.

Good sheet
This is a good sheet. I love the warranty with it which is why I bought it owning a 3 year old OTTB. However, it causes run marks on her chest, hips, and belly. Customer service was great and exchanged for a bigger size but it is still rubbing her and I can’t leave it on her long at all.

Perhaps I should try another size, but disappointed in this sheet. Too narrow in his chest. Rubbed his shoulders in just one use. Not really a fan of the material. Was really hoping to finally find a sheet that fits. I guess I would still recommend it...might work for someone else.

Beautiful fly sheet, but
It just didn’t fit well. The neck opening was too large so the sheet slid back putting lots of pressure on the point of the shoulder, a sure indicator of future rubbed hair. I returned it.

Seems pretty durable the past couple of weeks
I bought this a few weeks ago after a previous fly sheet had broke.
My favorite features:
-breathable
-sturdy
-the belly band
-the tail flap as a elastic band to tuck the tail through which can be a hassle but I feel it’s helping keep the sheet in place.
-I love the color on my horse(purple).
-has a halter strap on hood (can say much about it as I have never used it).
-The 3 year warranty offers me assurance in case anything were to break.
My least favorite features:
-I feel the neck could be a few inches longer on my horse (16.2 TB)(I bought a size 75) the body and all straps fit great though.
-The velcro closure straps for the neck seem to be of a lower quality then the rest of the blanket and I think they may stop sticking by the end of the summer season.
- The fly sheet it’s self was the most expensive one I’ve ever bought, but I figured it may be worth it with how fast other sheets seem to break.

Pleasantly surprised!
I bought this to replace my horse's second (or maybe third) Kensington fly sheet. She is a confirmed sheet and blanket destroyer, preferring to be naked through fly season, rain, blizzards, etc. As much as I would like to leave her as she pleases, she was having horrible reactions to fly bites this year, even though she's been fly sprayed, is on a garlic product, and I use fly predators and manage manure. I saw this sheet several months ago and thought, no way will it stand up to her "product testing". But, as her fly bite reactions increased and her old sheet looked even rattier, I finally caved and ordered this one. I ordered her usual SmartPak size, and it seems a little tight in the chest. The neck cover fits well, but the little Velcro halter tab was a waste- it wouldn't stay attached to her halter/grazing muzzle, so I cut it off. I like the belly band a lot and it seems well-proportioned- often, they're too large for my horse. And, believe it or not, the sheet has NO snags or tears in it, after a month of constant use! My horse also has no rubs from wearing it 24/7. I will likely be purchasing another, because I know nothing lasts forever, and I like the three year gaurantee!

So Far So Good
I bought this fly sheet because of the 3 year warranty. My horse is really sensitive to bugs and needs to wear a fly sheet all summer. I usually only buy the cheap ones because they are so easily ripped. So far this fly sheet is holding up great and I'm really happy with it. I felt ok about spending a little extra on it because SmartPak offered their warranty on it. I had to send back an Ultimate Turnout under the warranty and SmartPak was so easy to work with and they quickly sent me a replacement. I know if anything happens to this fly sheet, SmartPak will be there.
This fly sheet fit true to size. It came with leg straps and a tail cord so that you can use whichever one works best for your horse. I also noticed that this fly sheet is cooler than my other ones. My horse is much less sweaty in this sheet than her old one even on really hot days. This is really important to me because my horse doesn't have the option of not wearing a fly sheet.

Awesome fit and light weight
I bought this flag sheet a month ago. I’m very happy with it. It seems to breathe well, still hot in our hot Texas days, but the lightest I’ve found. It fits my cutting bred (broad chested) quarter horse very well, not riding back even wearing it all day.

Great fly sheet, not a good fit on lg Friesian
It's well made and I like the weight. I sized up from an 81 to an 84. It still caused rubs on his chest so I he can't wear it. I was out of town and just found out today, so will be calling Smartpak to see if they might be able to do something on it even though it's already worn. He has an oversized front end shoulder/chest/girth configuration. It's probably fine for a more standard build, and it is a very nice quality fly sheet.

Great Features and good value
I have used the SmartMesh Ultimate Fly Sheet and so far, it has been great. The design, materials and closure findings are all well done. The sizing ran large for my horse, even though I followed the measuring guidelines. SmartPak made it easy to exchange for the next size smaller, which is a good fit. Time will tell how it holds up, but so far, I am very pleased with this purchase.

Only sheet my horse doesn’t destroy!
I bought this last year and she did rip it after about three months, previously she destroyed every fly sheet within a couple weeks! I emailed customer service and they sent me a new one very quickly and that one has lasted the rest of last year and is holding up this year! Definitely recommend it’s comfortable not too hot and definitely worth the money

Great Idea Poor Execution
I love that this fly sheet has a three year warranty, and is the reason that I purchased it. Unfortunately after one use the sheet has rubbed my horse raw even with proper sizing. The material is very stiff and rough which I am assuming makes it more durable, but it was not good for my horse. The breathability of the sheet is not great either. Even when turning out my horse early in the morning, he is dripping in sweat within the first hour of being out, even though my horse does not have a thick coat.

Works very well
I purchased this after another horse owner showed me theirs. I really like that the stomach area is protected. Front closure works great with Velcro and snaps. Tail cover area is very generous. All around great fly sheet. LOVE the guarantee!!

Excellent Quality and Price
