A little disappointed
The fit compared to the OG Kensington is small. Quality is great and like crisscrossing belly straps can the old single straight strap style. BUT the binding for the leg straps on the outside of the sheet is catching tail hair and breaking/pulling it out. May end up returning it as it’s a bit snug and eating my mare’s tail too.

Friesian proof!
Let me start out by saying I have a Very, Very busy 4 year old Friesian gelding that has literally ruined other fly sheets in a matter of days. I love this Kensington fly sheet for so many reasons. Side note he wears it 24/7 and lives outside. 1. He has not been able to destroy it ! Nor has his pasture friend!(there are a few small holes of attempts but he continues to be unsuccessful. 2. He is black so it has definitely helped with fading out since he lives outside and it keeps him cooler ( we live in Colorado) 3. He stays clean! And seems very comfortable in it. No issues with rubs. Amazing product, definitely worth the money !!

Very durable, but caused rubs on my mare
I bought a 75" from another website for one of my mares and since it fit so well, I decided to buy a 72" from Smartpak for my other mare who is much shorter backed. The sheet appeared to fit her perfectly, but after just 3 days, my mare's shoulders had rub marks and no hair. The 75" from my first mare appears to fit her well at the shortest adjustment. Thanks to Smartpak's wonderful customer service, I will be able to exchange the 72" for a 75". For those of you whose horses got rubs from the sheet may want to try a size up.

Nice sheet, can't use
This is a very durable sheet, great buckles and fabric, but leaves rub marks on my horse after just one night of wear.

Tough
Only fly sheet that will withstand 24/7 pasture shenanigans. Does rub shoulders but blanket bib solves problem.

Great Fit
This sheet fits my 20ur old gelding perfectly. He has really higher withers and it’s hard to find fly sheets, day sheets and winter blankets that fit him correctly. Usually he tries to rip fly sheets off because they aren’t comfortable for him, but not this one. I am so happy with this fly sheet.

Very durable, snap flaw
I've had this going into a 2nd season now, and it's held up very well on a horse who is pretty hard on his blankets. It fits well, the size was true, and it looks really nice on him. The only problem is the snap closures, which are the "fold in" kind. When he rolls he pushes them open and the snap wraps onto the sheet fabric and re-closes. Then it stretches and tears the fabric. Even the closures on the leg straps were doing this, so up to 6 places for new holes. I'm trying flipping them out, but am concerned he will pop them off the closure. We'll see. This style closure is normally handy, but would prefer a sold regular snap hardware.

Heavy material rubs shoulders
Have had this a year and is perfect in spring when a sheet is too hot. The material is heavy and stiff, durable in beautiful colors. Good to keep mud off and in the cool when flies start. To hot and heavy for summer my gelding overheats in it.

Favorite fly products!
Absolutely love this fly sheet/boots/mask, runs very true to size. My pony is 14.1h and super big boned and the size 69 fits her perfectly. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this product and will continue to use as my “go to” fly gear

I'm in love with this fly sheet!
I bought it for my tri-color Drum mare. I love her to the moon and back but she's a true Terminator of all blankets and sheets. It's so bad that the stable runs a pool on how long they will last. Her record is 12 hours. This is still going! No rips, no tears best of all - all hardware including the rear "D"s for leg straps are still intact.

Only fly sheets I buy
I own 6 of these sheets now and love them! Love the color selections so everyone can have their own and they don't get mixed up. They are super durable and and have great uv protection

Sturdy!
Very sturdy fly sheet! Held up for 2 years on a very rambunctious gelding! Still serviceable, but foam at withers in breaking down. Will replace for next summer. Love the quick clips for easy and fast on and off! Love the coated mesh, no rubs and uv protection!

Durable, easy to put on
I bought this a couple of months ago for my playful and rambunctious 12-yo gelding, and I couldn't be more pleased. He plays rough in the field with his buddy, and so far (knock on wood), this sheet has held up really well. I've gotten great feedback from the stable hands, who thanked me for getting a blanket that's so easy to take on and off (the buckles are great and don't stick, but also don't come undone). It is lightweight enough that I feel comfortable keeping my horse out in it in the heat, though I did keep it off of him this weekend when the temps hit over 100 during the day. Best part - he stays clean and bite-free!!

