Harwich Fancy Stitch Laced Reins by SmartPak is rated 4.1818 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprisingly Great Replacement I bought these to replace the reins on my Antares Hunter Bridle which my mare stepped on and snapped. Oddly enough I think I like these better than the Antares Reins. The length is much better (these are shorter at 54") and are not paper thin like the Antares reins. The color was even a perfect match to my bridle so I didn't have to go through the trouble of darkening them. I would definitely recommend getting these!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Replacement I've owned the Harwich Bridle with Fancy Stitch Laced Reins by SmartPak for about 4 years now. I get many compliments on the set and it has held up well for both schooling and showing. My horse tripped and stepped on the reins a few weeks ago, so I needed to replace the broken ones. I was dissappointed that the matching reins were not offered in the same length that came with the bridle, as they were the perfect length. I ended up going with the shortest option. They look and feel great. I just miss the extra two inches. If your horse has a long neck or a low head set, go with the longer ones.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Adequate I like the 'look' of these reins very much, however they come with a significant amount of wax and day. This needs to be scrubbed off before you can oil them. They still don't have the 'feel' I'm looking for. For the money, a good product. Leather quality and craftsmanship is fine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very nice reins for the price I bought these to match a Hadfield's bridle for which I only had rubber reins. The leather color is a little reddish, which is good for matching, and is darkening pretty easily after one oil and a week or so of cleaning. The only drawbacks is one rein is darkening slightly more than the other (not noticeable when on horse) and there is a piece of leather that is soft/stretched up by the buckle. If it were in an area that was being pulled on, I might worry about. Overall, they are soft and beautiful right out of the box.
