Rated 5 out of 5 by KingoftheWind from The Best Bell Boots Ever! These bell boots are the best! My OTTB will wear them all the time if I am competing, schooling cross country, and dressage. He would rip off Velcro bell boots every week. The KL Select Italian boots last 3 months of daily use before I have to buy another pair! They are a bit pricey yet, they always amaze me with how long they last.

The fit was great, but I do not want to be spending $88 every month on new bell boots

The second pair I bought in July has a huge half moon chunk missing out of the boot not even three months after purchase. Extremely disappointed because these bell boots are not cheap. Don’t know if it’s because I bought the black color first and then the gum or if in a year and a half the quality has changed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Waiteworth from WORLDS BEST BELL BOOTS I admittedly bought a pair of these from a local tack shop at first for my giraffe of an OTTB who desperately needed shoes when I got him and I needed bell boots asap. Well 4 months later THEYRE STILL ON! I went to go get a pair for one of my others who has gone through 6, yes SIX, pairs of the armas Velcro bell boots in the past 2 months and they didn’t have them in her size. I was so happy when I found them on smartpaks website! My destructor mare has kept these on for a month so far which is incredibly impressive for her! I bought 2 pairs for her thinking there was no way I wouldn’t need the second pair in 2 weeks and the first pair is STILL ON! I love these so much!!! Trick to getting them on, Flip inside out Soak in hot water Pull on clean feet!

Rated 5 out of 5 by dragontamer from No more field-wandering, looking for missing boots Wrangling these on and off the horse's feet can feel like a real chore at first, but it's worth the hassle—these stay on and are super durable. Once you figure out the trick of putting these on and taking them off (shhhhh...it's a secret!), you'll never go back to velcro bell boots again. Impress all your barn friends with your pull-on bell boot finesse. :-) Just kidding! It's not a secret. Using a little hoof oil at first until they get broken in is helpful. When putting them on, turn them inside out and put wide end over hoof first. Work the narrow end from side to side over the hoof. Once the narrow end has completely cleared the hoof, flip the boot right side out. Voila! When taking them off, I find it is easier if I am facing forward, with the front of the hoof resting against my thigh as I work the boot from side to side off the hoof (right side out, wide end first).

Rated 5 out of 5 by dailyplanet from These are the only bell boots I buy. They do not rub my horse, and they do not tear easily. Stretching them on and off over the foot as needed isn’t too difficult, but I do not do it often. My horse lives in them 24/7, through pasture mud and jumper shows.
