Baby rips if off within minutes
I left a review that this is a nice high quality product which it is in it's quality, but now that we put it to the test I need to report that baby gets the blanket off within minutes every single time. The adjustable front is only kept closed with velcro and baby figured out really quick within minutes the first time wearing it how much fun that ripping noise is. My baby is a filly and not very mouthy like most colts, but she is curious. I spent alot on this blanket and was really disappointed as we just dealt with the Buffalo Blizzard and I felt bad she had to go naked while the other horses where in warm blankets.

Wouldn't buy again
This blanket would be great if it wouldn't be for the velcro. My weanling just undo it and climb right out of it. After 2 times now the velcro is done for plus I find it dangerous when I'm not there when he does it. Plus, as a weanling, the yearling size barely fits him (he's a reining bred QH). $100 down the drain basically, I don't recommend this blanket

Very nice blanket
I got this for my weanling arabian filly, she measures and 51 and it fits her perfect with room to grow, it has a nice fleece at wither and the filling is thick in the body part and gets thinner below her belly so it's less bulky which is nice. It has no tail flap, which I have never seen before on a blanket. The buckles are high quality, one of my belly straps has a buckle that won't open, so I put that one on the off side so I won't have to take it on and off. All the straps have snaps at both ends in case you want to remove them which is nice. She hasn't tested it in the weather yet, but so far it fits very well and is a nice blanket.
