Nice lightweight full seats
So happy that low rise breeches are finally “out”! These breeches are a perfect weight for warmer weather, have real pockets instead of a phone pocket on the thigh, & are flattering. When first worn, they were a bit too high-waisted for my 4’4” frame, but one wash & hang dry rendered them almost perfect.

Great fit overall, runs long.
Very recent purchase. Extremely comfortable to wear in the saddle, and the full seat provides a good grip. Honestly the only thing holding me back from giving 5 stars is that I have short legs and these run a tad long. I just fold up the extra inch so its no problem (not even bulky under my boots) but I do wish they came in a shorter option

Plus Size Rider Friendly!
I am a reiner who is starting to dip my toes into the English world because the proximity of English Barns is much more convenient and I am also a US Size 18-20 carrying most of my weight in my lower half. These are amazing! Run, don't walk my plus size friends! Get your hands on these! I ordered a size 40R and I am 5'1 so they were a tid long but OMG I'm telling you they fit PERFECT in the waist and legs (which is the important part!) The waistband is stretchy and doesn't gape in the back to show the whole barn your undies that match your saddle pad when you squat down! I will be back for more pairs when these get worn out! Thank you SmartPak for your inclusive sizing!!

Nice rise but HUGE in legs
I used the size chart to pick the size based on waist and hip and that was fairly accurate; unfortunately the legs were so wide and loose they;re unwearable. They were flattering to the hips but then baggy and sagged through the thigh and calf.
The knit fabric was lovely and the construction was nice. It would have been terrific if they'd worked.