Great fly sheet
Pros: durable even if your horse rubs himself on things and plays very roughly with other paddock pals. very good fitting and stays in place well, even for mine who rolls at least 20 times a day. Kept my white horse clean (only where the blanket was, unfortunately it wasnt magical enough to keep him white all over..). Repelled flys well and mud too. Best thing...it didnt make him sweat like others I've tried. This one was VERY BREATHABLE. I like Kensingtons fit better than any other sheet or blanket I have so far. I ordered their platinum sheet for this winter for in-between weather conditions. Super easy to rinse off too. I would reccomend their fly masks as well...only kind my pony hasn't been able to destroy or ditch. And fits well.
Cons: I did have to sew back one belly strap on the side when it was halfway ripping off, since my pony was rubbing it to death, (he was itchy this summer really bad) but actually wasnt to bad for the obvious torture it went through. After leaving it on 24/7 in the pasture it did eventually start to rub his hair funny on his shoulder, but no hairloss, just pushed up like it was hairstyled.
So all in all it lasted all summer, only ending up with one quarter sized hole from a bite from another horse I'm assuming, and should be able to use again next year. Would definitely buy it again.

Love the material
The textilene material is amazing. This summer was especially hot and I never worried about leaving this fly sheet on. The fit was perfect and no rub marks. My guy hates flies and I swear he was mad when I took this off him. I only wish there was replacement hooks mine started to rust. Plus side he did not rip or tear it and he is hard on everything

Durable but no movement
I bought this product before fly season really hit and have really just started using it. It’s very durable and love the color, but the shoulders have no movement and my horse now has blanket sores. Mind you, she is a petite TB and her shoulders are narrow. I’m in search of another as durable but less restricted in movement.

Wish they had a neck rug in Twilight Blue
Just bought the Kensington Projective fly sheet for my gray Arab gelding in Twilight Blue. Received the product and I love it; especially the color. I would like to order a neck rug to go with it but they don't show that color available. Hope they make one in the future.

Love it!!
So happy with this purchase! The sheet is made of very sturdy material so it doesn't rip but is still cool and doesn't cause my horse to sweat. Also fits true to size on my hard to fit horse who tends to get rubbed on his withers by previous sheets. I'm definitely going to be sticking with this brand for my fly sheets from now on

Happy with my purchase
I bought this fly sheet for my hard to fit QH. Not only does it fit him perfectly, but the fabric is sturdy. I don't mind that there isn't a tail flap, however I did notice that from swishing a lot, some of the top hair on the tail rubbed, but not enough that anyone but myself would notice. Good protection all summer.

Durable with great colors
I love the strong material these are made out of. I also much prefer how this one is cut over the traditional one. I still wish I could get it to sit tighter and higher up on my TB's neck though. It rubs her shoulders a bit but not bad. I also like that the straps should all be easy to replace if they break.

Nice fly sheet..
Unfortunately, the sheet only lasted 3 weeks before the chest fell apart overnight- which she admittedly did do... but she was in a round pen without anything for her to really do damage on. I tried to contact Kensington about their warranty, but they haven’t responded.

Rubs!
I've been using the Kensington fly sheets on my horses for years with no problems, however the new sheets don't fit right in the shoulders. Except for my slab-sided thoroughbred, the two new Kensington fly sheets don't fit my quarter-horsey types, and i got the same sizes I've always had from Kensington. They looked good when I first put them on, and then both horses came in with the hair rubbed off, and my mare has weird rubs on her inside hind legs from the leg straps. that has never happened before. I can't return them, because they've worn them. So I am stuck with 2 expensive fly sheets that don't fit!

Not quite perfect
Put this on my Rocky MTN today. A little long on the sides though he is 15 2. I like it better when the sizes only go up 2" instead of 3. I do like the textilene since it wears better. This does have a number of sizing options on the chest which is nice.

Lots of snaps and adjustments
Runs 1 size smaller than other top brands. Disappointed that it doesn't have a tail cover but that is my fault for not catching it in description. Very stiff material. Love the color. Rips after only 2 weeks

Tough, attractive, and cool
This fly sheet does a great job. It doesn’t give that “melting” effect on the horse the way some drapey flysheets do. The fit is great and the hardware is easy to use and attractive. My horses seem very comfortable.

Seems very sturdy
Tough material. Looks nice. Decent fit (my mare usually wears 74; got 72 based on reviews thinking 75 would be too big; it's a bit small but okay). Seems like it would be hot in the really warm months but we'll see. A bit over priced but we'll keep it. Like the apparent durability factor. Not at all rain resistant.

Looks Great and Keeps Flys Away
I received this as a gift for my 14.1 Welsh Cob. The 69 fits her perfectly and does not cause rubs. This is easy to put on, easy to clean, and appears to be extremely durable. So far her pasture mates have not been able to remove it.
