Great coverage!
I bought these for my gelding that forges in the front and like to stand with one hoof cocked on the other and pop his shoes off. He's a stocky 16.2 paint, and I bought The XLs. They're roomy at the pastern but give plenty of shoe coverage. No issues with rubbing and so far holding up to pasture shenanigans.

The only ones I buy!
Are they seemingly expensive for rubber bell boots? yes. Are they totally worth it? Again, yes! The rubber is three times thicker than the cheap bell boots, and they last ten times longer! The upfront expense will save you in the long run from having to pay your farrier to replace lost shoes!

Black seems tougher than Gum
My horse is not tough on bell boots (they normally last 5-8 months, worn 24-7, inside and out), but he managed to tear large chunks out of three pairs of the gum version of these in less than two weeks. I was able to get ahold of a black pair, and they seem to be a bit tougher (going on week two with one pair). Certainly a disappointment compared to the durability of the $14 pair we've always relied on (which have been out of stock for months).

My horse LIVES in these!
Yup, you read that right. My horse wears these boots 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.. for the past 8 years! They do their job. They are soft and do not rub him in any way. Very comfortable. All pull on boots are hard to get on/off the first time but there is a trick to it and once you have that figured out it's not that bad. I would say I probably put on a new one once or twice a year. I don't replace them both at the same time, just wait until one has enough rips in it that I want to put on a new one. I have never come down to the barn and not seen one on his foot. They do stay on well!
Anyone interested in the trick: turn them inside out before you pull them on. Pull them up a little further one side at a time until you're almost all the way up the hoof and then you can start yanking up on the middle to get it over the bulb of their hoof.

The Best Bell Boots
KL Select Bell Boots are the best bell boots on the market. They fit well, are easier to take on and off than other brands, they provide superior protection, and they flip inside out nicely when worn.

So far ..great
I've only had these on my horse for a couple weeks but they seem to b holding up better than the cheaper ones that were splitting by week 2 and off by week 4. I will give it 5 stars if they hold up a couple of months.

Worth the Money!
If your horse needs bell boots, save yourself the time and money and get these from the start. In the time that I've had these, I probably would have gone through 4 pairs of the velcro bell boots and at least 2 or 3 lost shoes. My horse has been wearing these for nearly six months and they have held up great. They are difficult to get on and off, but that's kind of the point. I have had no issues with rubbing.

Expensive - but long lasting
Yeah, they're expensive. But they last way longer than cheaper pair. My last set lasted about a year. They run a bit larger than most other pull on bell boots.

Perfect for turnout and riding
The KL Select Italian Bell Boots are my favorite bell boots of all time! I keep these bell boots on my horses that are prone to pulling shoes 24/7. I have never had an issue with these bell boots rubbing the pasterns of my Thoroughbreds with sensitive skin. They last such a long time are very easy to hose off. These are by far the best quality pull-on bell boots I have ever used! My horses in a 0-1 sized shoe wear the medium and my horses in a size 2 shoe wear the large.

Work great
These bell boots have a nice thickness and I was able to get them big enough to come all the way to the ground on my horse's feet. My horse has definitely stepped on them and hasn't ripped them or pulled them off. Last time my horse had shoes he kept pulling them, but he hasn't lost a shoe yet with these boots on and we're just about through a full cycle. He's wearing them 24/7 and they are easy for me to flip up and clean the mud off daily and have not left any rubs.

Durable and stays on!
I got these for a horse who will rip off bell boots with his teeth. He is also horrible about stepping on his shoes with his opposite front hoof, as well as overreaching. He’s just all around bad at keeping bell boots and shoes on. So far, these have worked great, with no rubbing! He’s been wearing them a few weeks now.

Horribly stiff, no pliability
I own a 16.2hh thoroughbred who wears a size 2 shoe. Normal horse with normal feet. No one can get these on his feet! They are so stiff and unpliable, I am so disappointed. Even the pros can’t get these XL boots over my horse’s hooves. They seem good quality but so rigid they cannot accommodate a Thoroughbred’s foot- I fear if I got them on they’d end up rubbing him raw anyway.

These are the best pull on bell boots that I have found! They really are sturdy and last for months with 24/7 use. Unfortunately, my one boy that needs them most, a TB with medium sized feet, is in between the medium and large size in these and he pulls the large size off in the pasture when overreaching. The boots work perfectly for my other horses.

Bell boots that really stay on!
I bought these bell boots over a month ago after trying several different brands of bell boots without success. Anything with a closure came off after a day or two of turnout and the pull on kind of other brands were never large/long enough to cover /protect the back of my KWPN’s hooves. I’m very pleased with this brand for providing a size large enough for a warmblood & quality that lasts.

Easy to put on for pull-on bell boots
The mouth of these bell boots is sufficiently wide to make them easier to put on than other pairs I've had.

The only bell boots I'll use
My horse is pretty destructive (to himself and the world around him) and these are the only bell boots I can use with him. Velcro just doesn't hold up, and other pull-on brands don't make them big enough for his enormous draft cross hooves. Wonderfully durable too! As clumsy as he is, his last pair lasted a year and a half. They're more expensive than other brands, but worth every penny.

Work great, sturdy.
I bought the size large for my 16.1 OTTB. The large fit great with his shoes and pads. Sturdy bell boots that I used during turnout, so far so good!

Incredibly durable!
After trying at least four other brands of bell boots, these are the best! My horse has to wear them 24/7 because he has bar shoes on his front hooves. These boots can last for a year or even longer. He cannot chew them either and they do not rub the skin above his hooves. I was so happy to find that Smart Pak sells them!

Best bell boots out there
I feel like I have purchased dozens of pairs of these bell boots. Every once in a while I buy the cheaper pull on ones and am disappointed. One of my horses needed a new pair and the girl who is leasing him bought a pair of the cheap ones. Not only were they WAY too small in an XL, but when she was trying to stretch them over his huge feet (size 4) they ripped at the top cuff. So, we ordered the KL Selects like we should have done in the first place. Thought we would try the XXL because the XL could have been just a bit bigger - don't do it unless you have a draft horse. The XXL really is XXL. They were HUGE! XL fits both Bigfoot and his smaller (normal WB) mare friends. The girls could also do a L, but the XL is much easier to take on and off and fits just fine.

Sizes for all riding horses
I have a TBxPercheron cross gelding and have had difficulty finding bell boots large enough to fit him. These are the only ones I've found in XXL. Love them. Just took a pair off that had been on my horse for 14 months....still intact.
