Good bit but needs keepers
Nice soft bit but does the job. My horse is very responsive to slight pressure. No head shaking and seems very happy and comfortable with this but.

My horse has a very light/soft mouth - this bit gives me the control I need while being a very mild bit. This was the second one I purchased for his show bridle.

Amazing for transitioning
I bought this to transition my mare from a hackamore to riding with a bit. She has rode with a hack/sidepull/bitless for 7 years (No specific reason, just never wanted to use a bit) and she has done exceptional! I decided to use a bit to help teach her collection, fine tuning and some other things and this bit has been a dream. She accepted it without fuss, and responds amazing to it. Her mouth is quiet the entire ride - no chewing, pulling, rolling, resisting or pinching whatsoever! I did purchase bit keeper/loops to help keep it in one place and that helps hold a correct position with it. Highly recommend for someone looking for a gentle transition in a soft mouthed horse. High quality material, well made and very aesthetically pleasing. Will be buying more!

The bit is doing what I'd hoped
I bought this bit for my daughter's 13.1 section B Welsh. The cannons are a little thicker at the outer edges than I wanted, but it doesn't seem to be an issue. Overall, I'm happy with this bit and more importantly the pony seems to be happy with the bit.

Awesome product
Bought for my young horse and he is responding well to the bit. Not pulling through his mouth like an egg-butt or loose ring.

My mare is not a fan.
I am surprised after reading positive reviews and seeing this bit (or the french link loose ring) on so many other bridles in our tack room that my mare did not like it. I tried it both with and without keepers (it rests differently in the mouth), but she let me know right away she was not a fan. She usually goes in the loose ring double jointed copper snaffle, but I decided to try this. She threw her head up when I would take contact during flatwork, and seemed to ignore my half halts on course. She was fidgety with it almost constantly, and it makes a squeaking sound. It may be useful to me in other equine endeavors, so to the bit box it goes.
