Smelly sprayer from
Smells awful!
I tried this 2 summers ago. All of our horses would cough and be grumpy if you used it. It made the people cough a lot too. It seemed to work as well as other leading fly sprays, but it was not worth choking over.

Works good
I got a free sample of it last year and it worked wonders on my horses.. I ordered the 32oz bottle, it came the part under around the screw cap was broken. It works fine just upset it came broken

Works and smells great!

My favorite!
I received some a while back (I think when it was new) as a sample and honestly it's by far my favorite fly spray. My horse can be rather sensitive when it comes to them but this doesn't bother him one bit and still works! Plus it smells great :)

smells great works great
has almost a sheen to it that lets you know where you've put it. Maybe a coat conditioner? Seems to work here down south and it doesn't irritate my horses skin.

Great product
A couple of my boarders had left Outsmart to spray on their horses for turnout. I was a bit skeptical but the flies actually dropped right off when I sprayed them! The peppermint smell is great and I remembered that I had heard mice can’t tolerate it. Since I won’t use poison I began to spray the Outlast wherever I noticed rodents were present and I have definitely seen a decrease in their activity. An added bonus is the barn smells awesome!!

Spray & RUN!!!
It works. I like that it’s natural. I used it for a whole summer, but I won’t buy it again. It is not for sensitive skin and the smell is overwhelming! There’s too much peppermint essential oil. It nearly burns my skin. When I spray it, I have to do so when I’m getting ready to leave the barn for the arena. I hold my horse, spray it quickly, and then RUN out of the barn lest me and my horse end up coughing like crazy!

Quality Natural Fly Spray
The OutSmart® Fly Spray is one of the best non-toxic/herbal fly sprays I have used. Along with working well to prevent flies, one of the main ingredients is peppermint and it smells so good! I had a horse that was allergic to some pesticides that are often found in fly spray. His skin would break out in small hives and he would become very itchy. I tried a few other brands of fly sprays that are plant-based and non-toxic, and this one seemed to work the best for me. I didn't have to spray it as often as other herbal fly sprays I have used in the past, as the flies seemed to stay away for a longer period of time. I use it on myself and my dogs too!

Smell Bothers My Mare
I like this fly spray and it seems to do decently at repelling flies, however, it has a super strong minty smell (which I think smells nice), but it bothers my mare like crazy. If I spray down her whole body with it, she’s sneezing up a storm and looks rather uncomfortable. Was slightly disappointed because I usually love SmartPak brand products :/

Does not repel ticks
The tick repellent I used that worked (Tick Guard) has been discontinued. I hoped this would replace it, but it does not seem to repel ticks at all. Perhaps that is because it has only 1 of the 3 essential oils that made Tick Guard so successful.

Our Favorite Everyday Natural Fly Repellent
OutSmart is one of the best natural fly repellents that I've tried. It is our favorite for everyday use around the farm. It lasts longer than most natural repellents. It does have a really bad smell - I do not recommend spraying it indoors. When I use it outside, everyone is happy with it. I like that it won't kill my fly predators and isn't toxic to me, my horses or chickens.

New Favorite Fly Spray!
I've been curious about OutSmart Fly Spray for a while but I was hesitant to change from the brand I've been using for the last several years. I received a sample in an order from Smartpak and I was super impressed so I ordered a larger bottle right away. It smells GREAT which is a huge plus for me. When I used it on my horse I watched the flys drop right off of him. I only wish I discovered it sooner!

Bought this to try for something different (we use Pyhrana regularly)- it smells good! It seemed to work ok (fly sprays never really seem to work all that well IMO) and would try it again.

Wow. Works on ticks!
Smartpak sent me a free sample of this. I used it hoping that it would help repel the seed ticks that were all over my horses. I didn’t have much hope because nothing much works on these ticks. The next day, no new ticks, the old ticks were gone and none of my horses had a reaction to the spray! Smartpak, your ploy worked. I’ll be buying some of the outsmart spray now.

Can't get over the smell!
I received this as a sample, which is good because if I purchased this it would go right back. I use all kinds of flysprays and none really smell that great - but this one was just awful. It wasn't only me, but my horse repeatedly had the flehmen response as I was putting it on.

Attracts WASPS, left horrible smell on me
I got a free sample of this product with my last SmartPak order, and I was excited to try it, as the flies have been bad this season. The first thing I noticed was that as soon as I put the product on my arms, I had wasps coming after me -- yikes! Then a bit later, I noticed an odd, unpleasant smell, very similar to the smell clothes or linens sometimes get when they've been sitting in the closet for a long time. Just stale and yucky. I thought it must be my shirt, even though the shirt was freshly washed. Put on another shirt that smelled nice and fresh, but that smell was still following me around. I finally realized that it was my arms smelling that way -- blech! The product smells very pepperminty when you first put it on, but at least on me, the smell later is very unpleasant. Maybe it is reacting somehow with my personal body chemistry, but between that smell and the wasps, this stuff is going in the garbage.

I bought this spray to give it a try, but it's so strong smelling it makes not only me gag when I spray it, it make my hose sneeze and any other horses anywhere near us in the barn. I gave it to mu friend who holds her breath when she sprays it.

I thought that I would give this a try because at my boarding barn flies are such a problem. I have also heard sometimes rotating fly sprays can help. I used Outsmart in my rotation & found the flies stayed away from my gelding in the barn. The smell can be a bit overpowering at first but dissipates well. I like it & will keep it my arsenal of fly sprays.

Immediately switched to OutSmart after trying it
I'd been using a different fly spray that I wasn't unhappy with (I feel like you need to have reasonable expectations of fly spray, haha) -- but then I had the chance to try OutSmart one day, and I ordered a bottle that very evening. That's how obvious the difference was. That was a couple months ago and I've been happily using OutSmart ever since. My horse is clearly more comfortable when I apply this, and the pepperminty smell, while definitely strong, is pleasant. And even though the #1 reason I bought it is that it worked, I do also love that it doesn't have all the chemicals that many other fly sprays do.

Best spray ever!!

Natural Fly Spray
I purchased this product in July. It does not blister my horse's sensitive skin and seems to work about as well as some other natural fly sprays I recently purchased. Unfortunately, it does not stay effective for very long... perhaps an hour or hour and a half. It does have a
nice mint fragrance. It seems to be a bit pricey compared to other natural fly sprays.
