Poor quality overall and very cheap leather
One of the keeper loops on the cheek broke the second time I put this bridle on my horse. The leather is very low quality and the bridle looks cheap. I would not recommend this at all, and it is definitely not suitable for competition.

It's Alright.
I bought this with a gift card and on a pretty steep sale, so I paid less than $50 of my own money for it. I wouldn't pay full price!
Pros: Fits my Arabian well (Cob size). I often have trouble with the noseband being way too big, and while I'm still on the last couple of holes, I didn't have to punch any more. Cheek pieces, crown, and browband fit her beautifully. It's a nice bridle for the price I paid, but definitely not worth more than $100.
Cons: As others have noted, the leather quality isn't stellar. I conditioned the crap out of it before the first use, and will continue to do so, hopefully to prevent cracking. I certainly wasn't expecting $300 bridle leather, but for the full price of this bridle they really should find a little better leather.
It's not my main bridle so it'll do alright for my purposes, but if you're looking for something good quality to use daily, I'd save your pennies and get something nicer and probably more durable.

Cheap quality, broke after 2 uses
I was excited to see Smartpak had their own brand anatomic hunter bridle. Out of the box, the leather quality was not as good as their other bridles. Reins are too short, cannot allow my horse to stretch his head down without only holding buckle in one hand. One second use one of the noseband keepers broke. Very bummed out.

Poor Quality
I love how this bridle fits and looks on my horse. I am however upset with the quality. The leather started cracking within seconds of being taken out of the box.

Lovely bridle
I bought this bridle a month ago. I wanted an ergonomic bridle to make my horse more comfortable. It was hard to find one without a flash nose band that wasn’t too expensive, but there it was at Smartpak! It seems to be well made, and my horse seems happy with it- no fussing and less bulk around the crown piece.,If it came with buckle ends instead of hooks it’d be even better! I’m very pleased with this bridle.

Quality wasn't great and holes are really big!
The leather quality is not great and ultimately why I sent it back. Too expensive for bad , rough cut leather. And I'm not sure why the holes are so big. Odd. Sizing was tough too. My TB typically takes a cob size bridle, but I could barely close the noseband. The cut of the crown piece to allow space for the ears, was very nice however.

Great schooling bridle
I bought it for one of my lesson horses recently. It’s a great schooling bridle, or competition bridle on a budget. Leather arrived was soft enough for immediate use. I bought a Cobb sized bridle for my 15.1h OTTB mare - she isn’t very big, and it fits her wonderfully.

Simple and classy
My mare has been on a Western bridle, this was her first English one and it arrived Friday (on time). My trainer picked out a bit, I woulf give 5 star but it was a bit tricky to assemble the bridle. The leather is new but will soften up over time and with conditioning. For a first time bridle, that is a practical price I like it so far. It looks super classy and simple. Can’t wIt to see her with the bonnet when that arrives!

Good fit, could be better
This is my third Harwich bridle and although I really like the design and fit, the leather isn’t great quality. I can already foresee leather cracking and wear occurring early on. My other Harwich bridles, purchased in 2013/2014, were much better quality.

Really nice bridle
Really like this bridle. I love that my horses breathing isn't restricted with the flash. Leather seems a bit ehhh on the cheek pieces & several of the keepers are very loose. The price point is reasonable. Looks lovely on the horse. Purchased cob size for TB. Fit perfect
