This top is made with SmartCore™ fabric, which has UPF 50 sun protection, outstanding moisture-wicking properties, and helps regulate your temperature without the need for any added chemicals. What does all of that mean for you? That you’ll be cool, dry, and protected and that you’ll have peace of mind that you’re not exposing yourself to added chemicals. Plus, since the UPF 50+ protection, moisture-wicking, and thermoregulatory power of the fabric is built right in, it won’t come out in the wash. Additionally, underarm mesh vents and a 1/4 zip give you extra airflow when you need it and a stand-up collar gives you extra protection against the sun’s harsh rays. Finally, a summer shirt with proper short sleeves! Neither too tight nor baggy, the sleeves are just right. Love the feel of the fabric as well. But take note -- if you are between sizes, order the larger size unless you want that super-fitted look.

Everyone Needs Great Quailty Sunshirts!
I have always purchased the long sleeve Piper Sunshirts. I thought I would try a short sleeve. It did not disappoint! The UPF 50 sun protection is very important to me. I spend a lot of time outside in the sun. It is great to wear at the barn, a horse show, or walking the dog, and it is stylish enough for a day on the golf course. This 1/4 Zip Sun Shirt will keep you covered no matter where life takes you with the stand-up collar for added protection.The Piper SmartCore™ Short Sleeve ¼ Zip Sun Shirt is lightweight, soft, breathable, and comfortable. It is very easy to wash as well, wash and wear. My husband saw the black color, that I have, and thought he would like it for boating as well. I had my barn logo embroidered on my shirt and it came out amazing! I will be purchasing more in different colors, without the logo, for everyday wear! It is fashionable and smart with that all-important sun protection.

Comfiest Shirt!
This is the comfiest, coolest, softest shirt out there! Wearing it makes me so happy because it is THAT comfy. It is very cooling, especially in the California summer heat. This shirt is perfect for summer riding and even with everyday wear! The fit is true to size, but I like my shirts a bit more form-fitting so I size down. For reference, I'm about 5'5 and 145lbs and got a size XS. The best part is, that it doesn't shrink when I accidentally throw it in the dryer! Overall 10/10 would recommend it!

This shirt was even better than I expected. The fabric is soft and comfortable, yet not thin or flimsy. The blue color is very flattering and the fit was perfect for my body type. It washes easily and looks like new.

Soft,comfortable and look good!
I own about every brand of sun shirt that’s made and only recently tried these.I love them so much I’ve bought a lot more of them.
Love the fact that they have solid colors and wish they had more color selections like the colors Tailored Sportsmen have in their collections,since I only go for the solid colors and not the prints
I wear sun shirts 7 days a week sometimes 2 different ones per day and I highly recommend these and am only sorry I didn’t try them sooner

I want to love this top but...
I bought this shirt a few months ago in Lake and Orchid. The fabric is great and the colors are super pretty in person.
Pros: Light, breathable and comfortable - perfect summer top
Cons: The length of this shirt is way too long!! It doesn't look good unless it is tucked in. I wish the length was 2-3 inches shorter.

Lovely Fabric but Very Long
The fabric is nice and light weight and perfect for summer. Fitted but not overly tight. My only complaint is how long it is in the torso. I have a short torso and it is very long; Due to the fitted style, it looks odd untucked so long. I will have to tuck it in when I wear it (which I hate to do). I kept it to use for clinics and shows, where I generally tuck in my shirt.

Great quality for price, but sizes run big
Really great quality for the price. The only negative was that the sizing ran big compared to other designs, even other Piper designs. So I wanted a bit of a loose fitting so I ordered a Large, normally I am a medium. When I got it, it was really baggy, so sent it back for a medium.
