Horse loves it!
My horse has moderate TMJ, since switching to this bridle, she no longer pulls and shakes her head. She is much happier to ride now!

love the adjustability
This bridle is the best I've ever purchased for my horse! She goes better in it and seems so comfortable in it.

A nice upgrade
This bridle has a lot of padding and contours for the head that my 15.2hh TB mare seems to appreciate. Her measurements put her in the cob size but it's almost too small for her, so if your horse is on the cusp, size up. It took us a couple of weeks to get the caveson sized right - it doesn't lay flat on the sides but if we tighten it to allow for that, it's too much pressure for my mare to be comfortable. Presumably as the bridle ages, this will soften some for a better fit. She's poll sensitive and seems to really like the gentle contoured fit at the ears. I'm not a fan of the nubs that connect the bit to the bridle but considering the challenge it was to open them up to install the bit, I don't think I'm too worried about them casually popping off as some reviewers have reported. I've not had the bridle long enough to speak to its longevity - fingers crossed that it holds up!

The crown piece is worth it. Taking the pressure off the nerves is essential.
How can we ask any horse to perform when they are distracted by pain?

Not at all durable
I bought this bridle over a year ago. The leather is lovely and the fit is nice. It is not at all durable. The cheek pieces have broken 4 TIMES and the dee holding the Noseband broke once. Schockemoehle replaced the parts but I am done using it after it broke this last time. Every time they break either while lunging or if the horse pulls back literally at all while being led, they snap in half. For the price, I expected much better quality than what this one has been.

Nice bridle
Love the leather and look of this bridle. My horse is a 17.2 hand draft cross and has a very large head. He always wears an oversize in bridles. The oversize in this bridle is almost too roomy. The only piece that ran a little short on him was the flash. That only made it to the first hole.

Didn't Fit Well
First off, this bridle is beautiful - just what I was looking for. Sadly, though, neither the full or the oversize fit. The full size fit great, except the crown piece was way too short. So, I ordered the oversize and the crown piece fit perfect - however the rest of the bridle was too big. Unfortunately, I will be sending both back.

Stunning Bridle
This bridle is GORGEOUS! I wish I had a better picture. The leather is soft and amazing unlike some of the other anatomical bridles I’ve considered. It definitely feels like a luxurious leather. I had no troubles adjusting the bridle and nothing comes apart like some of the other reviews mention. The description says it does not come with reins, but mine did! 100% Satisfied with this purchase.

Nice quality leather and pretty, but not excited
This bridle is beautiful, but I am not a fan of the attachments from the leathers attached to the bit to the cheekpiece/crownpiece... They attach by a cute 'button-nub' (similar to a hook closure but without the hook). If you are leading the horse and you find yourself in a position the rein pulls sideways, the leather pops away from the nub leaving the horse with the bit (potentially/probably) falling out of its mouth. My young horse was particularly jumpy when I bought her: I lead her around the ring prior to mounting, and what I described happened 3 times. Not safe or cool After discussing this with some trainers, we decided to use black electrical tape around the nub closure (because I had already invested in this bridle). Since I taped, the bridle has not come apart. I just can't put my recommendation on this design because of safety.
