Korsteel Tom Thumb Jointed Rubber Pelham is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wonderful bit. I have a 5 year old OTTB that has a major bolting problem and evades the bit at all costs. I bought this bit hoping it would help. He seems to like it. He doesn't throw his head up anymore and seems to listen to it a lot better than my old bit (French link full cheek snaffle). I am glad I bought this bit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits great Fits horse's mouth perfectly. No rubs. He takes the bit without over curling or being heavy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this bit!! I have had my mare for a little over a year. I was trying really, really hard to make a snaffle work for her. She is a 16 year old OTTB and we do H/J. She tries really hard to please but gets really excited when she sees the jumps and likes to get to them as quickly as possible... I reluctantly bought this bit after a friend (who also happens to judge at local shows) suggested it. The difference is like night and day! No more head-in-the-clouds, hollow back, running to the jumps as fast as we can. She now travels in a round, calm, collected frame on the flat and over fences and doesn't rush the jumps! I couldn't believe the difference! Definitely worth a try for a hollow backed horse!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bit Many of our horses at the barn like this bit. It's a basic rubber pelham with a short shank.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works like a charm I'm using this bit on a young warmblood - he gets very strong with a snaffle. This bit allows me to get him to flex at the poll with very little effort on my part. He's very responsive!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product, fair price! I needed more control with my large Clydesdale/Thoroughbred cross and decided to give this jointed Tom Thumb a try. It has made a huge difference in his reaction time. I ask him for a correction and now he response appropriately! The quality is good and I believe the price is fair. Thank you SmartPak!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality bit This is a standard Tom Thumb rubber pelham bit. Korsteel makes a quality product. Its a little more expensive than some other brands, but I didnt have a problem with that as it is backed by SmartPaks guarantee.
