Super comfy!
I wrote a review awhile back for the test ride version(bc that is what I got)but since it is the same saddle, here is my experience with it so far :
Really really comfortable! It feels like riding in a couch, but not so much that you can't feel your horse-- Narrowish twist, probably to provide that closeness. you won't feel like your hips are being crow-barred into place.
I bought the wide tree because I ride a few different horses and have been able to pad up if needed for it to fit for a QH horse with more pronounced withers. Without the addition of a wither pad, it fit a round, mutton withered gypsy vanner well, as well as a stocky/chonk QH.
The seat---I am 5'2 and 120-125lbs. Seat size wise I can ride in 15 or a 16 inch, ideally a 15.5. I bought the 16inch and I am glad I did because the seat is deep and it has a high cantle, so it fits more like a 15.5inch seat. Really supports you.
I have short legs(27-28 inch inseam) and the fenders BARELY go short enough for me BUT there is room to punch additional holes, so I will likely end up doing that as the leather inevitably stretches an inch over time.
I like the cinch rigging attachment points in front, I haven't had a saddle with them in that shape before and it does allow you to cinch up in ways that provide a little more shoulder freedom and snugs the saddle into place better/distributes pressure more evenly. I do a Y type thing on both sides---it comes with long latigo straps already attached so you can do this.
All in all, a quality saddle for the price point! I wanted something that I could take on long trails but also do western dressage with and I think it fits the bill.
