A favorite!
I purchased this for my 3 year old just getting started. This is the first bit we tried that she has quietly accepted. These bits are well made and my horses generally prefer them to some other, higher end brands.

Neue Schule is the best choice!
I love neue schule bits, I also have the loose ring verbidend. I bought the neue schule turtle top loose ring however I am finding that my fussy mare leans on this bit more than the verbidend. Love neue schule bits and would purchase this brand only for my bit selection, high quality and worth the money. My mare needs more shoulder lift and the verbidend works better for that specific issue. Now I just have another great bit in my bitbank!

Just What I Needed
When I bought my new horse, this is the bit her former owner recommended I get for her. She seems to love it. It strikes the balance of not too harsh but firm enough to get the results I wanted. Pricey but worth it!

No more llama neck
Bought this for my gelding who used to avoid contact and roundness by throwing his head in the air. I tried the Korsteel French link, and a KK before I tried this bit, no luck with either. As soon as we tried out this bit, he was like a different horse. Now he works into the contact, and doesn't throw his head to evade! Absolutely worth the money!

Great quality, stays in position
This bit was the 5th bit I tried starting out with my then 3-year-old OTTB -- he destroyed the first 4 (including Happy Mouths, which didn't last 1 ride) because he's so busy with his mouth. Everything else kept turning and shifting side-to-side while he chomped. Because of the shape, it stays level and centered on his bars even when he plays with it. He started responding differently (and quietly) immediately! The softer metal may wear out faster than other bits, but I would buy these annually for the effect they've had on our training. He'll be 4 next month!
