long time coming
I actually purchased my first Rambo quarter sheet one year ago after being quite stubborn about using the old school quarter sheets that go under the saddle. I LOVE the convenience of warming up and being able to remove the quarter sheet before having an extremely sweaty horse. This particular quarter sheet is a replacement for one purchased through Smartpak a year ago- it was returned due to the fact that the velcro came unstitched. Sadly, medium rambos were extremely scarce this winter and I needed to be very patient, but I do have to commend both Smartpak and Horseware for standing behind their product.

A very wise investment.
I love the way smark pak fills the orders so quickly even with monogramed. It looks so adorable on him and I feel secure knowing my horse is warm with our crazy New England weather.

I first ordered the gold in a large based on the reviews, but it was huuuuge on my 15.3 thoroghbred gelding. THis is, after all, supposed to be a QUARTER SHEET not blanket and doesn't need to cover his butt just loins, but it hung over his tail. I sent it back a got a medium which fits him better but still looks like more of a blanket that proper quarter sheet. I think the small would be toooo tiny based on the rest of the fit which is alright, though the cut for his croup stands up awkwardly since his is rather flat. I am pleased with the colour and other aspects, but was a lot of work to find the right one for my horse..

love this!
I bought this for my horse this fall since we'd be boarding over the winter, and riding in the cold. I absolutely love it. It's very warm, but breathes beautifully, so it helps keep his haunches warm and dry. It may be quite a bit more expensive than other fleece quarter sheets, but it really is worth the extra cost. The quality and thickness of the fleece is superb. Definitely recommend this product!

Great Buy
Very Soft, durable, and warm. They even lined up my monogram with the stripes. I loved using it yesterday during my ride in the sleet and freezing rain, kept my horse warm, toasty, and relatively dry in the bad weather :)

Nice Quality, best fit for the big guys
Purchased this quarter sheet for my Morgan gelding, it is very nice quality and holds up very well, and looks great with the monogram I had embroidered on the lower left side. However, its cut for a big warmblood. While the length is perfect its bulky on the sides. It will work for us to warm up in and then take off, but I wouldn't do a whole ride in it for fear it would bunch up and move around.

Very Stylish and Practical!
My horse and I often hack out on the roads during the fall/winter/spring seasons to help fit up. I purchased this not only to keep us both warmer, but to make us more visible to oncoming traffic. So far, I love it!
Even my blanket-hating horse doesn't mind this quarter sheet, and he looks pretty good in it too!

Very nice
I am a little worried that it will shrink if I wash it. My mare is a 77/78 and the large fits her perfectly right now. Otherwise, the blanket is gorgeous, and everyone compliments me on it (I got the blue stripped one).

Best Quarter Sheet Ever for Colder Climates
This quarter sheet fits so well. The fleece is super thick not like most fleece sheets you see. The thickness makes the price a bargain even though at first it may seem alot more expensive than others. I highly recommend this sheet for those that live in colder climates...though it's thick it is breathable too. Plus you can throw it in the washer and dryer and it comes out looking brand new....does not pill like many fleeces. Very high quality product and one of my winter staples!!

This is a fabulous quarter sheet! The quality is very nice. The material is super think and it stays on my horse very well while I ride. It comes in great colors and the red/black/yellow one I bought looks AMAZING on my Friesian! A great choice for a quarter sheet! I would buy again!

Super nice, thick quarter sheet
I have used cheaper fleece quarter sheets before, and this one is much, much nicer in terms of fit, comfort to horse/rider, and quality. It's thick and cushy without being too heavy. Very easy to attach under saddle flaps or over rider's legs, easy to remove while mounted. My Morgan is about a size 75, and I ordered medium, which just fits.

I returned this item because I thought the fit was poor. As is the case with the matching cooler, you might need to order a size up. The sheet is skimpy, doesn't hang down very far on the horse's sides or the rider's thighs. There is a strange croup dart that pokes the sheet up rather than lying flat on the haunches. On the plus side, it is nice and heavy but I still decided to return the sheet.

Versatile Quarter Sheet
I purchased this because I have long been looking for a quarter sheet with a cut back at the girth that is not a special order. Ideally I would NOT have wanted the saddle cut out but I have a tough enough time finding the XL size I need for my draft cross (84-87 blanket size, 87 preferred). I love the quality of the fleece and the tail cord & hardware is awesome but wish the seam in front of the tail was a little flatter and didn't pucker but this piece is versatile-easy off-and didn't seem to move back & irritate my horse. Love Horseware merchandise!

Best Quarter Sheet
Really great feel to the material. The colors are rich. The sheet is warm yet wicks away moisture. It has a really nice cut and fits my horse well through the hind end. I like how it is cut away at the girth area so I can put my lower leg directly against my horse. The tail cord has a buckle on it which I removed. My horse did not care for the jingling behind him. Easy enough to remove. I have received a ton of compliments. I would definitely purchase another

Excellent Gift!
I am not a horse person. In fact, I feel the definition of a horse is "dangerous at both ends and uncomfortable in the middle". But my wife is, and I needed a horsey gift for Christmas. She loved this way more than almost anything else she received. No kidding! She was so excited about the Rambo (which I had stitched with our horse's name) I was surprised myself. I can't really review how well it performs, but my wife's trainer is the one who recommended it to us and she says it is amazing. My wife said if she were to sell her horse she'd keep the blanket, it's that good. So there's my non-horse person review. I can recommend it without reservation.

The BEST Quarter Sheet
I own 3 of these quarter sheets and absolutely adore them. They are extremely well made and durable and come in various sizes to fit any horse. They stay in place when riding. I never have to worry about it flapping or shifting around while I ride, even cantering and jumping. I especially love that they are tapered near the saddle flap. This way, my leg is against my horse and not against the quarter sheet material.
I had SmartPak embroider my quarter sheet with my initials and the embroidery work was large and beautifully done. As far as sizing goes, I currently own two different sizes. I use the Small on my 14.3h Arabian (built like a large pony), and it fits beautifully. For reference, he wears a 69" - 70" blanket. I have also seen the Small size on medium ponies at my barn and it fits them very well, too. I have the Large size for my bigger horses who wear 80" blankets. Both have broad builds and are 16h and 16.3h. I've found if you go by the sizing chart and correspond your purchase to your horse's blanket size, the quarter sheets run pretty true to size.

This was a smart purchase.
Since we clip our horse for the winter, I wanted a quarter sheet for him to use while warming up for schooling. Admittedly, the stylishness and brand name of this quarter sheet motivated me to purchase it and I figured if I wasn't pleased I could return it. But that won't be the case! Not only is the fit true to size, but the cut and thickness of the sheet is more than I expected. It has impressed many others at our barn, too. Our horse can move freely in this sheet yet stay protected from the cold while warming up.....Definitely a good buy.

Perfect!
My horse was high-fashion and comfortably warm in a clinic this weekend. He was body clipped the day before the clinic and the temperature dropped as soon as the hair was off. This riding blanket fit perfectly on my horse and around my saddle. It was easy to remove while mounted before jumping began. Smartpak did a great job with the monogram quality and placement. I was thrilled! I also own the matching fleece cooler, which still looks great after 2 years of use and laundry. So I expect the riding blanket to have similar durability.
