I love Lemieux, But….. stitching unravels
I love all Lemieux Items, but,,, the stitching came undone on this within two weeks of my horse wearing it. Right across the nose and all around the nose area it completely unraveled and is falling apart.

None better!
My horse started wearing this fly mask (without the nose piece) this spring (2023). It’s now late August. Best fly mask ever! Durable, mesh soft enough yet with just enough stiffness to really stay out of his eyes. And ear mesh also has held up - no holes. He used to rub every other mask off, but has not attempted to remove this one, which tells me it is comfortable for him to wear! The Velcro holds very well.
The one feature I wish they would add is a tab at the end of the Velcro strips to get hold of to make it easier to peel back the Velcro when time to take it off.
All in all I consider this mask to be truly ‘top drawer’ and the best mask I have tried over many years! I recommend highly! I will only purchase this mask when I need to in the future, but I anticipate this one will last at least 2 seasons, and probably more!

Great Mask!
I have used cashel previously and go through one a year…by the end of the season it is usually pretty ratty. I bought the Lemieux this year since I love their pads. This fly mask has not disappointed. Over half way into July and there are no tears (knock on wood!), and it looks like I may be able to use it next year too! My mare wears it from about 5:30am to 8:30pm when she’s on turnout. She’s a cob in most halters and bridles. She’s a horse sized cashel mask. I bought a large and that is just too large. Sized down to a medium and it was a perfect fit.

Like it except for nose piece durability.
My guy keeps masks on so I can say that. I bought the full one as he has a little pink nose. It’s been maybe a couple weeks and everything is great, except the border piece around the nose flap is completely coming off. I’m guessing just from being exposed to hay and eating but still, 2 weeks seems like a short window of holding up.
I like how thin it is. i like the padded nose band. I like how much room for eyes and ears.
My other horse takes all masks off and had the half mask off in a day.

Covers nose
I decided on this fly mask with the drop nose because it covers the nostrils. Unfortunately, my playful guy and/or his field mates destroyed the Velcro. It only lasted about 3 days. Though it looked liked it was very durable and well made. I think my guy is just too rough
