It rubbed my horse
My poor horse got really bad rubbed marks from this fly sheet. I would not recommend this after what happened to my horse.

Absolutely love it!
I have struggled a little finding a well made fly sheet that’s not going to over heat or rub on my horses and this one is the perfect one! love all of the features on it and it’s the perfect material, doesn’t rub or over heat. perfect price too, plan on getting one for my other horse!

Nice Sheet
I have been using this sheet on my gelding for a few weeks now with the huge deer flies we are having. So far it seems to work good, the only thing I would change would be the velcro piece to hold the neck piece in place with the halter, it's way too long, otherwise, this sheet is holding up pretty well

Great Value (If it Fits)
I purchased the Ultimate Fly Sheet because of the warranty. My horse is very hard on light blankets. It looked like this one would hold up forever!! Unfortunately, the belly band hung too low and I was very afraid that my horse would go to scratch his stomach or roll and get a foot caught in it. The sheet is so tough I couldn't imagine he would be able to get it out without a serious injury. So, sadly, I returned it.....I am clicking that I would recommend this product though I only recommend it if it fits really well!

Super protection
I have a halflinger that is allergic to flies and a quarter horse that gets sweet itch. I ordered fly sheets for both horses and it has made such a difference! Both horses love them. The quality is great! We like them so much 7 of the horses in our barn have them now.

This is the Best Fly Sheet I've Met!
This is the best version of airflow, protection, and (so-far) tough seeming material I have found on the fly sheet market. It is surprisingly strong feeling fabric for how lightweight it is. It is easy to put on for the barn, and fits my horse well - seems true to size for him. I'm very happy I tried it and hope it holds up!

Excellent fit
This is by far the best well designed fly sheet that I have ever owned. All the bells and whistles have been checked for me. My horse is comfortable and very well protected without being hot. My horse takes an 82. As the size was not there, I went to an 84. great decision. Fit so perfectly, that I needed no ajustments.

Would buy again
I really like this one so far. The neck is detachable but structured enough that it stays up and provides nice coverage with several sturdy attachment points. The sheet it self is quite sturdy and fits well. The material seems like it will be a more breathable option in the hotter more humid summers we have in texas. My only complaint is that I will likely end up cutting the nylon lining out of the shoulder for heat relief.

Really nice fly sheet
Fits my tall skinny OTTB really well. Lightweight mesh should keep him nice and cool throughout the summer while keeping the flies off. Very similar to weatherbeeta comfitec ripshield plus, which I've used before, but better price and you can't beat the 3 year warranty. So far it's held up well, but haven't used it much yet since it's been a cool spring.

great quality material, design details and appeared to fit well. Unfortunately, it badly rubbed my horse across his chest in just two days! Might work for some appears to be a great quality sheet but can't protect if they can't wear it. Hard to tell before it's too late to return

Size Up for a Stocky Horse
Read the other reviews and sized up for my QH. He normally wears a 72 and even the 75 is a little snug in the shoulders. Otherwise it fits like a glove. My only complaint is that it needs some fleece at the withers, it rubbs the mane there after several hours of wear. My black gelding has stayed cool under it in 80 degree weather with only a little sweat around the shoulders. Compared to similar brands sheets I like this one better because the sides are longer and it does not slide.

Hardy but the horse runs hot!
I bought this sheet after it was clear that my horse is allergic/very agitated by fly bites. It is hot where I live, so any cover on a horse is expected to cause heat but I could not use this during the day - only at night. The material is not porous like I thought it would be. However, it is very good quality. The stitching is strong and the material seems like it will hold up for a long time! Also very easy to clean off with a hose and light scrub.

This item is great
I have used these sheets all this year for my boys in SC that have bug allergies. I had one of the previous version (2 years ago) and with many repairs, they made it through the year. When the new version came out, Smartpak made good on the 3 year guarantee and replaced 2 of the sheets at no charge. This is the first year I used them and believe it or not, they have held up very well. I did do a couple of repairs but am very happy with the durability of the material they are made of. They are put away for the winter but I will be pulling them out again at the first sign of bugs in the spring. Thanks Smartpak for a great product and standing behind what you sell.

