Great gloves
Windstop material keeps hands warm even though gloves look thin. MUCH warmer than they look and are perfect texture for grip on reins. Work with smartphones on too! =)

ride not work
Great glove for riding maybe - trim profile and fits very nicely (betting everyone has thier "brand" of glove design they like best - I have typically liked Roeckl & SSG) ...
However, NOT one for barn work particularly. So not an "ultimate" glove. I am betting even on the riding front that this would work well in very low temperatures - but the tactile abiltiy is quite good.

Not a winter glove
OK, I live in Vermont, but this is NOT a winter glove. Maybe a fall glove, but it's not warm by any stretch. And it's expensive! I returned my pair.

A great glove
Once again, Roeckl has made a fantastic glove! Initially, I thought it would be too thin to be warm, but the wind break fabric on the back of the hand worked very well. The feel of the glove is also effective.

Surprisingly warm for their 'thin-ness'
When I received these, I immediately thought that I received the wrong item. Don't get me wrong, as they are lovely - but I didn't think these thin gloves could be at all warm. I am a picky glove person... I like to have thin gloves so that I can feel. I decided to give these a try, and yes, they are warm! We regularly are in the 20's, but sometimes get down into the teens, and these gloves work well. Any colder than that and I don't ride (just hand walk). I almost exclusively ride in the Roeckl Chesters, and these are now my winter go-to's.

Not a winter glove - at least not for Northeast
I love Roeckl gloves, but if they're going to call this the "Ultimate Winter Glove" it should be able to withstand winter temperatures and wind. This glove is so light I would rate it for about 50 degrees. So please don't call it a "Winter" glove! The reviewer that lives in Texas thinks it's great - but in upstate NY it doesn't even come close to an appropriate glove for Winter. I keep waiting for Roeckl to come out with a real winter riding glove, but so far the best one is probably the Hampshire glove - comfy and warmer than the "Ultimate"!

Great for what I need
The gloves are what you expect for Roeckl quality. Gloves aren't bulky and looks chic enough for "street use." The gloves don't have fleece like lining so it doesn't have that sort of warmth, but blocks the wind well and keeps my hand warm when I'm moving around.
