The innovative Genesis adjustable gullet system allows a single saddle to custom fit all of your horses safely and dependably because the Genesis system provides you with every saddle width needed. Whether you ride several horses, or you horse is growing and changing, the Genesis gullet system will adjust your saddle from narrow to extra wide and any width in between.

The M. Toulouse Aachen Dressage Saddle features a deep seat, mildly forward flap, and is overlaid entirely of French calf leather. The Adjusta-Block® moveable and removable knee block system allows positioning for optimum comfort and effectiveness. The gusseted panels ensure great fit for your horse.

It has adjusted to fit every horse we’ve tried it on, even some hard to fit horses. Since I bought mine, 2 other riders at my barn have tried it and bought their own.

Right away she seemed to like the saddle and is going much better with her training. She is a Last Chance Foal and is a great little gal. The price was great, and at the local tack shop they have a used one that cost more than I paid. I could not believe how fast the saddle was mailed to me and the great customer service SmartPak gives. Thanks so much!

Rated 5 out of 5 by VickiM from Great saddle! I've been looking for a dressage saddle for my hard to fit, short back 5 year old OTTB. I had tried some saddles in my barn and only one was ok. Once I heard about the test ride program with Smartpak it opened up my saddle options. I had tried another M. Toulouse that didn't work at all but my trainer looked at pics of others and said to try the Aachen. My horse loved it right away but I wasn't sure about it. My right hip was hurting after I rode. Talked to my trainer and he said it's because the said is forcing me to finally sit centered and correctly for a change! After I heard that I knew that saddle wasn't going back. Now I've ridden in it for a while and have no pain at all and we're making great strides in our training because we are both comfortable.

I had three reasons for ordering this saddle. - I could afford it. - I liked the idea of the adjustable gullet. - The blocks and rolls appeared minimal. The last bullet is probably the most important. I have osteoarthritis in my right hip. My legs need to go where they need to go. These “extras” seem to be placed in the most uncomfortable configuration possible, and they interfere with my contact and communication with my horse. I received many compliments on the look and feel of this saddle when I pulled it out of the box. The leather looked great, it felt great to the touch and gave the barn office that “new car smell”. I couldn’t wait to take it out for a spin. I expected to love this saddle the instant I sat in it. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The twist was so wide it was a struggle to wrap my legs around my horse. After 20 minutes, my hip was in so much pain I had to stop. If you have any range of motion limitations in your hips or legs, this saddle is probably not for you.
