As riders and online shoppers, we know it can be tough to buy a new bridle or pair of boots without trying them on. That's why we moved the fitting room to your living room (or barn)! From breeches to blankets, if you or your horse can try it on, you can return it, free! Just use the pre-paid return label included in your order within 60 days from the purchase date. And of course, please make sure the item is in like-new condition with original packaging (we said 'fitting room', not 'war room'!).

Harwich Rubber Lined Laced Reins can be your own secret against slipping reins. No one needs to know, we won't tell! They look just like traditional laced reins but they have a thin lining of rubber to offer extra grip to keep your hands from ending up in your lap. We are big fans and think you will be too! Full size, 54".

Harwich Rubber Lined Laced Reins by SmartPak is rated 4.3333 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great idea... This is a really good idea. Discreet rubber lining along the inside of an attractive, fancy stitched rein. In reality, the leather is... meh. Meh, at best. I conditioned and conditioned and then conditioned some more. They improved. Hazelnut became Havana. I like the grip factor, and hope the laces soften.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice Detailing but Stiff The reins that came with my harwich bridle snapped after they got caught up so I had to replace them and figured I would try these. I loved the reins that came with my bridle, but these rubber lined ones were of much less quality. They were very stiff and cheap feeling, however the stitching was very elegant. I exchanged them for the traditional harwich laced raised and fancy stitched reins that the bridle came with and I am sure they will please. Exchanges are never a problem with smartpaks excellent service!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great reans for the price I was looking for rubber lined reins so the jumper I ride won's rip the reins out of my hands in the equitation ring. I love the high quality leather and the fact that they're raised and have fancy stitching on the part that's raised. They appear to be very well made. Dover has similar reins for the same price but they aren't raised with fancy stitching. I just think that looks way better in the show ring. And plus I got free shipping with Smartpak. Good luck getting any sort of a discount with Dover.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Idea Just rode in these for the first time this weekend and they were great, non-slip grip for a hot and humid summer day. I'm used to riding the jumpers in normal rubber reins and using these was great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great! The rubber lining is very discreet, and the reins themselves are not chunky in your hands. Offers excellent grip! They are a bit stiff and will need some oiling and conditioning to help break them in, but they match my bridles and I'm excited to try them at a show!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Functional Reins These reins are pretty and will not slip! I love that they aren't much bulkier than normal braided reins. Approved by my trainer and tested on a very strong horse! I can't wait to use these at a show and not have slipping reins.
