Runs Large!
I normally wear a size 8 in boots, I ended up with a size 6 in this boot and it is still a little big. Also runs narrow, I wouldn't recommend for wide feet. Overall good quality boot, and comfortable.

Comfortable for not only riding but all winter out
First off, the Ovation® Blizzard Paddock boots are extremely comfortable. They are water-resistant (snow resistant). The liner is removable and keeps my feet warm and dry. I really like that they are not bulky like many winter boots. They fit well in my western saddle stirrups. I find some winter boots are very tight in my stirrups and I don't feel very safe or secure. It is also nice that they are paddock boot height. It makes them less cumbersome and allows for close contact with my horse. Lucky, my horse, is very lazy and I need all the feel I can get.
When I bought these boots, I was struggling with poorly fitting boots and frozen toes for years. When the boots arrived I had high expectations. I was hoping they fit, would they keep my toes warm and hold up for more than 1 winter. The boots are very comfortable, they fit well and seem to be well made. They are not bulky or heavy to wear. My feet are super warm. The weather this past weekend had below 0 windchills!
They look nice when I wear them out in other places. I use them taking the dogs for walks. I even used them snowmobiling!
They are very easy to keep clean. I brush them off when leaving the barn. If they get muddy, the bottom is a waterproof rubber and can be hosed off.
I love how versatile and warm they are!

cute boots
Cute boots, warm. Consider getting a half size bigger (or 1 euro size bigger like 41 instead of 40).
The boot itself is the right size, but it has a liner bootie for warmth that makes it snug, and the footbed is completely flat with no cushion. I have a favorite brand of insoles that I put in every new pair of shoes so that's not a deal breaker to me, but with the insole and the bootie they are a little tight over the instep. Slightly bigger may have been better, but they'll work okay.
Good enough quality, excellent considering the price. I don't think they'd hold up to everyday barn use but I got them for casual winter shoes and they'll be fine for that.

Poorly Made, Cheap
I bought these hoping they would be great at the barn. They are waterproof but very poorly made. Very cheap boots. They do not keep your feet warm. The velcro doesn't stick. Was very disappointed in these boots. I guess there is a reason why they are so cheap.

Paddock Boots
These are a little tricky to get on and off because of the boot liner, but they are super comfortable and perfect for winter barn chores and trail riding. For the price they are a great buy.

Warm and dry
The entire liner bootie can be removed if your feet get so warm they sweat. I got used to the very stiff sole right away but it does not feel as comfortable to walk in as my summer boots. The biggest thing I would wish to be different is that the velcro closure at the ankle can't be made as tight as I would like it to be even though I have sturdy ankles, not slim and willowy. However, I wear them with half chaps, so that covers the area that would otherwise be gaping open a bit. I ride in several saddles, and the boots are fine in stirrups 4 1/2 inches, but a little too tight for safety in the 4 inch ones with my size 8 boots.

Nice and light weight
Like the feel but had to order smaller size to keep heels from coming up when walking. Unfortunately, they still come up.

Warm and comfy
I purchased these for cold weather riding (in NH) and so far I have been very pleased. I love the pull out lining, and my riding chaps fit over no problem. My feet have been very warm and the boots are comfortable.

warm but very stiff
I just received these. Upside, they look nice and are very warm and less expensive than most winter riding boots. Downside, they are stiffer soled and looser around the ankle so a bit difficult to walk around in.
