Cheaply made
I know these are cheap half chaps, but I buy them because they are synthetic/vegan and there are few options.
Pros: These look good and feel good. They are also super cheap.
Cons: These are hard to zipper from the get go (due to the design). The zippers are cheap and sticky. The zipper gave out after less than a year of being worn a few times a week on a single horse.

Great everyday chaps
I bought these as an everyday chap. The only catch is that they run small in size. The large fits me perfectly from day one (whereas I wear medium in other brands). Make sure to measure and use the size chart. Good value for the price

Look Nice, Age Very Poorly
These half chaps looked fabulous.... until the zipper broke 3 months in! I really did like the look and feel of them. They looked just like tall boots unless you looked closely. However, the zipper completely fell apart in one spot (the little nubs totally separated from each other on both sides) and I was no longer able to zip them up. I expected a lot more than 3 months out of them. I've had other brands that have lasted a couple years, and I only replaced them because they looked worn, not because of loss of functionality!

PERFECT
I bought 2 pairs of these 5 years ago and they have just now given up. I bought my new pair and they arrived last week. I love the stretch these have as they can mold to your leg. I'm short and these are the only smalls that don't just go way past my knee and are super uncomfortable.

the snap was broken before it got to me :(
Would loveeee these if they came with a working snap. They fit like a glove but I was disappointed that the one snap has yet to work. Unfortunately, I needed chaps the day they came, so I was unable to send back for a new pair :( . They do look very high end though.

Look great but narrow.
These look great and only took about two rides to break in. However they are very narrow. I do not have thick calves and by the size chart, I should have ordered a medium. I wanted to get them a little big in case I wear them with thicker pants in the fall. But they barely fit now with just riding tights.

Really nice!
Only had a few rides so far, could hardly zip them at first, but they have stretched and they feel great when riding! I really like the look and feel, super easy to clean! I have a thicker short leg, but they have molded nicely.

Amazing!
I bought these earlier this week and was nervous about the size because I've never bought half chaps before, but I opened the package and found they were a little bit tight. After trying them on with my breeches and boots while standing and stretching they feel much better. I received them up to a day and a half earlier than expected, which was a nice surprise. The Equileather quality is amazing, and surprisingly stretchable. Keeps the leg nice and sound while providing movement for cues. I love them so much and love the features. This was my first purchase at SmartPak, but needless to say I will be purchasing from them again. :)

Zipper died after 8 months :-(
I really like these chaps - they are slim and grippy and fit my calf perfectly - but both zippers got stuck and died within 8 months (of riding approximately 4 days a week). My old zipper half chaps lasted several years, so this is very disappointing and a waste of money!

Fit well; look great
I bought these a few months ago, and they've become my favorite. I'm short, and most chaps that look nice are just TOO tall for me, but these were great. I had to slide them down a bit after the first ride where they rubbed behind my knee, but then the ankles looked like tall boots do when broken in, so that's a plus!
They are hard to zip down over the lower part of the paddock boot, but I wear spurs, so I zip them that far, then fasten the elastic strap. Difficult at first, but now it's easy to put them on. They have plenty of grip, and clean up to shiny with little effort.