Great Airfow
I bought two of these fly sheets at the beginning of the summer and now that fly season is coming to an end, I feel like I can give a full review. I am very particular on my fly sheets because I do not want my horses to get hot in them. The great thing about these is they can be out in the sun all day and my horses don't get to hot. Also the mesh part is super strong and I had no tears all summer! I love all the features it has and thought it was a fair price for it. Now the downfall is about a month ago the colored lining on the sheet started to come off on one of them and once that comes off the mesh starts to unravel. Now the same thing is happening to my other one also. They are great fly sheets, but for the price I paid I am upset it only lasted one summer. I recommend finding something else and spending an extra $100 so you can at least get a couple years out of them.

Love this bubble wrap!
My new horse has a biting bug allergy and this blanket has saved him. He's so bothered by the flies, that he immediately stands quietly as soon as I put it on. He seems to do ok wearing it in triple-digit heat if he's in his stall with a strong fan on him. With this blanket, the SmartPak Kensington leg wraps and a spandex fly mask, he's comfortable while the other horses clearly are not.
I bought it late in the season; so, there was only an 81" available and he usually wears a 76-78"; so, it's a little long (head to tail) on him. However, I felt ok buying this size because he's very round and I saw the other reviews on shoulder rubbing. Even being a little big for him, it has held together, stays straight on him and does the job. I'm impressed with how durable it is because he's been itching/rubbing all over. It's amazing you guys have a 3-year warranty on this blanket...I'm so impressed!

Best Fly Sheet I've Ever Bought!!
I bought this fly sheet just under a month ago, and my horse has been wearing it every day since. It doesn't even have a snag in it! It still looks brand new (minus the dirt from rolling in the mud, of course.) I have always bought Rambo fly sheets (and spent a lot more money!) just to have to replace them the next year. I am super impressed with this fly sheet and will definitely be buying one for my other horse (who is currently wearing his ripped Rambo that I bought earlier this season).

Not the best fit, but a good fly sheet
I bought this because of the 3 year guarantee. My horses seem to know how to destroy a fly sheet in a matter of weeks. This one has only been on a month and is doing great, but it does snag when my horse gets itchy before I can get him brushed. The fit isn't real great and I have noticed flies flying inside the blanket on his back because it doesn't lay flat on him. There is about a 2 inch gap on his back. At least it isn't ripped up yet! That's the plus side for sure.

No air flow
Smartpak was kind enough to send this as a replacement for a flysheet that my mare shredded after 1 week. We just happened to be in the middle of a nasty heatwave and I came out to the barn to find my mare drenched in sweat from head to toe. It’s a fine sheet but no air flow. I’m pretty positive that I wouldn’t buy another like it because of that reason.

Very good Fly sheet, but a little hot for Fl
I bought this for my pony, and a 69 fit him perfectly. He is shaped like a quarter horse, about 14.1, and it only rubbed his shoulder minimally. I am happy with the fit and the protection against flies, but it's still a bit too hot for Florida. I keep my horses out as much as possible, they have a lot of shade in their pastures, and he sweats a ton with this on. The only issue I had with the durability of the material is the velcro straps did NOT hold up to vigorous rolling in the pasture, but of course, Smartpak had that covered with their guarantee, and when I couldn't keep the sheet together anymore they promptly sent me a new one. For this reason I will always buy Smartpak products when available.

Does the Job!
I am so happy I bought this fly sheet for Coin, my Appaloosa. Those big blood sucking flies were eating her alive and then regular flies would land all over her to eat the blood. She was miserable and it made her very angry, rude, and mean, to me and the other horses who were strongly ignored by the flies.
She was very still and cooperative as I dressed her in her lovely new two piece outfit. The open weave kept the flies out and
let the breeze blow through. Luckily I already had a turn out harness on her, which you MUST have to fasten the fly sheet in place.
When a little girl came out to ride for the first time I removed the fly sheet to saddle her and there was not a mark on her! I attached a lead to the harness and helped the child mount and Coin was as good as gold.
After a little while I removed the lead and the little girl rode Coin by herself and Coin was WONDERFUL!
After the ride I unsaddled her and put the fly sheet back on her and turned her out, as happy and sweet as she used to be before the flies came.

Great fit, all the features
Been using this for a month and so far it's held up great. It fits well - neck is long enough, doesn't rub, belly is covered and mare seems to like it. I've washed it once and it came up like new. It has chest clips (better than buckles!) and gives great coverage. Seems strong without being stiff.

Excellent product
