For Best Results:
It is recommended for dirty coats, manes and tails to use a traditional shampoo first to thoroughly clean, then use Quic Silver®. Finish with a coat conditioner and/or shine spray.
(1.) Remove excess dirt from coat and then thoroughly wet horse.
(2.) Apply Quic Silver® full strength to mane and tail, working throughout roots of hair.
(3.) Apply Quic Silver® full strength to sponge or wash mitt and evenly distribute through coat using a circular motion.
(4.) Allow Quic Silver® to remain in place for 5-10 minutes. (Longer time equals greater effects, 10 minutes is color-safe maximum.)
Rinse well.

Excellent product!
I LOVE this stuff, for both my horses AND my dogs. It will quickly whiten stained manes, tails and legs. For my shelties it really makes their white bright white and even whitens their colors very nicely. Absolutely would recommend.

Good stuff!
This product actually does what it says. I always use it to bathe my grey horse before a show. It brings out the shine in his coat and eliminates the yellow.

Best whitener
Quicsilver is my favorite whitening shampoo. I have tried others but this one just works the best for white horses, flaxen tails, and chrome. Nothing works better. I just wish smartpack sold it in larger bottles.

I use this amazing whitening shampoo on my Golden Palomino Appaloosa and it works wonders when your horse has a good amount of white. I add a bit of Quic Silver with the regular shampoo to use on his coat (he has a white "sponge-painted" appy pattern all over) and it not only brightens the white appaloosa pattern, but it also makes his golden highlights bright and sparkly. I also use this stuff on his sock (works every time) and on his mane and tail because sometimes his flaxen mane and tail get that gross dirty yellowish brown. I rub a bit on his sock and then apply some to his tail, comb that through and then do the same with his mane, and then rinse away! The result: one beautiful Appy (and a happy human)! This stuff is A+... you won't be disappointed!

Long standing grooming tool
This is the best shampoo I have ever used to get whites whiter and keep dirty gray mares clean. I've used it for years and will continue to do so.
Grooming trick for grays...mix 1/2 quic silver with 1/2 rubbing alcohol...spray on for quick daily spotting and touch up for shows.

Great Product!
I have a sorral Haflinger and wanted a shampoo for his forelock, mane and tail. This did the trick. He looked like a fairytale pony when I was done. I also used it on my bay mare's sock and blaze. Super stuff!

Awsome!
Thsi stuff is the best. My grey mare is not grey she is bright white, and this is the only stuff that can really get all the stains out of her coat. It is purple and if you leave it in to long you might end up showing a slightly lavender horse (whoops) So beware not to leave it in to long, but this is the BEST shampoo.

A classic for a reason!
If you have a gray or a pinto or just a whole lotta bling, you need this shampoo. It is a horse case classic for a reason: it works! Don't bother with the others. This is the real thing!

Great Shampoo
This shampoo works great! It gets tough stains out of my horse's tail. However it does stain clothes, and if left in to long the white areas on horses seem to have a purple tint to them. We use this shampoo on grey horses, white markings, and palomino's manes and tails. A must have for barns with light colored horses.

This works quick and easy. Works well on white legs. Nice lather. Recommend using gloves. It will stain clothes, so be careful.

Good stain remover
Overall, this is a great product. I have a grey gelding who LOVES to get dirty, and this definitely helps get him white. However, I find that if his hocks or his tail are more yellow than white, it takes a couple washes with both regular shampoo and quicksilver to get them out. My only other qualm is that with a big grey horse I go through quite a bit of it!!

Wonderful if you wash a few times!
I bought Quick Silver for my white horse. She likes to roll in dirt and finds the perfect mud piles to roll around in. I used Quic Silver and it worked great, but there were just a few dirty spots, so I washed her again. I did follow the label and that definetly helped. Keeping it on for about five minutes does the trick. I would recommend this product to anyone with a grey/white horse or even with a dark horse that has white markings.

An old favorite
I've had a bottle of Quic Silver in my tack box for as long as I can remember. My horse is actually a bay, but he has stockings on 3 legs, and he is very good at getting them really dirty right before a show. The Quic Silver is great, I just use it to wash his stockings and they always come out sparkling white, and the hair is soft and shiny.

Quic Silver
I have a grey Lusitano gelding who has an intense desire to be brown. At every opportunity he rolls in the mud or dust to create a brown mask to cover his grey coat. A five minute wash with Quic Silver and he is grey again with shining pewter and silver highlights. I could not be happier. I highly recommend Quic Silver to anyone who has a horse with a white tail or grey coat to keep clean.
