Very easy! No more yucky straps
These are GREAT for replacing the leg straps that come on blankets and sheets for something that you don’t need to touch. My horse would find a way to get his leg straps so gross and the poop would crust to the clips. Nasty! This I don’t even need to touch, it slides right over his back end. It’s easy to clean if needed with the material.

Easy to clean
Someone lent me one in a blanket "emergency" so I purchased my own and I'm glad I did. This fits on any blanket that has tail dees for leg straps (which break at the most inconvenient times!) and it does a really nice job of keeping the blanket on the horse in both turnout and stall. Not sure how long it will last as I've only had it about a month but it sure is easy to keep clean.

I like these much better than the regular tail straps or leg straps. They are easy to clean and take on and off. They seem a little expensive for what they are, though.

quality is variable
I have several of these...I LOVE them. For me they eliminated the need for leg straps and don't get covered by manure. I have two that have lasted forever, one that snapped on the first day....but I had it in the closet for several years so couldn't return.

The Best Tail Cord!
I had bought one of these tail cords when I bought my new mare a new BoT mesh blanket because the string they come with is useless, in my opinion, and I am so glad that I did! I love how easy this is to take on and off and I love that it not only is elasticized, but also that it is covered by the flexible plastic coating so it is super easy to clean. It is so worth the money and I'm strongly considering changing out all of my blanket tail cords with these because they are that good.

Makes Blanketing Time So Fast
We bought these and we put them on all our blankets because you can easily pull the blanket over the horse and not have to fuss with strap. I will not go back to straps ever! Plus mess free, and super easy to clean off if it gets messy.

Easy Clean
I had these cords on a few turnout blankets. They are easy to keep clean, and so help keep the horse clean. I ordered one for a blanket that did not have one. They stay on well but can easily be taken off to clean or transfer to another blanket.

Good tail strap
Love having a tail strap option to change our the leg straps! So much quicker and easier. I do think the size chart is a bit off though....at least for a thoroughbred. They recommend 50cm for a 78” blanket but it seems a little wide. Not enough to return it but i would probably buy the 40cm next time. I do wish the snaps weren’t plastic though. Will have to see how long they last!

I had this on my mare's overnight blanket. It lasted only 2 nights and one of the plastic clips broke off. She isn't usually hard on blankets so I don't know what happened. Guess I have to go back to using the string.

Great idea but plastic clips??
I bought this tail cord because it's a great idea .... plastic tubing cover over a sturdy tail cord, making it easier to keep clean. My concern is the clips connecting cord to blanket is secured with QUITE STIFF, PLASTIC clips. NOT what I expected from a quality product like Rambo. It was NOT a bargain price at $13.00 a piece, either.
Still, I decided to try one and see how it holds up. If it doesn't survive long, I'll definitely be back to downgrade my review.

I can stand leg straps on any blankets. These tail cords are blessing for barn staff so they don't have to fumble with awkward leg straps. I always several extra in case I get new blankets, and they come with fabric tail cords or leg straps.

Works well!
Oh my gosh!!! Why didn't someone come up with this earlier? Totally works! No more shifting blankets! I have an appoloosa with a sway back which makes it difficult for blankets to fit. This really works for that. His blanket stopped shifting to one side. Makes it really easy for me to put his blanket on. Cleans up easily. I think the fact that it's wrapped in a soft plastic makes it more comfortable as well. Thank you!!

Ordered these to replace leg straps that had broken. My horses are good with blankets so don't need the two straps. One across the back is fine!! These are also great because they can easily we wiped off and like the stinky nylon ones. Great to use for Rambos as well as other brands!

I first bought these several years ago and it’s one of those little things that makes a HUGE difference!! Now every horse blanket I own has a bungee tail cord rather than leg straps. Well worth the money, as they are a tremendous time saver, both when blanketing I’m the freezing cold and at clean up. No more soaking leg straps in s bucket and still having to scrub them, these are an easy wipe clean each time.

Heavy duty and easy to clean
Using these to replace leg straps on sheets and blankets converting the blankets to using under tail straps. It may not seem like a big deal if you're blanketing one or two horses but clipping and unclipping two leg straps per horse on a barn full of horses takes considerable time. I've only been using for about a month and love how much easier and faster it is to blanket and unblanket everbody. We usually only get one season out of the legstraps before they are all stretched out but these straps are significantly more substantial and feel like they should last several years. I love the plastic covering that makes them really easy to wipe clean. The clips are a heavy plastic so unless they get brittle and break, they too should hold up well.
