The perfect blanket tail strap !!
I purchased this as the solution to grungy blanket tail straps that required numerous washings to get clean. The plastic tubing over the bungee cord type tail strap is the perfect solution, as well as the sturdy plastic clips that attach it to the blanket!

Great time saver, much easier than leg straps
These tail cords are amazing, so much easier than fumbling with leg straps, especially the ones that are stretched out and sagging. The plastic coating is so much easier to clean.

Durable and works well
I have several so that I don't have to constantly move them between blankets. The ones I bought years ago are still in service. Work well to convert normal leg strap blankets to tail cord blankets and of course work well with Horsewear products.

Perfect replacement tail cord

Wonderful alternative to leg straps
Purchased to replace the elastic leg straps on a fly sheet, my mare kept peeing on them because they got too stretched. I ordered the 40cm cord, it works great on her 72" sheet. Plus has helped keep the sheet out of the way for bathroom breaks and the sheet doesn't slide around on her rump anymore. Will be getting a few more for her other blankets. Fully recommend.

Life saver for mares
Our pony mare got her tail cords SO nasty, some blankets you couldn't remove the tailcord for washing so I bought these for all our blankets & cut the nasty cloth tail cords off!

Nice
It is nice to be able to buy "spare parts" for my Rambo blankets. I always have an extra for "just in case." I also replaced the nylon tail straps on my older Rambos and the Rhino with these. It is nice to now I can get this and other Rambo accessories so quickly and easily from SmartPak.

A must have for ANY blanket
I bought these for my Amigo blankets because they have nylon tail straps on them that get horribly dirty and are hard to clean! These are easy to clean and stretchy in case the horse gets in a bind. I will keep buying these for all of my blankets from now on.

I wish I would have bought these years ago. I bought one for every horse I have and there are no nasty tail cords to mess with anymore. It just wipes clean and no mess on the back of the hocks. Best purchase and well worth the money!

Easy to clean
This tail cord is super easy to clean and attach. We use it on my 6 year old geldings turn out blanket. Especially useful when layering sheets/blankets during the winter. Easier to remove the top layer (blanket) with this tail cord because there are no straps to unfasten. No rubbing like legs straps. Also keeps his blanket secure when he plays in the pasture. May have to get one for all my blankets.

Perfect replacement
So glad you can buy replacement products for expensive but awesome Rambo blankets! I own four Rambo Wugs and for some reason the tailcord on the mid-weight cracked so I was happy to be able to switch it out with a new one!

Fairly expensive for what they are
I think that they are great replacement pieces; but at the price, it's hard to justify buying them every time the horse breaks one. Twine is free off of the hay and seems to break less frequently

Better design
I have replaced the tail straps on several blankets with Rambo Replacement Bungee Tail Cords. I like the flexibility of the tail cord but I especially appreciate the plastic coating/sleeve. It makes it easier to clean and minimizes the inevitable debris that remains behind as the blankets are taken on and off a horse. The clips can be challenging to attach depending on the size of the attachment rings.

Good product, I got the smallest size
I was flummoxed as to which size to get and had to go to the barn and measure, just get the smallest size, I'm not sure why you'd want it bigger unless your blanket was too small - it just needs to reach across and under the tail. Certainly a better option than using baling twine when the old one breaks, which rips their hair. Rated it a little low on value and overall b/c of the price, I would think $10 would be fairer but I finally got 2 b/c I wanted to preserve my horse's tail.

I'm ordering them for all our blankets!
This has worked out so well, we have decided to replace all of our tail cords with this. The PVC coating really helps keep it cleaner (which means healthier!) and it's easy to remove when needed.
