The Professional's Choice Ballistic Overreach Boots are made with DuPont's original ballistic nylon, a material used in the manufacture of bulletproof vests. Ballistic Overreach Boots use the ballistic nylon as the outer covering, binding at the bottom of the boot and stitching. These boots are extra tough, and able to withstand the daily abuse of riding, regardless of discipline.

They’re tiny!
Ordered a size large and they look like they would be pony sized. Sizing is definitely off. These will be returned and I won’t order a different pair, because at this point I’m uncertain whether my horse would be an XL or XXL (and I do not have a Clydesdale)

Very happy!
I bought these about 5 months ago and they are holding up excellent (used only for riding). They clean up easy and seem comfortable. I did size up as others recommend. My favorite part is they don't make the noise that other bell boots make. I want a second pair!

Great boot, but why the sizing issues??
These are excellent bell boots. Take a licking as turnout boots & come back for more. I ordered purple so I could find them when my horse finds a magical way to remove them in the field, and the color is lovely. Only reason I can't give these 5 stars is that I don't comprehend how the sizing could be so crazy!! I ordered an XL for my 15.1 hand horse with pretty average/small feet and they BARELY fit. These aren't an option for my 16.3 warmblood.

Nice boots
I needed over reach boots and bought these.They fit well and stay in place. I ordered large size and had to return them as they were too small. I reordered 2xl and that was a fit. Not sure if they come up small or I don't know how big my horses feet are. Probably the latter. Any way they were changed with no problems.

Fair Price, which it was more durable
This is my go to pair of overreach boot. The quality is there, but my horse is tough on them and drags his feet and bumps them constantly. After a few rides it starts to wear away. The price is very fair. I would recommend this product to anybody in the market for overreach boots.

Most durable bell boots!
These are my favorite bell boots and I have them in several colors to use for turnout and riding. They stay in place very well and are cut longer in the back, which provides added protection for my horse. They hold up great – I think they’re the sturdiest bell boots I’ve ever used! When it comes to sizing, I’ve found that they run a little small. I use a size medium on my 15 hand German Riding Pony who has delicate feet. They’re also really easy to clean – I just brush them off or rinse them off with the hose.

Run small
They seem really nice, but run quite small. I have a 16'2 hh Hanoverian mare, and just sent back the L (which were not just a little small, but waaaay too small,) and am getting the XXL now. Seem like great quality though, once the sizing is dialed in.
They do tell you the explicit measurements in the description- I am accustomed to simply ordering size L in boots/wraps for my normal sized mare. Oops.

Works great and cleans easily
I received these a few weeks ago for use during exercise for my mare that overreaches pretty badly. I had a pair of rubber bell boots but I kept hearing a lot of clicking during work so I wanted to try something that doesn’t flop around as much.These boots have been working great and are super easy to clean. I love that I can just hose them off and by my next ride they are clean, dry and ready for use. I would be hesitant to use them for turn out because they seem to trap dirt more than the rubber ones and my thoroughbred mare has thin skin that blisters easily.

The Extra large is too small for my horse
It runs too small for my horses. Even my horse that normally wears a Large - it is too small! The quality is very nice it just runs too small.

Love them, great color!
I bought these for competition about a month ago when I put shoes on my mare. We do jumpers and I wanted to protect her as much as I could. These boots have been fantastic. They match my jumping boots perfectly and have a nice, secure fit. Very happy with the color and the durability. I make sure to wash them each time after I compete as well. I purchased the large turquoise boots for my 15.3 Morgan.

Great boot and easy to use
Great boot, quick on and off, runs small. Needed to order a size larger than traditional bell boots for my mare and two sizes larger for my gelding. My 15.1 mare is in a large. My 15.2 gelding is extra large.

OK boot for price
i have used these bell boots for a while now, and i have been dissapointed that the size she needs has begun to rub her badly. the boots are not as secure as i wish they were. i have tried both a M and L, but both spin and turn. they are, on the bright side, pretty durable except for the outer liners, and has a great color choice.

Love them
Another boarder has these and said they run small. I bought a size large pair for my 15.1 Appendix and they fit perfectly. No moving, no rubbing, and the Velcro is very sturdy. These seem well made and I hope they last a long time!

This is my second pair of these boots. I love that when they are placed they do not turn or rotate as my horse works. They have worn very well and wash well. My first pair has a lot of life in them yet, but I wanted an extra pair on hand for when I take them home to wash. Not sure how they could improve these boots.

I like these boots because they hold up better than the rubber or pvc types for my gelding who destroys bell boots in no time. They do run small though. My horse is 16hh with standard feet and the L are too small

Great Overreach Boot!
I've always been pleased with Professional Choice products but I have been especially satisfied with this product in particular. I've owned these boots for almost two months now and use them almost every day. They haven't in the slightest began to show the first sign of wear and tear which is impressive considering I do a few hacks a week in a field. That being said, I velcro has held up nicely so far and the no-turn knob really helps to keep the boots from sliding around during our ride. Thanks SP for recommending and carrying another great product for my horse!
