Super high quality!
I love these boots! They were insanely easy to break in, are absolutely gorgeous, super high quality, haven't given me any blisters yet and I have ridden in them and walked around a ton in them. Gorgeous for shows or even schooling. I love the boot trees and bag they come with, super handy!

Overall amazing!
I love these boots. Everything about them are great. I got these boots on a Tuesday. I tried them on to make sure they fit -which they did very well except for the ankle. I have skinny ankles so they were a bit too wide but it wasn't horrible and its not very noticeable. I went to ride in them the next day on Wednesday. I wore them again on Friday and Saturday and by Saturday they were completely broken in. The leather is so soft and the calf panel makes these super durable. I was worried I wouldn't like the patent leather as I am a very conservative and classic person when it comes to my riding style but it didn't bother me at all. Not super shiny or noticeable but adds a little fun to an outfit. I love the look of this boot and the leather quality. For the price, this is a steal! Definitely recommend.

Wonderful show boot!
I have owned three pairs of Ariat Monocos and every pair had issues. Therefore, when I went to purchase a new pair of field boots I went with these. They’re super soft, durable and have a custom look to them. I would recommend these to anyone!!

NIce looking boot that is durable!
I bought these boots to be my "not every day" boot--lessons, clinics, shows. I keep my horses at home so I didn't want to use them for chores etc. I love them. They took some time to break in as would be expected but have held up very well. They are really nice looking. I LOVE the mountain horse zipper--it is a hardy zipper (compared to other boots) and I have never had the zipper break on me in any of my MH boots. Very highly recommended.

Love these!!!!
I haven't ridden in these yet, so can not speak of their durability, but these are lovely right out of the box!
SIZING:
The sizing was a little strange and they do run large in the foot and short in height. I'm 5'3 in height and measured (16.5" height, 13" calf width) for the short, regular height. After reading reviews, I ordered a size 7 in the regular height and calf. They fit well, although the size 7 footbed is slightly roomier than I'd prefer. The size 7 (reg height/ reg calf) is very comparable in size to my Ariat Heritage Contour boots (7.5/short height/reg calf) and actually are slightly shorter than the short height Ariats.
QUALITY:
These boots are nice and supple right out of the box. Their coloring (In brown) is exactly as pictured and absolutely stunning in person. They come with blow up boot trees and a thin boot bag, which are also really nice to have with the purchase. My only qualm is that because these boots are so soft out of the box, I have my doubts that they will be as durable as I'd like. However, I will have to update that when I'm able to try them out.

Really attractive Boot with no break in time
I like these boots a lot, the footbed is very comfortable, they are attractive and have literally zero break in time. My only complaint is there is a little gap at the top of the boot by my knee.

Beautiful boot! (Size down 1 size)
I'm adding to my previous review. I returned my size 10 boots due to the sizing change. Since then, I tried other (expensive) boots but none came close to the Sovereign in terms of leather quality and price and I did not want to go to a pair of customs. So .... with some hesitation, I re-purchased these in a size 9. They fit! The footbed seemed a little tight, but after 15 minutes walking around, they are fine. Very happy!

Caution - Sizing has changed!!
This is my third pair of Mountain Horse boots. For some reason, these are definitely longer and narrower than my previous boots of the same size. I couldn't believe the difference. Unfortunately, I probably need a 1/2 size smaller and they don't come in 1/2 sizes. I'm sooooooo disappointed.

Stylish, and durable!
I bought my first pair 4 years ago, and they have lasted through everything! Great quality for the price. Having to buy a new pair for shows! I have gotten so many compliments on these boots! Will never buy another brand of boot!

Really wanted to love this boot
This is so cool in the brown but as others have noted the sizing is very strange. The 8 was an inch too long and the calves run very small. Unfortunately I had to return them.

Would have kept if they were less ornate
Pluses: the cut on these was flattering. I have athletic calves and it's a complete pain to find off the shelf tall boots that don't gap at the top (e.g. most Ariats I have tried). These looked great at the top. I also liked the zip and snap closures.
Minuses, and why I sent them back: I ordered the brown pair and they just looked cheap, especially with all the mix of light and dark brown. I wish they had just picked one color/leather finish and just stuck with it. I know, they are at a budget-friendly price point, but I decided I would rather just save my pennies and keep using my 20 year old not-at-all-stylish-anymore vogels (i am an adult re-rider btw) for now.
Also, regarding fit: I am a 7/12 with by most standards regular-sized calves (like a 13 1/4 in). I ordered the 7 slim regular and they fit well.

Terrible fit
As others have mentioned the footbed is weird - longer and thinner than normal - which was very unattractive. They also gaped very badly at the top as the molded part is actually shaped to bow away from your leg instead of alongside, so you really can fit your hand between boot top and leg without any effort. Needless to say they went back immediately after I tried them on.

Lovely boots for the price!
I liked these boots a lot for being under $500. Unfortunately they fit like a previous pair of Mountain Horse boots that were just TOO tight just above the ankle. They zipped up fine, but the elastic gusset bulged out on my bigger leg and I sent them back. I’m a slim tall in all brands but the Mountain Horse boots just don’t work for me. I wound up buying much more expensive boots.

Fantastic fit
I typically have a very difficult time finding boots to fit. After 4 returns (which smartpak ROCKS!!!) i finally ended up getting these. I wish i had started with them! They fit my long narrow feet perfectly. They do run large, so where usually have to buy a size larger than listed (if even available), i bought my actual size and I even have space to wiggle my toes!!! So excited! Plus they look amazing and fit my calf width and length! I think i will aways buy Mountain Horse from now on!

Great value
I’ve only had these boots a couple of weeks but they were the easiest boots I’ve ever had to break in. They are very attractive, the toe does run long and they are soft leather versus the stiffer dressage boots I normally wear but these are a great value and excellent for every day wear.

Great brown boot
I give them a 4 star because of the weird sizing. The sizing runs long in the foot so order down if you are a half size and I found them to run very short as well. My calf height is 14.5 and I ended up keeping the 6 regular height and I definitely measured to fit in the shorts. The leather is very soft so they dropped to fit well. Overall a great price point for a nice boot. They only took 2 rides to break in and they were never uncomfortable.

Beautiful boots!
Love the look and feel of the boots. However the foot bed runs very large while the calf/ankle runs small so take that into account before buying!
