Fabrin is not a cotton blend
Heads up, the fabric description is a cotton blend but the product tag says it's a 93% polyamide and 7% elastane - no cotton. The fabric feels like a thick bathing suit.

Great pockets; weird knee patch placement
The good: I like the dark gray color and that the metal pieces aren't shiny. The pockets are big enough to completely fit my iphone 12 mini, which is fantastic. I am 5'6", 112 lbs., 26" waist, 36" hip. I ordered size 26R and the fit is great. The fabric feels nicer than some other brands I've tried, but not quite as nice as fabric with higher cotton content.
The hmm...: The stitching on the front edge of the knee patches hits in the middle of my kneecap, which seems odd but hard to say if it's a functional problem when riding without sitting on a horse. However, the placement is a problem when I squat down - the knee patch material does not stretch like the main fabric, so the breeches feel really tight in the knees in this position. In addition to being uncomfortable to squat in, it puts a lot of strain on the materials, which I expect would result in premature failure. This was the dealbreaker for me, as I found a different brand that did not have this problem.
If you never plan to bend your knees past 90 degrees while wearing these, they're probably pretty good breeches!
