Love this bridle!
I bought the cob size for my fine-headed OTTB and it fits perfectly and looks great. I love the white stitching as it matches my dressage saddle and also looks nice on my dark horse. If I need a new jump bridle in the future, I would consider getting it in brown. My only note was that I had to punch holes in the flash, which was huge. I assume the flash is horse/OS but not a big deal.

Oversize fits really big horses, great bridle
I just purchased a draft cross dressage horse. He is relatively light boned except for his front feet (draft) and his head which is huge and weirdly shaped, although he is gorgeous LOL> All my oversized German bridles did not fit him, mainly around the nose band area and the browband so I ordered this bridle and its a great fit. Not fancy, but he is very comfortable in it and the way it's made it should fit a lot of oversized horses. Lot's of adjustments you can work with.

Great Fit and Price for a Nice Quality Bridle
I bought this bridle over a year ago and have used it on average three days a week since then. It has held up extremely well and cleans up fast. My boy recently went to his first Hunter show and it looked perfect! He did step on the reins so I’ll have to replace them at some point.

Comfort with style
The Kavalkade Ergonomic Ivy Dressage Bridle is a beautiful, well-padded dressage bridle that has really cool contrast white stitching. I love this dressage bridle because of its ergonomic design and comfortable padding around facial pressure points. This bridle is different from other dressage bridles because of the extra wide padded crown and the decorative embroidery. Dressage riders will love this bridle, and even better so will their horse thanks to the soft, comfy padding. I use lavender goats milk saddle soap to clean the bridle daily with weekly conditioning with a leather conditioner. My horse has an oddly shaped head and the full size fits him perfectly. There are plenty of hole options throughout the bridle so finding the exact fit is super easy.

Little big, but love it!
I ordered the full size for my OTTB. I did have to punch some holes for it to fit properly – perhaps I should have gotten a cob size – but full sizes in past bridles have fit him well. It still looks great on him and I'm happy with the quality. He seems to be a happier horse with it as well.

Great affordable option for an ergonomic bridle
Judging this against my $350+ Schockemoehle this is a very comparable product at a much better price point. My mare can concur as she is equally happy in both. The only noticeable difference is it is a little heavier. The removable flash is the reason I got it, needed the flexibility by other one did not provide, and the chin strap has a unique way of buckling and has this supportive cushion. My mare does not take any issue with the crown piece (and she is very expressive about fit) so that ended up not being a problem for us.

Excellent bridle for the price
I was looking for a bridle that offered ergonomic comfort around the ears and had padding on the crown piece and noseband and I found it with this bridle and more. This one comes with reins and a removable flash with beautiful stitching contrast, not plain by any means. My horse seems more comfortable and happier.

Fussy three year old approves
I researched many ergonomic bridles before deciding on this one. A 3 year old, TB warm blood cross just going under saddle was fussing with the more traditional bridle. I decided against the fixed in place flash for the removable for flexibility. I like the padding on the cavasson and headstall. I agree the ear cutaway could be changed but fits okay. The leather quality was good and after initial conditioning is pretty supple. The bridle is attractive too.

Reviews are correct, odd shaped crown piece!
I love the quality and look of this bridle and really wanted to keep it but the shape of the crown piece was too worrisome. I have a TB with good bone but his head tends to fit cob size bridles. After trying the cob size and seeing that the contoured shape of the crown piece badly interfered with the bulge of his ear. I tried the full size and it was much better, but still interfered and really needs to be cut differently to allow space for the ear. Ultimately the rest of the bridle was too big and there is no ability to punch more holes. I can't say if it would have actually bothered his ears, since I didn't ride in it but it just didn't seem right. I'm sure there are horses that this bridle fits and those people are lucky since it is such a nice bridle.

Terrible Quality
The style of this bridle is beautiful and eye catching, but the leather quality is terrible. At this price point, I didn't expect the best, but I also didn't expect the bridle to be wrinkled and cracked looking straight out of the packaging. I have a HDR bridle that was $40 less and is much better quality with soft, supple leather - not the stiff, plastic-like, painted leather of the Ivy bridle I received. This is going straight back, I won't even bother trying it on my horse.
