Roma Fly Boots is rated 3.8219 out of 5 by 73.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I was looking for I needed something lightweight and airy to stop the flies from continually opening up an old wound on my mare's leg without making the leg hot and sweaty and create fungus in the South Florida summer heat. This is perfect. The leg stays cool and dry. The wound is closed (maybe hair will grow again). They seem really thin but so far they stay on, don't crinkle down the leg and she hasn't tried to chew them off her hind leg (she does eat leg wraps normally). And best of all the flies are crawling all over the boot without being able to get to the wound ! I only had them for a month.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Slouch Socks These are not worth the money. Pay a bit more and go with something more substantial. They do not stay up well and after only a few uses, the velcro started to rip.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great deal for lightweight fly boots! I bought these a couple months ago; I have to admit being heavily influenced by the price. These boots are great in that they don't make my horse's legs hot and they stay on and cleanup easily. They don't stay up really well, but well enough. Expect 3 inches of slipping down, but they are light enough that you can put them on snuggly and keep them in place fairly well. They are not very durable! My mellow gelding is doing fine with them but I broke one (seam tore) right out of the package!!! Duct tape fixed it, but just a warning. I really like them, as they fit the bill for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy on and off! I bought these boots to replace the kind that are like athletic tube socks. While the others worked well, me and my horse would get irritated with the time it took for me to struggle to get them on. These boots Velcro on in seconds, come right off, yet stay put all day out in the pasture.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from way too big I bought these boots for a 16+ hand thoroughbred mare and they were way too big...however they fit my brother-in-law's percheron gelding perfectly, and since I couldn't figure out what to get him for his birthday I told him the fly boots for his horse were his present! so it worked out in the end and I ordered a different brand for the thoroughbred

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Roma fly boots I love the weight of these Roma fly boots, very light, but they would have earned 5 stars from me if they had had stretch on the velcro closures. They definitely fall down in no time at all. I'm hesitant to pull them too tight on the closures, because of the lack of stretch. Fix that Roma and I'll buy more.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from These Fly Leg Wraps keep your horses legs cool! I purchased these Roma Fly leg wraps a month ago and, so far, they are the best ones I have ever purchased. The concept of fly leg wraps is tricky anyway, because the horse rolls, moves through wet or dirty terrain etc. All of the others I have owned in the past, made the legs hot and then fell apart quickly. Roma wraps have a nice fuzzy top and bottom that prevents them from sliding down although the fuzzy does get pretty dirty and needs to be washed off frequently. They wrap on as though they were a bandage with straps facing rearward and the name Roma facing up. The horse likes them, legs stay cool and he does not stomp! After a month they are becoming slightly stretched out as he does wear them @ 8-10 hours a day. Still, they seem to be working and I would definitely buy another set of 4.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a fan. Flimsy. Would work in a pinch very short term, but would not recommend these fly boots
