Hoof Guard seals nail holes and small cracks in the hoof wall preventing harmful bacteria from entering. Hoof Guard keeps in natural moisture helping to prevent dry brittle hooves. Added UV protection guards against bleaching and surface cracks. formulated with high impact Aramid Fiber similarly used in bullet proof vests strengthens the hoof and helps to prevent quarter cracks and under slung heels.
Application: IMPORTANT – Shake Well to get full benefit of fiber. The hoof should be free of dirt and other contaminants. Apply sealant as needed with large brush avoiding coronary band. Easy one coat application. For brighter and shinier hoofs, wait approximately 1 minute then apply second coat.

Absolutely the Best
I’ve been using this for months now with my current horse. I transitioned from shod to barefoot to let the old nail holes & damaged hoof grow out. Kevlar Tuff has been a lifesaver keeping his hooves from any excess cracking, etc. highly recommended!

Great Hoof Sealant & Hardener!!!
I bought this about a month ago at the recommendation of my farrier because my horse was starting to lose his shoes before he was due to be done and I had not had a problem before this summer. I use multiple hoof products living in Florida having to deal with wet weather one week and dry the next week. I found that this product does not wear off as quickly as most hardeners do. I used keratex hoof hardener for a long time and still will continue to use it, but I love how quickly the kevlar dries and you can actually see the hardener on their feet the next couple days it still shows it was put on. I use it maybe every other week and I have noticed a huge difference in my white hoof pony who was chipping up his feet pretty easily with the wet weather. I definitely will be buying more to have on hand once I run out. I use it to seal the nail holes also to prevent moisture from getting in there and breaking down.

Saved my horse's hooves!
During the unusual rainy season this summer, I used this along w/ iodine and turpentine to help keep my horse sound. This did an amazing job! My horse has four shoes, so I made sure the hoof was clean and dry before applying. Bonus, it added a nice shine to his feet!

My horse lives outside year-round. During any wetness (rainy spells, snowy winter,) he's constantly losing shoes because his hooves get saturated and can't hold nails. I found this stuff almost by accident and though I'd try it because it's so inexpensive. Well, I've been using it through a full trim cycle, and the past week has been terribly rainy and muddy. Not only is he holding his shoes, I'm also seeing the his nail clinches aren't popping, which means his feet aren't getting as waterlogged as normal. Just yesterday, my farrier even said his feet look good right now, which she never says! I'm applying it every couple of days, sometimes even a double layer, and it really does dry quickly. I'll make my final judgment once we get into the sloppy winter snow / thaw / mud cycle...but right now, the product really appears to seal out moisture incredibly well.

Wonderful product
I have used many, many products on my thoroughbred horse's hooves over the years. His feet are the worst and fall apart easily. He looses shoes often and tears up his hoof. This product has been working to protect his "delicate" feet. My farrier asked what I was using because he was impressed with how great his feet looked.

Highly recommended
This was recommended to me from multiple farriers who come to our barn for the outside of the hoof(not coronet band). It goes on thick, dries quick and really does seem to protect the hoof. Plus it has a nice shine to it.

Seems to work!
The ground has been especially hard/dry this summer and my barefoot draft cross's hooves have been chipping more than usual. I have been applying this for a few weeks and it does seem to work. The instructions to use in a well ventilated area are no joke-- this stuff is potent! Seems to work better washing the hooves thoroughly and applying while damp.
It's slightly annoying to clean up if you apply in a barn aisle or wash stall since anything that gets on the ground will form a coating that needs to be brushed or peeled off. I'm also not sure how other people can tell how long a coating lasts, I only see the milky tint right after I apply it.

Love This Conditioner
I LOVE THIS CONDITIONER!! My farrier, Chris, suggested this conditioner for our QH/Saddlebred gelding, Ruckus. I noticed a big difference after the first use. Ruckus’s hooves are harder, stronger, with 100% no cracks!!
I apply one coat once a week.

After reading reviews about the Kevlar tuff hoof sealan, and after having my farrier come out to replace to thrown shoes due to muddy Pacific Northwest pastures. I thought well why not, well after one application. Fagan's hooves have grown and he has not lost a shoe yet. I can't wait to see how it works in the winter

This works!
My farrier recommended this product for my horses hooves and it stayed on for about six weeks. I don’t let them stand in mud so that helped. Sealed in the natural moisture and kept too much wet out at the same time. Highly recommend this product.

Kevlar hoof seal
So far it appears to be working.
It's obvious how much hoof grew in after the first application. The sealant appeared to promote hoof growth. The hooves appear to be stronger & without any defects at least two weeks after I applied the sealant.

The good stuff!
My horse has recently transitioned from shoes to barefoot and I would not rely on anything else but this to keep his hooves as strong as they are. It even keeps their hooves shiny and clean looking throughout the muddy season!
TIP: buy a small hand sanding block in order to clear off excess mud and dirt off of the outer hoof wall. Otherwise, you're just trapping in the dirt and grime!

Wonderful Product
This product has replaced keratex in my hoof care lineup here in Florida. After my farrier used it during a trim, I was hooked and had to get a bottle for myself! My horse's feet haven't stayed together this well in the 3 years that I've owned him! 100% recommend. Also leaves a nice sheen on the hoof that lasts for a long time!

I've been using Kevlar Tuff Hoof Guard Sealant because my farrier encouraged me to use it for one of ours horses who had very moist feet from the Florida rains. Not only did his feet look better with in a week, my farrier had lots of good things to say about the horse's feet the next time he shod my horse. It also makes their feet shiny!

Great hoof product
I ordered this based on my farrier's recommendation. I have only used it for about a month and my horse's hooves are shinier and seem tougher. so this seems to be a great product to use to keep hooves from too much moisture especially in the fall/winter months.

I just started using it, but I really like it
My farrier recommended it to help my TWH to start growing her toes (previous owner gave her a QH trim). As far as I can tell, it's doing its job. A secondary plus is...it makes the hooves shiny and, if I cared about such things, I think it'd make a decent polish! :D
