Really disappointed
Bought this in the store and oiled it immediately to try to soften the leather. Within 3 uses the noseband cracked. The store exchanged it and this new one is already cracking again. I have 3 other Plymouth bridles that are older and have held up well. Not sure if it’s new leather but this quality is not what I expect from SmartPak

Poor quality
I bought this and in less then a year (about 8 months) of very little use, the keeper on the nose band has already broken. It wants to be a nice bridle but the quality just isn’t there

Nice bridle
This bridle is already nice and dark. It took quite a bit of oiling but I’m super please with this purchase. I’ve only had it a few weeks so not sure how it’ll hold up but You can’t beat the quality for the price.

Beautiful Bridle!
I bought this bridle just for schooling as a replacement for the Plymouth Wide Noseband Bridle and I’m really glad I did. This one is properly proportioned in the noseband and throat latch plus the leather is gorgeous! I have gotten so many compliments already where people can’t believe that it cost under $100.

Not impressed
I bought this for our new 12hh Welsh pony in pony size. It's very stiff leather even after oiling it a few times. I've been using since 3 months and it's still really stiff. I can't imagine the pony is very comfortable in it. As well, the throat latch is entirely too long and doesn't fit even on the smallest setting (pictured). The side buckle for the noseband is adjusted to the 2nd to last hole and the residual strap now hangs down past his noseband (not shown in the attached picture). I basically have a bridle that looks ridiculous. I mean, I can use it for hacking around at home but it's not show worthy due to the poor fit even at local shows. I just don't get how this can be advertised as "pony" size when it doesn't come close to fitting a standard pony. I just wish I knew how ill-fitted it was before I kept it.

Very Disappointed!
I ordered this bridle to replace my old schooling bridle. I normally love SmartPak products, but I am very disappointed in this bridle. Leather is extremely stiff, even after regular cleaning and conditioning. The leather is also cracking around the noseband. The cheek pieces do not fit in the keepers.

Good schooling bridle
Really happy with this bridle. I purchased the oversized one for my mare. Was worried about the fit. She is a Percheron but draft sizes are too big. This fit perfect! Leather is decent and it looks nice. Good value

Good Bridle for a Good Price
I bought the Cob size Chocolate Brown Plymouth bridle for my 14.1hh QH filly. I have not had it long, but can tell you my first impression. The leather quality is good for the price. It comes very stiff, but seems to be getting softer with each oil and use. (Note: do not oil it before you try it on—I am not sure you can return it after you oil it.) The Cob size works, but I have to buckle the cheek piece connecting to the bit near the top hole, and the nose band I can only buckle on the first hole. Overall, it’s good bridle for a good price.

Good schooling or non rated show bridle
I bought this as a schooling bridle and it was way better quality than I was expecting, the only issue was that the throat latch didn’t fit through the leather loop “keeper” as I call it. I had to oil it and stretch the loop by stuffing some screwdrivers in it. Other than that it had nice padding and was t super stiff!

Great quality for the price!
I’ve had this bridle for almost a year now and it has held up great! Love the stitching and laced reins. I have an appendix mare and she is on the smaller side so she wears a cob size.

Great, Affordable Bridle
This bridle was a bit stiff out of the bag, but after oiling it softened up no problem! I regularly clean and condition my tack and it has softened up to feel much higher quality than it is! For the price, this bridle is great!

The nicest bridle I've ever owned
My mare has a complicated head size, she's got a short pony head, but her nose is very wide. I got a full and on the smallest holes it fits her perfectly! I use this birdle for everything, HUS shows, Jump schools, XC schools, Hunter shows, Lessons, and everyday riding. I'm amazed how nicely it's held up. It's super well padded and the leather cleans up really easily. All in all, very nice bridle :)

I bought this bridle several months ago and I'm really happy with it. I think it's a nice quality bridle for the cost. After working it it for a little while and using some conditioner, it's softened up quite a bit since I've had it.

It's a SOLID Bridle
I've had it for a few years now and it's held up well. It's very sturdy and a softer leather than other cheaper bridles but it isn't as soft as a high end bridle, but for the price you can't beat it. The reins are nice since I ride without gloves and they are soft enough not to give me blisters. It is the perfect schooling bridle or for going to non-rated shows.

easy to adjust on the first time
I bought this for my first horse a year or so ago and really liked it.

Very Poor Quality
Even though the price is low, I expected tack I could use. This was stiff, like cardboard. I tried soaking it in oil and it didn’t soften. Then the glue started to come out.
I’ve purchased cheap bridles before and been able to make them nice.. not this one.

Nose band broke after 5 months of use.
Poor quality leather. Smartpak wouldn't replace or repair. I wasn't looking for a new bridle just to replace the nose band that was broken. Very unhappy customer.
