Great Quality
We were having trouble with a school pony that simply would not respond to any snaffle. I have always been against a Kimberwick but honestly she's happy as a clam in it and doesn't pull at all and can be ridden with a much softer contact.

Nothing fancy
It’s korsteel. So it’s nothing fancy but does exactly what you expect for a great price. This is the first bit I’ve used in a while that wasn’t a Herm so the price point was nice.

Good bit for the price
Perfect but for my mare. Just use for the occasional time when I need a more solid connection. Overall happy with purchase.

I'm the rider you love to hate.
Yes, I bought this bit to "fit-in" at the breed shows. I know, I know. What a jerk. But hey, the bottom line is, my mare's tiny little mouth fits around this bit perfectly and she's not uncomfortable. I think her mouth just does better without the joint on the Kimberwick bits. Great quality and she doesn't really notice the difference between this bit and my French link hunter dee. Still, remember, any bit can be harsh in the wrong hands. Watch the chain - it is very adjustable and you can definitely go too tight here.

He loves his new bit!
Shiloh was always chomping at his bit and I knew I had to replace it. With the help of his trainer, we tried some others and found the kind he needed. When I received this shiny new bit in the mail I was so excited to try it, and now he is a much happier guy!!! ❤️

True to size
Great quality bit, very true to size. It looks very nice with the Harwich bridles!

I have a new horse due to this bit!
I have a very forward 22 year old gated horse that I have had for 12 years. I've been riding him in jointed bit with shanks. When I switched to the Kimberwicke he quit throwing his head, quit pulling the reins from my hands, quit chomping on the shanks, and he now has brakes! He's always been a wonderful trail horse, and now he's even better! I never imagined a bit would make such a difference.

Just what I needed
My Morgan gelding HATES any type of bit that pinches his tongue. He loves the solid bar and sucks on it like a pacifier. I only use one set of reins on the lower hole as he responds better to poll pressure. Keep in mind this bit is for a rider that has light hands.

Awesome bit!
I use this bit on the trail and for endurance competitions. GREAT bit and by far one of my favorites. My mare does so well in it.

Nice bit, well made, but heavy.
I liked the bit when I received it. It's well made and nice looking. It is heavier than I wanted for my mare, though, so I will return it for one that weighs less.
